1stymom:You can change your toothpaste. I don't know the one you're making use of but I recommend Sensodyne toothpaste (rapid action). Be disciplined enough to brush every night with it before you go to bed. Do it for a week and thank me later ![]() |

Ehe! Let me rant small... I thought people say 2nd trimester is a honeymoon stage? Why am I not seeing the honey in the moon eh? There's been no difference o. Though I didn't experience any morning sickness at all in my 1st trimester except for excessive weakness and excessive hunger. Right now I'm still experiencing this incessant hunger and weakness. Why is my case different and who did I offend ![]() Fellow August teamies it's doing me like August is next year o . Lols still too far |
Layormiii:No be lie, we too like food eh... I've been eating mercilessly from my first trimester till this moment. When people talk about food aversion, I only can imagine what they are talking about . Lol. |
I just can't stop shedding tears after reading this. This is a very terrible experience. No matter how much you try to explain, I know no one would be able to understand the depth of your pain. A marriage that's less than a year. I can only imagine the pain my fellow woman went through just to be a mother. Please take heart sir. My prayers are with you. I pray God avenges your wife's death. I'm equally heartbroken. Quick recovery to your son. May his life be a great consolation to you. I know he'll always remind of this ugly experience. It's well sir. Please take heart. |
Layormiii:Amen to your prayers ma! Sounds to me like you've read the book "supernatural childbirth" ![]() |
Bella3105:ok. Thanks a lot ma |
Bella3105:ok ma. So please what is Fibroid mass and is it really "inconsequential"? |
Good Morning mamas. Please I have few questions to ask. 1. Has anyone here heard of Fibroid mask? What is it and what is it all about? 2. Can a pregnant woman experience muscle pull on her tummy? Is it normal or abnormal? I visited a doctor who happens to be a sonographer. When I laid on the bed ready for the scan to be carried out, I felt something like a muscle pull and a bulge on my lower abdomen and it was very visible. I complained and showed it to the doctor, he smiled and said it was the baby's movement. When he poured the cloud oil/fluid and started the scan he pointed out that the stuff wasn't the baby o. Because we saw the baby actively moving but the stuff kinda restricted it's movement. I asked the doctor again what it was and he said it is "Fibroid mask" but I shouldn't worry that it is too "inconsequential". Whatever that means. So abeg mamas and papas, what is this inconsequential fibroid mask that decided to appear on that day? Because me I don't understand. ![]() |

How can husband be AA and wife is AS, and baby is SS? Paternity fraud looming... Husband is AA, wife is AS. 3 months after they had their first child, they found out their daughter was SS. At first, it appeared like a joke, a very bad one. Medically, that isn't or shouldn't be possible. They conducted the genotype test in four medical labs, and the result came out the same. Husband and wife decided to have their genotype test again. Results were the same. Then it became clear what was happening. Husband ain't the father of the baby. He secretly had a DNA test and it was confirmed he didn't father the baby. Amidst the confusion, he asked his wife if he fathered the baby. Wife wouldn't confess. She insisted he fathered the baby. It's just obvious that whoever fathered the baby is AS which resulted in the baby's SS. They went for a paternity test and it was glaring husband ain't the baby's dad. Wife still insisting she didn't get impregnated externally. She went ahead to do another DNA. Result was the same. Wife became a shadow of herself. Husband got crazy. Their home became a "once upon a time." Wife kept researching how possible it was that her husband didn't father her baby and the baby's genotype is SS. Then she told a friend of the whole matter. Her friend just felt she's using female's antics. "Take responsibly," she was told. She kept swearing and swearing. Her friend told me of the whole drama. I kept thinking about how this would be possible. Medically, it was impossible for AA to birth SS. Coupled with the DNA results, it was glaring. But wife claiming innocence and swearing on her life was a whole different thing. I thought of what could have been. Then I arrived at a conclusion: if wife is innocent, then she's not the mother of the child. I immediately called my friend that I've found a possible solution. MNA (maternity test) to the rescue. A MUST READ. They went for an MNA, and test revealed she's not the mother of the baby. Babies were changed at birth. Long story cut short, they involved the police and investigations were carried out. Multiple tests done "ear and dear." They got their own baby back - AS. They returned the supposed baby. Hospital was sued for the negligence and trauma. Wife was so displeased her husband didn't trust her. They settled and made up. They just had their second baby - a boy. Husband stayed with wife in labor room and monitored everything. Once bitten, twice shy. At times, so called paternity fraud is change of babies at the hospital. Hmmmmmm This story gave me goose bumps. DH must follow me to Labour Room o. |
german01:what are you talking about? ![]() |
Hamzashaf99:Very painful! I'm glad someone else can relate. Avoidance of cold water? really? now i'm confused. I was advised to be taking cold water o maybe because of the bleeding i experienced last week. They said it will make my body/tummy cool as hotness may trigger another bleeding. What do i know? As a FTM we download every advice hahaha ![]() |
Good evening Mamas and Papas in the house. Abeg make una no vex too much o. Please pardon my naiveness. I want to ask... Even in hot weather. I'm even sweating on top ![]() I say lemme ask o as I not fit take medication na. |
Omakraid:Enough water? Really? That's an important point to note o. Ok i'll increase my water in take (just the fear of over peeing ) thank you ma. |
FlowerGirl040:Amen! Thanks a lot mama |
FlowerGirl040:Oh mama thanks immensely for checking on me. I'm fine o at least better than I was. Mum in law insisted I lie down and do nothing but to eat and sleep. She journeyed down to ensure I obeyed. She even did the cooking herself as hubby wasn't around. As I couldn't get to the hospital that day because it was a bit far from my residence and secondly it was weekend. I wasn't sure if I would see the doctor. So I jejely obeyed MIL and she advised I used ice water/cold water to massage my tummy/lower abdomen which I did. The bleeding has stopped, just a tiny drop I saw yesterday on tissue when I wiped. I'm trying my best to rest. Even though work isn't letting me. But generally I feel better I was last week. Thanks so much ma for asking. I feel loved |
Good Morning mamas in the house. Please I have a little concern and need your urgent advice and suggestions. Three days ago when I return from work and wanted to bath, I noticed an unusual blood stain in my undies, not too small, not to big either. I was scared at first but I decided to watch it since it was the first time I'm experiencing something like that. Infact I had to go register for antenatal because of it. I intended registering at 13weeks, I'm 12weeks gone. I mentioned it to the Doctor yesterday and he didn't say much. After checking whatever he was checking he said the baby was fine. So I woke up this morning with a headache, stood up and drank water, few minutes later I noticed a quick discharge and when I wiped and I saw another blood. This has happened like five times this morning, I even had a blood stain on the toilet seat this morning when I went to pee. So I'm confused. I don't know what to think and I don't know what to do? Please kindly advice a FTM. I'm just 12weeks gone |
