Afromentalist:And it's ironic because they have the league's rebounding leader. |
The Kings have fought a good fight. They'll live to fight another day. |
What looked like a low scoring quarter suddenly burst the floodgates open. |
The Heat are going to take this one. |
birdman:I wouldn't go that far, but he made some nice adjustments, one of which is taking Beasley out of the rotation (although i expected it to come since game 3 or 4). I thought he was going to replace him with Lonnie Walker but he gave his minutes to Wenyen. Kudos to him. |
Impressive win for the Lakers. Not just the game but the series. They came into this series as the underdogs having grinded their way into the playoffs via the play-in. We've come a long way, from that 2-10 start to now being in the conference semifinals. I'll take it. |

Austin Reaves cooking. DLo cooking. |
If Vando can keep knocking down them corner threes moving forward then this team can be more dangerous. |
Reports have it that Mike Budenholzer's brother died in a car accident during the Bucks/Heat series. |
Android17:So you saying they're better without Ja? |
Looks like we're favouring that Russle/AD PnR tonight. Let's see how Taylor Jenkins counters that. |
We never even reach second round baba don they cook agenda. You go dey alright las las. Just drink water ![]() |
Chase Center is dead quiet. Onto game 7. |
Android17:Didn't Ja miss like the last 3 games of that series or am I tripping? |
The refs are allowing a lot of calls in this game. Normally that Keegan Murray dunk is an and-1. |
Honlucas:I hope so. Because this Memphis team is deadly. You can't even score in the paint when JJJ is there. He's the DPOY for a reason. We need good production from jump shooters. LeBron has been atrocious from 3 in this series. Na God go save us. |
Just imagine it was LeBron who fumbled that last play instead of Giannis. It would have been WW3 on the Internet ![]() |
With the Bucks out, and one each of the Celtics/Sixers and Suns/Nuggets going out in the next round, we can confidently say that the thing is wide open. Any team can win this championship. I'll still favour the Suns slightly though, that team na super team. And P.S, the Heat are a difficult matchup for any team. I know what I saw in the Bubble ![]() |
Skrrrrrrr:Lol. All you need is to add a superstar to those guys and you're good |
Skrrrrrrr:Those are protective apparatus, not things to minimise your pain ![]() |
Skrrrrrrr:Hope you won't switch teams when that time comes sha ![]() |
Skrrrrrrr:Or he has a broken finger, lol |
I come in here and I'm greeted with this one spewing trash again. When will this end? |
Looks like this one is going to game 6 at least |
Coming from someone who calls a human being Ajala. For those who don't speak Yourba, Ajala means Disaster. Sit this one out bro. |
Ice Trey called game |
FBS:It's amazing how people just forget that LeBron is 38 years old. I don't know whether they do that intentionally just so they can have an argument, or maybe they think being 38 in the NBA is normal. |
birdman:That was the most passionate roar I've ever seen LeBron make. It was like all the memories of all his playoff exploits down the years just flashed in his head. I had goosebumps |
For those of you who have been belittling this Grizzlies team on this forum, can you just stop now? It doesn't speak well of your basketball knowledge. That team is a very good team. That's the 2nd seed we're talking about for heaven's sake. Just stop. As for the game, I knew Memphis were coming for the Lakers tonight. When we think we've slowed Ja down, Bane pops up. When Rui missed that dunk and Bane made a transition layup, I just put off my TV and was preparing for game 5. But I said let me see what Darvin Ham would cook for the final possession so I put it back on Lo and behold, I see LeBron driving to the basket to make the layup. To be fair, LeBron was the last person I thought was going to take that last shot, not with JJJ and Tillman camping in the paint.Glad we pulled through. Let's get our sh*t together for game 5. |
LeBron really used what's left of his old man strength first to tie the game and then make two huge buckets in overtime. Add that game tying shot to his long list of clutch buckets in the playoffs. |
Basketball is 48 minutes actually, in case we forgot. |
