Ómó, Lakers bad o

birdman:
|
FG% this season: Steph Curry 43.9% Westbrook 45% |
birdman:KD and Aldridge are not going to play sef. |
birdman:Test as in to know if they're a championship team? Lol. Their test is supposed to be against lottery teams like them. |
Stephen A. really has some of the most blasphemous basketball takes. |
Nice win tonight. Still a lot of room for improvement, but there were some good signs. I thought Westbrook really put in work defensively to go with a good offensive game. Let's hope for a little more consistency. |
Westbrook having a good night so far. |
AD is a little off the pace in this game. Something is not right. |
Man, this our defense can't stop a nose bleed...using Kendrick Perkins' words. |
darkelf:Lol. If you think Westbrook is the Lakers problem then you haven't been watching enough basketball |
DeeMain:That dude always comes in here angry. I've learnt to avoid him o ![]() |
Khanben:Why wouldn't he win when he got the best handicap possible? And which game did Steph win against Raptors without Klay? Please check well. The first game Klay got injured is the only game Steph won, and Klay played 32 mins in that game. But that's besides the point. The point is we've not really seen this Warriors system without KD overcome adversity. In the first year, they just had to win against a Cavs without Kyrie and Love. LeBron on his own won two games, imagine what would have been with those two. Second year, we saw the meltdown. Third and fourth year they had KD. Fifth year without KD, although Klay missed a game, Raptors were always in control of that series. |
benji93:I laughed hard when I read this ![]() |
benji93:If you want to quote me, quote me, stop going through the corners Regular season record means little in this league. Ask the Bucks and Jazz. GS thrives on great movement off the ball. What I observed from them is that they use all their energy in the first 3 quarters with all that running around that they do. And they usually are gassed by the 4th. If the game is tight going into the 4th, it would be a problem. I've seen this happen twice already in the last 3 games. Last night for example Steph didn't score a single point in the last 8:45 minutes. Tell me it had nothing to do with fatigue. I wouldn't mind playing this Warriors in a series o. Shebi na shoot dem wan dey shoot. Dem go shoot tire. But hope you're coming with your rim/paint protection. In the post season when the game slows down, or when it's crunch time and it's time for one on one basketball, when everybody freezes and your superstar has the ball in his hand, can you count on Steph to take you home? That was what KD was there for in those years. As good as Steph is, I don't think he's that guy. |
benji93:No vex naw. Na analyse he analyse, he no kill person I know say you no like make dem talk negative about your darling team |
This Golden State's pattern is not sustainable sha. Just my observation. |
Man, Lavine and DeRozan are straight killers. This east wey everybody been run go, e no go easy as dem see am o Meanwhile, peek Steph Always disappearing in crunch time.

The Lakers intend to start Dwight Howard against the Clippers and use only one center per game going forward. I want to see a rotation of AD and Dwight at the center. Given that LeBron can play and has played the center position in spurts this season, I think this is the right decision. Plus Ariza is on his way back to add more size in that front court.

I can swear I've seen this photo in this thread before Perhaps a member of this thread.

So the NBA quickly went to unschedule the Lakers vs Clippers from national broadcast after learning LeBron had COVID, replacing it with Lakers/Timberwolves. Now LeBron is back I wonder if they're regretting that decision. |
The Suns play tonight? Damn. And then they travel to the Bay to play Golden State tomorrow. And GS would be rested for 3 days. Plus no Booker. Na wah o. GS should win this easily. |

steady986:I talk am Stephen A handed the golden boy an easy pass. Talmbout last night was an aberration, that he'll never shoot as bad as that again. Hell yeah he won't. We're not disputing that, but that doesn't change the fact that he stunk yesterday. Trust me if it was CP3 who stunk last night we'll never hear the end of it. These media fanboys pick and choose who to castigate. We sabi their way. |

The Warriors jam rock today. Man the Suns are a well drilled team. I wouldn't want to play them at all, especially in that their arena. No Booker and it didn't even mean a thing. Their tactics got Kerr sending Draymond to do post ups. Steph was outshined by CP3. Steph was a game low -17 while CP was a game high +21. Let's hope Stephen A will talk about it the way he talked about AD when he was outshined by Giannis or the way he praised Steph when he outshined KD and the Nets. But he wont; Steph is a golden boy after all . Meanwhile, a sweet payback by my Lakers on the Kings. That blowout was necessary for all those who were talking trash about the Lakers in my absence ![]() |
Blueelf:Who be this one? |
Khanben:These things don't happen every game. Chill |
SmooshCHN:Lol. You funny o. You dey quote street saying for basketball. Oya make everybody pull shirt begin fight na, since na street dem dey . Or make dem adopt NHL rules make we know say fighting dey legal. |
carbonado:Jokic will be hard fouled many more times in this league by many more players. So there's no message he sent. Trust me if he does what he did the last time he's getting more games than he got the last time. It's ironic how you're a proponent of hard plays and yet you want people to retaliate whenever they're the victim. Why can't they play on and wait for their own moment to pay back? At least that would be better. Instead of bitching around and attacking someone behind his back. |
birdman:Nobody dey fear them. Dem don dey cool down sef. |
carbonado:That's terrible of you to say. Even though the Morris brothers are known for dirty plays, they've never caused anyone to miss multiple games through injury. Two wrongs cannot make a right.. Will you be saying this if Stewart for instance got through to LeBron and injured him and made him miss multiple games? A wrong or hard basketball play is different from a blatant act of non-basketball violence, and we don't condone that. |
