LeBron has taken almost 200 fewer free throws than Embiid despite taking 100 more shots in the restricted area.

Tellwhat:Lol This particular stat is indisputable, no stat machine can miss it. But you see stats like defensive rating, they are very subjective. Different stat machines have different criteria for it. So it's best to stick with the stat the NBA website gives you for those. As for LeBron, what more do people want? His own longevity is coming with greatness. Like how does a 37 year old in his 19th season lead the NBA in scoring, shooting over 50% from the field and adding 8 rebounds and 6 assists. By the time LeBron retires, he'll be top ten in points, rebounds and assists. Top 5 in points and assists. As for the Lakers title hopes, na God hand e dey But it all boils down to having a fit and in-form AD. Without that we don't even have a chance. But make we even make the playoffs first ![]() |
Following his 50-point game, LeBron now leads the league in scoring. 37 years old. Year 19. Enough said.

Here's one for our Statmuse lovers ![]()
|
LeBron with another 50 piece. As if we needed more evidence ![]() GOAT |
I've heard enough boxing jokes today. I honestly can't take more Peace |
Lol, someone actually thinks you lose defensive points if you don't play And all he has been doing here is word of mouth. He doesn't want to show us where Luka is leading the NBA in defensive ratings. Let's even assume we take Statmuse seriously. Statmuse said CP is the leader in defensive rating, but him, sitting on his couch in whatever godforsaken city, is saying Luka has passed CP. This level of obstinacy though. |
Tellwhat:And CP3 is still the leader there. On Basketball reference Steph is 2nd and CP first. Nowhere is Luka first. |
Tellwhat:Is this not stat muse, or what is that website called? Go to the official NBA website if you want NBA stat. |
Tellwhat:Do well to go through the list yourself, other point guards who have played heavy minutes are ranked above him. |
felix00:Oga, on that list, Steph, Pat Bev, Cam Payne, Klye Lowry, CP3, Derrick White, to name a few, all rank above him. |
Las las no be everybody normal for here ![]() |
If you like speak all the grammar wey dey dictionary.
|
benji93:Lol. I'd be surprised if I didn't know you. I no get time for these semantics jare |
benji93:Baba, show me exactly what you pointed out and work your own maths let's see. |
Tellwhat:This is Luka Doncic ranked 254 with a defensive rating of 108.2. Don't believe everything they tell you on this thread.
|
benji93:Lol. Everybody look my maths respect themselves keep quiet, na only you wan argue. |
Baba say Tyson was technical Guy, why una still dey argue with this guy? |
It's the same people bashing this era that will still open mouth and say Steph Curry is a top 3 point guard of all time. Some of them even swear he has surpassed Magic and Isaiah. You can't eat your cake and have it o. What works for the goose works for the gander also. |
Lol. People shitting of Fury in this thread make me laugh. How many boxers of old were actually technically gifted. They were mostly hard hitters with poor fundamentals and a decent tank. Frasier, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, name them. In the old days where we only cared about watching heavyweights because every other weight class offered little. Today you can bet there's at least 4-5 top dawgs in every weight class. Abeg ×3 make we hear word. |
joshboo:Pick your struggle. You people said it's 3s that this era is known for. So how did Giannis and Joker win MVP? By shooting 3s? Embiid would probably win MVP this year and it won't be because of 3s. |
joshboo:It's easy for you people to say an oldie would mop the floor with a new generation guy, but when we return the favour you think we're bluffing. What is your proof that Ali would beat Fury? |
They said players today are bigger, stronger and faster, pesin bring average height comot. Is it not common knowledge that players of old were taller? Lol. It's a plus to this era that these players are doing great things despite their height. |
Tellwhat:It's just like saying basketballers of the 50s and 60s were better than basketballers of the 80s and 90s. Does that even make sense? And to prove their point they'll bring up the cream of the crop like Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell and say because those guys are top 10 all time, nothing else matters. Bill Russell won virtually all the championships in that era while Wilt won every personal accolade. Why? Because there was no competition. That lack of competition extended into the 80s and 90s, although it reduced a bit along the line. Those guys were good no doubt, but are you telling me Bill Russell wins 11 championships in this era? Will Wilt win 7 scoring titles and 11 rebounding titles in this era? Would MJ win 10 scoring titles in this era? The answer is an emphatic NO. As great a scorer as KD is, he has been able to win just 4, and he has played as many years as MJ played. Steph Curry, whom they say shoots a ton of 3s and so should be scoring so many points, has only 2 scoring titles. Nobody in this era is going to watch anybody win 10 scoring titles in 13 years. |
When someone says Sugar Ray would have mopped the floor with Canelo, it's best you don't listen to whatever else he has to say about sports. You can never tame that obstinacy. |
donlittle25:Oga that's not how this maths works. One person is shooting 2s while the other is shooting 3s. Don't make it as if one is shooting 3s while the other is shooting neither 2s nor 3s. I saw one rubbish math someone put up here just to mislead people. If both Tatum and Bird shoot 20 shots per game (and assuming they make all), but Tatum shoots 8 threes and Bird shoots only 3, that accounts for 5 more points than Bird. (2×17) + (3×3)= 34+9 = 43 for Bird (2×12) + (3×8 )= 24+24 = 48 for Tatum And for your info, Bird averaged 0.7 made threes per game for his career. Tatum is averaging 2.2. That accounts for less than 2 more points. Tatum's record for most 3s in a game is 9. Bird is 7, twice. And who knows whether he had his 50+ points in either of those games. So I really don't see the fuss about 3 point shooting. |
birdman:Whenever arguments about era comes up, they quickly bring up the usual clichés like 3 point shooting and rule changes. Talking about Tatum averages 5 more threes than Bird did. If he averages 5 more threes, does that not equate to just 5 points? The way they make it seem like one three is worth 5 points more than two. Leave these cats abeg, they know the truth. They just want to protect their fave. Anybody who knows basketball would know that this era is way more talented than the past. The superstars will be superstars, no matter the era, so we can't start talking about how LeBron would have fared in the past or how MJ would fare in this era. They'd all be dominant. It's the not so superstars we're talking about. You have guys like Jason Tatum, whom many don't consider a superstar yet, having performances that would make him an automatic superstar in eras past. Wasn't it Trey Young who couldn't even make all-star with 29 and 9? There's a proliferation of talent in the tiers below the superstar cadre. Although most of the all time greats of the past era were good, their status were improved by the fact that they won a lot of personal accolades and championships. But how wouldn't they win everything when there was really no competition. The gap between the very best and the rest was massive. Back then you had the top tier, and then the rest were average, with a little athleticism to make it look like they actually can play. Today I could give you a 10 tier list of players with Kyrie in tier 5 and Donovan Mitchell in tier 7. That's how competitive it is now. |
Tatum really dropped 54 on KD's head. Y'all thought I was gonna let that slide huh ![]() |
So at 24, Tatum has already matched Larry Bird's record of most 50 point games for the Celtics. Let me not talk before I start another argument about which era is greater than which. |
aliondo:Yea he's putting up nice stats. That speaks to his greatness. But he's 37. He can't carry a team at this age. AD being out and Westbrook being trash certainly didn't help. |
This my LeBron sha. Make I no too talk. Adjectives don finish. Refs decided to give my boy free throws today. We should be running away with that scoring title by now if they weren't all stupid. |
The tanking is in full effect now
