There was no way on God's green earth the Lakers were gonna let Pat Bev laugh at them twice. I guess it's no more over his dead body And Austin Reaves hit Pat Bev with that "too small" gesture too

birdman: I was hoping they delayed Lebron coming back, but Lakers were due to lose one anyways. They had to integrate him at some point. The earlier the better. I'm sure they didn't want to wait till the Lakers are out of contention, if not what's the point? |

Luka is even missing next game. Mavs are cooked Imagine being an average defensive team and then you trade your best defenders for a guy who plays zero D. Worst is that Kyrie could walk at the end of the year. Anyway, the Lakers would be here to scoop Luka when they break it all up |

I saw this loss coming from the 1st quarter. We never looked engaged. And LeBron's integration took away some of our aggressiveness. We go again on Wednesday. |

Westbrick [Skip]
The best addition is DLO, followed by Vander, then, snipper Beasley....
DLO makes all pieces to come together... I would have said Dlo but he hasn't played enough games. |

birdman: They have also been getting better under the new coach. Even before the trades, they were going on streaks. I think people make too much of the trade - there was no game changer in those trades Lol. You see am? You say there was no game changer in the trade. So Vanderbilt hasn't made them better defensively? |

birdman: I have heard all kinds of talks. He knows where to give the superstars the ball... He understands the rhythm of the game... He does the little things... Etc Etc...
Yet the guy man dey average 7pts, 7 rebounds as a PF on a team that has weapons that should free him u p.
What you guys dont realize is you what you are describing exists in many other power forwards. And there are at least a dozen better PFs in the league now than Draymond. They just didnt have the opportunity to play with an all time great like Curry. See ehn, Curry is quiet, and sells himself short, and it makes him look less than he really is. At the same time, it makes his teammates look bigger than they really are.
Was Klay really better than say Beal? Was Barnes really that good a small forward?
Why then are you ascribing all this to Draymond, just for being lucky to be in the right organization with an unselfish all time great? This is the same Dray that GS fans swear that if not for his suspension in 2016, GS would have closed the deal against the Cavs in 6. There are players that their impact doesn't show in the box score and Dray is the best example of such players. Did Rodman's impact show in the box score? Rodman even averaged fewer points than Dray is averaging. Look at Vanderbilt at Lakers and tell me he's not making an impact because he's not averaging 18 and 10. Dray has one of the highest IQs in basketball. And he is by far the best defensive player on that team. Abeg if Warriors no want am make e come Lakers. We go appreciate am better. |

birdman: The guy who makes the warriors run never talks. Dre is nowhere near as good as people rate him. On any other team, he would be a bench player You people underrate Dray too much and it wants to make me mad. But I'll say this, without Dray, the Warriors would have only 2 championships. I would have said 0 but the KD Warriors were just too stacked to feel the absence of Dray. Dray is the engine of that team and Kerr knows it. That's why he keeps getting away with all the atrocities he's been committing. |

So the Warriors went 7-4 without Steph. I can't think of another team that can have such record with their best player out. That team is a super duper team. I'd have to question them if they don't win it all this season. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:17am On Mar 04, 2023 |
birdman: No, pls dont say this. That was a grown man's game back then. The size and way they played make it look deceptively slow, but it wasnt. Go time those Larry Bird jumpers. He looked slow, could barely jump. But time it and see where he releases from, and compare it with KD.
Speed is not the most important thing in a game. I would argue its not even skill. Its the grown man mindset which is lacking today. Outside of a few shining stars like Lebron, Durant, Curry, Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, we got stars that are OK with missing half the season just because they dont feel too good. Kawhi, AD etc all skilled, but soft like charmin. Soft. Dont care how fast they are, they soft. If they dropping 40pts on your @ss at half time and get to 70, you soft. Trifling as well. Rockets Im looking at you Yea, another PHYSICALITY merchant |

What a comeback from the Nets. They may not be the best offensive team in the league but that team is stacked with defenders that can get stops regularly. |
