A40: You're in denial. 73% of players in the league think MJ is the GOAT. But skinny jeans wearing hermit LeNomad fanboys are frothing in the mouth all over cyberspace like a camel in heat I'm very sure you listened to Shannon's argument on this so I'm not even going to comment |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:39pm On Apr 14, 2019 |
A40: I did use his playoff numbers but you can barely read so I'm not surprised.
The purpose of the image was to show how little Pippen contributed to the GOAT advancing the first round Captain Pedantic. 7pts, 10pts the issue is highlighting how infinitesimal Pippen's contributions were and reminding the world of Bronsexuals and their stewpid tendencies and burying the myth pushed for eons
There were also no active Bronsexuals like Nick Wright who inundate us with fake hype and noise about a player who has always needed two all-stars to win a ring
The NBA and ESPN has done an arguably better job hyping LeNomad but people are not fooled. The OG's like Ray Allen who was teammates with LeNomad and faced the GOAT in his latter years has on numerous occasions pointed Jordan as the GOAT, Larry Bird called him Jesus in Sneakers. The players of today have unanimously voted Jordan the GOAT but some codeine slurping hermit who has never stepped foot on a basketball court and couldn't dribble out of a wet brown paper bag thinks otherwise
The gulf is closing? Yes I agree. The perceived gulf between Kobe and LeNomad. Lmaooooo. What a joker! Even with LeNomad's most recent achievements fresh in memory what we are seeing is LeNomad is closer to Kobe than LeNomad is closer to the GOAT
Shut up!
You claimed Kyrie was doing Ingram numbers which was a bold faced lie else he would not have been a two time all-star before LeNomad came.
What I then said was arrival of LeNomad means no time for player development, which isn't even an indictment on LeNomad per se when you consider the circumstances critically but then the overzealous Bronsexual in you kicked in
A player that's already at all-star level by his 2nd and 3rd year. You need a seance to tell you he would keep improving by his 4th, 5th and 6th season when he would be entering his prime? Smh
It's not about asking, it's about enabling a toxic environment that makes it easier for the fall guy to get the axe. The fall guy being Walton.
Many teams are dealing with adversity all over the league. The Nuggets lost 3 of their starting 5 for long stretches too. The issue is there was a critical stage the season could have been salvaged and that was from LeNomad's return to the trade deadline. Anybody pining on another reason is just clutching to excuses
No list will ever be 100% satisfactory so migrate with your straw clutching. What we're telling you is that in every GOAT debate whether among analysts, casuals and the people who actually played the sport in these different eras, the only GOAT that has been constant whether via eye test or even analytics (despite playing in a non analytics era) is Jordan
The difference between the GOAT and that nomadic migrant imposter is that while LeNomad was gathering help from Kyrie and others to try and barely beat a jump shooting team whose best player was 6ft 3 and barely 180 pounds the GOAT was the Dragon.
The Cohiba smoking GOAT at 40 came back to the league in 02 and still dropped 23-6-5. I can only imagine how badly he would destroy this era of floppers where you can't even hand check ball handlers and guys like James Harden flop their way to the line every night
Karma is when you swear the GOAT played with plumbers only for LeNomad to get blocked at the buzzer by a European named Mario. Tough scene Damn, how can someone type this much about one player? Are you a typist or something? |

Hardetayour: you really don't watch NBA. Na stats u dey read.
Before Zubac was traded, who was starting BTW he, Javale and Tyson. If Javale was that good as u say, why was chandler closing games instead of Javale Bros, I watch the Lakers more than you, I can assure you that. Javale is by far our best offensive center, let's not even go there. Why Javale was benched is because he was recovering from pneumonia and was being eased back. Tyson closes games(especially tight games) because he's a more superior defender and rebounder, but he cannot score sh*t. That's why Zubac even played ahead of him when Javale was ill. |

Why not ask him where McGee would see 23 mins of time if the Lakers were a contender. Would McGee play that many mins for the Bucks, Raptors, Sixers or Rockets? Noe I see you're just fishing out hate speeches and not being objective. Before the season began, the Lakers were projected to fun sh 4th in the west. It was largely because of Javale that we were in 4th position before Lebron's injury. |

Javale McGee who couldn't run a pick n roll of which he now thanks to Steve Kerr, the assistant coach and Draymond. LeBron made Javale McGee better. Stop clowning and go read. Stats isn't everything. Lol, you know very well that in American sports, stats is everything. That's why every pundit refers to his stat sheet when analyzing a game or player. |

If Warriors hadn't given the guy a chance, u think he'll still be in the NBA today? Talmbout LeBron rejuvenating, keep suckling those balls bruh You're the bigger clown if you ask me. Someone that averaged 9.5 minutes per game and 4.8 points per game. Let me put that into perspective for you. This is Javale's fifteenth season in the league and this is the season he has averaged his highest points per game, 12.0, and he's doing it at 23 minutes per game. You say warriors. The warriors kill centers if you don't know. Cousins is packing his bag after this season. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 9:29pm On Apr 08, 2019 |
A40: Story. You can't even prove LeNomad is responsible for his good long 2 shooting. Merely judging by the larger sample size it's obvious LeNomad is likelier to be blamed and involved in KCP'S bad 3pt shooting (which I never did anyway, till you tried to credit LeNomad for a good game KCP had) than KCP's good long 2 shooting
I have brought out singular games and if you add those singular games up it makes my point glossier. All you have done is jumble incoherent stats that you cannot even prove LeNomad influenced. Prove LeNomad directly influenced the 39 makes from 16ft to just behind the 3pt line. I just showed you a game he attempted 3 and made 2 You're funny o. You just watched one game, probably only the highlights, and you're making your conclusions. I've watched the Lakers the whole season and I'm convinced Lebron has made everyone better. Just look at JaVale for instance, who ever thought he could play this way? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:17pm On Apr 08, 2019 |
After missing 18 games with a groin injury, Lebron still managed to average 27ppg even while his groin wasn't fully healed. Truly the KING. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:14pm On Apr 08, 2019 |
A40: Noooooooo. the spirit of LeNomad entered his soul and suddenly he acquired the ability to make long two's. That's why he was able to make 2 last night from 3 attempts even in LeNomad's absence
What makes your point all the more laughable. You're crediting a guy that has missed 26 games for KCP's stat that rounds out at less than 0.5 makes per game. Yet the larger sample size of 3's you're disclaiming because it doesn't favor your guy. This is clowning at its peak
In other news KCP torched the Jazz last night sans LeNomad Just the same way you're trying to blame Lebron for KCP's poor 3 shooting and not credit him for KCP's good long 2 shooting. If a grown man fails to make open 3s, it's not Lebron's fault. Good for him if he made 2 long twos yesterday or torched the Jazz, everybody has his day. It seams all you can do is bring out singular games and incidents to buttress your invalid points |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:38am On Apr 08, 2019 |
A40: Lmaooo are you hearing yourself at all? Someone made 37 long two's out of 80 games and you're here writing long story about LeNomad. Do you know what that computes to?
E say substantial amount. Hehehehe he's making less than .5 long two's per game so come and tell me more about how this double teaming is helping the teammates and why it's not reflecting on his 3pt shooting
Can you even prove that those two's came with LeNomad in the lineup? Chale stop wasting my time Biko You're here whining about the amount, and I'm telling you he's making 49% as opposed to 35% last season. Do you think he just suddenly got better at the long twos? Even Curry that has played almost twice as many minutes as KCP has made only 64 long twos, which is less than one per game. And he's making it at 43% which is less than KCP's 49. Guy, I don tire for this your argument. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:29pm On Apr 07, 2019 |
A40: You're just yarning megedefegede. The point is stop giving LeNomad credit for any improvement with KCP if you will not give him blame for his decline as well.
I knew he was making it at a higher percentage. The page shows the percentage Captain Obvious. My point is the fewer longer 2's you take the likelier you are to be more efficient with it. Common sense!
Are you comparing the drop in longer two's to the drop in shots at the rim? What is your point exactly? Are you disputing the fact that cutting down long 2's generally improve a player's efficiency? Or that KCP has been doing that over the last 3 seasons. He's still making a substantial amount of long twos, so whether it reduced or not is not relevant. It also tells that he is probably taking more good look and open twos rather than just taking any shot that comes his way. This is as a result of the double-teaming on Lebron which will make KCP and other teammates freer. Don't you get it? If he goes on at that rate, it will still be 49%. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:49am On Apr 07, 2019 |
A40: Leave rim matter and focus on the matter at hand. Someone has provided you Garri, you're still asking for Cassava.
The most impactful boost to his FG% over the last two years consisted of him cutting down on long 2's, since this has been unearthed stop taking us back to any rim matter that does nothing for the debate whether right or wrong Lol. It's now about long twos abi, no more rim matter. But as his long twos reduced, so did his going to the rim, which kind of balances it out . And did you know that he is making 49% of his long twos (16ft to 3pt line) this year as opposed to 35% last year, which happens to be his best shot type compared to all the other distances apart from at the rim. Bro, your argument holds no water. I've told you to stop reading stats cos it's clear you don't know how to analyze them. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 12:16am On Apr 07, 2019 |
A40: Is this your fallback plan? The original argument is LeNomad should not get credit for KCP'S play (which has not been anything to shout about anyway) but it's been purely down to him. The rim bants you're on about is just you obfuscating the matter.
If you like you can keep clutching at straws. What is evident is KCP taking less longer 2's has improved his efficiency ever so slightly.
Evidence suggests that he's been progressively taking fewer of these shots before LeNomad entered the picture. Hian, look at the stats again. You claimed KCP is going to the rim more this season thus the 2pt% surge. But the stats say otherwise. He went to the rim more last season than this season. Do we at least agree on this one? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 9:51pm On Apr 06, 2019 |
A40: WTF? What would you credit LeNomad for next? Electricity? This is such a nonsense take its not even funny. Any thinking Basketballer should not be taking that many long 2's to start with.
In 2016/2017 he took 172 long 2's, it dropped to 126 in 2017/2018. This should tell you that the tendency is simply being coached out of his game not any yeye LeNomad factor
The lack of consistency is what nauseates me with you lot. I have pointed to Kuzma and KCP shooting worse from 3's *crickets* you're now attributing someone taking fewer long 2's to playing with LeNomad. When analytics and everything else is simply coaching the long 2 out of shooter's games Mr statistics, do you even know how to read statistics? |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:30pm On Apr 06, 2019 |
A40: Lool what proof do you need? We have established the fact LeNomad improving shooters is myth and urban legend as evidenced by your volume 3p shooters (Kuzma,KCP) experiencing a steep decline in their percentage
We have gleaned that what might be largely responsible for KCP's infinitesimal increase in field goal percentage is merely the reduction in the number of long 2's he takes so what else are you saying? Eh, I want you to link me to the website that told you he is taking less long twos. Or drop a screenshot like me |

A40: Enter Basketball Reference and update yourself. The stats are there waiting for you Let me help you. Last season, KCP attempted 2.5 shots per game from less than 10 ft and made 1.6. This season, he's attempting 1.9 per game and making 1.2. As you can clearly see from the photos. If you were a pundit you'd just be feeding your audience with nothing but made up lies.
