As in keeping composure, staying in the game and not getting blown out. We have a really young team that gets star struck when they see superstars on other teams. At this point, we just want them to execute on a nightly basis without falling apart. On any given night, any of the lottery teams has a shot at upsetting a powerhouse. We beat the Bulls to start this win streak. We are not even looking at playoffs right now grin
KD and Aldridge are not going to play sef.

Rockets have had an easy schedule, so no one is really talking about a 6 game win streak. After all we lost 15 straight at one point. But the X-Os have improved, and tonight is a good test against the Nets. And welcome home Harden, get yourself some real TexMex down here. Those NYC burritos are rubbish, and you know it grin
Test as in to know if they're a championship team? grin Lol. Their test is supposed to be against lottery teams like them.

Stephen A. really has some of the most blasphemous basketball takes.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 6:39am On Dec 08, 2021
Nice win tonight. Still a lot of room for improvement, but there were some good signs. I thought Westbrook really put in work defensively to go with a good offensive game. Let's hope for a little more consistency.

Your map of the world is not the only map in the world. There are 7.9 billion other maps. Quit talking down on people and show some respect boy!

Lebron saying his Bubble ring was his most difficult ring was not necessarily because of the Heats. The emotional torture and existential fear of the year's corona pandemic and the stressful conditions of the Bubble itself and how all these affected him and stretched him to his limits as an athlete was what he was referring to.

Saying Iggy's MVP was not because he defended Lebron well is a blatant lie. Without Iggy shutting down Lebron in that series nobody would have awarded him any MVP, take that to the bank.

Your other points remind me of the recent Messi and Ronaldo fanboys ballon d'or argument - pure bias points against the one you 'hate'. Just emotions.
That dude always comes in here angry. I've learnt to avoid him o grin

Steph won one without KD, so your last point just comes across as hating. Steph won 2 games in the finals against the Raptors without Klay and KD and his support cast now is way better than those he had for that finals series.
IMHO GSW will need Wiseman and Klay to win it all which leans into the point you were making in the first paragraph and the first part of the second.
Why wouldn't he win when he got the best handicap possible? And which game did Steph win against Raptors without Klay? Please check well. The first game Klay got injured is the only game Steph won, and Klay played 32 mins in that game. But that's besides the point. The point is we've not really seen this Warriors system without KD overcome adversity. In the first year, they just had to win against a Cavs without Kyrie and Love. LeBron on his own won two games, imagine what would have been with those two. Second year, we saw the meltdown. Third and fourth year they had KD. Fifth year without KD, although Klay missed a game, Raptors were always in control of that series.

Oh Rookie wiseman will get some minutes. So hopefully we have the big man issue covered. Nobody talk say this Golden state team fit bulldoze through the west with Stephen Curry only. Anybody wey talk that just wan bant. We will get Klay at at least 85% and Rookie Wiseman. I only need him to dominate sorry AD. cheesy. Besides between a group of veterans led by a counterfeit GOAT(na only say i still dey respect say he may just still something left) and this GSW team i no know who go get fatigue problem. grin. You better aim at 4th, 5th, 6th place, because na easy sweep be that, in which somewhere along the line, AD go tell us say him dey vomit, get stomach issues. I no know wetin that man dey chop. cheesy. Hopefully, God spares our lives. That post-season you insist on is not too far away.

I have some time today. Did somebory just say the Golden state pattern is unsustainable? You mean a team that's currently 18-4. And another friend of mine supports that take. Oh certainly not over a 7 game series. Are you seeing what i am seeing people? What would it take you to at least assume that a team currently 18-4 may just be that good? Continue. grin
If you want to quote me, quote me, stop going through the corners grin Regular season record means little in this league. Ask the Bucks and Jazz. GS thrives on great movement off the ball. What I observed from them is that they use all their energy in the first 3 quarters with all that running around that they do. And they usually are gassed by the 4th. If the game is tight going into the 4th, it would be a problem. I've seen this happen twice already in the last 3 games. Last night for example Steph didn't score a single point in the last 8:45 minutes. Tell me it had nothing to do with fatigue. I wouldn't mind playing this Warriors in a series o. Shebi na shoot dem wan dey shoot. Dem go shoot tire. But hope you're coming with your rim/paint protection.

In the post season when the game slows down, or when it's crunch time and it's time for one on one basketball, when everybody freezes and your superstar has the ball in his hand, can you count on Steph to take you home? That was what KD was there for in those years. As good as Steph is, I don't think he's that guy.

The Lakers intend to start Dwight Howard against the Clippers and use only one center per game going forward. I want to see a rotation of AD and Dwight at the center. Given that LeBron can play and has played the center position in spurts this season, I think this is the right decision. Plus Ariza is on his way back to add more size in that front court.

So the NBA quickly went to unschedule the Lakers vs Clippers from national broadcast after learning LeBron had COVID, replacing it with Lakers/Timberwolves. Now LeBron is back I wonder if they're regretting that decision.

The Warriors jam rock today. Man the Suns are a well drilled team. I wouldn't want to play them at all, especially in that their arena. No Booker and it didn't even mean a thing. Their tactics got Kerr sending Draymond to do post ups. Steph was outshined by CP3. Steph was a game low -17 while CP was a game high +21. Let's hope Stephen A will talk about it the way he talked about AD when he was outshined by Giannis or the way he praised Steph when he outshined KD and the Nets. But he wont; Steph is a golden boy after all smiley.

Meanwhile, a sweet payback by my Lakers on the Kings. That blowout was necessary for all those who were talking trash about the Lakers in my absence grin
I talk am grin Stephen A handed the golden boy an easy pass. Talmbout last night was an aberration, that he'll never shoot as bad as that again. Hell yeah he won't. We're not disputing that, but that doesn't change the fact that he stunk yesterday. Trust me if it was CP3 who stunk last night we'll never hear the end of it. These media fanboys pick and choose who to castigate. We sabi their way.

......Listen, first off, i am glad you said that the morris brother are known for dirty play,so they should taste what they dish, and maybe a little more, what is happening is bigger than what you saw....What Morris did, is trying to roughen Jokic up a little bit and act like nothing happened, trying to get him off his rhythm, i love the message Jokic sent back....I am no punk.....As regards the lebron saga...first of, lebron is not known to play dirty, secondly, if you watch that play, you would see that Isiah had his hand on Lebrons back/Rib cage, it is only natural to shake that hand off you, also Lebron went over to apologize immediately, but isiah was not having it. Also, who told you that because isiah was running towards lebron, he would be able to injure....lmao.....I need the old school basketball men......Them days of Oakley, pistons.... grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Jokic will be hard fouled many more times in this league by many more players. So there's no message he sent. Trust me if he does what he did the last time he's getting more games than he got the last time.

It's ironic how you're a proponent of hard plays and yet you want people to retaliate whenever they're the victim. Why can't they play on and wait for their own moment to pay back? At least that would be better. Instead of bitching around and attacking someone behind his back.

....a little taste of their own medicine(morris brothers), do not dish what you can not take.....lmao..He got what he deserved....
That's terrible of you to say. Even though the Morris brothers are known for dirty plays, they've never caused anyone to miss multiple games through injury. Two wrongs cannot make a right.. Will you be saying this if Stewart for instance got through to LeBron and injured him and made him miss multiple games? A wrong or hard basketball play is different from a blatant act of non-basketball violence, and we don't condone that.
