Giannis with 4 fouls. This will be the only way the Celtics win this game.

SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 7:10pm On May 01, 2022
Looks like both teams recognize the elite interior defense they're going up against. They've decided to beat each other form the three point line.

Meanwhile, Marcus Smart just left the court with what looks like a shoulder injury.

He deserves every criticism he can get after saying that nonsense about not needing a coach. I am not a big fan, and he is quite the diva

You are not going to be launching threes against a team that knows how to slow the ball down like phoenix especially with CP3 at the point. The game will slow down, and i am just concerned. Anyways, i am glad jalen and spencer is playing well on the team, and i hope they come up big against phoenix.
There's actually blood in the water. The question is whether Dallas can smell it. They can take a thing or two away from the Suns/Pelicans series. I still fancy Suns sha. With Booker back, it would be difficult.

Did you watch the game? at the point roland and i posted this, it was just come down and launch a three and same thing on the other end. No ball movement. we lived by that three.

my issue with the dallas team is we don’t have anyone that can play the midrange game well when threes are not dropping. We are lacking that something the celtics have in tatum and jaylen. Not saying doncic can’t do that though, but he seems to settle for more threes and it will come a time in the playoffs we’re it will be our undoing

Anyways, with the way you responded, i am sure you did not watch the game. How many teams have won championships recently shooting threes like that apart from the warriors. i will wait
Lol. I watched the game. Perhaps you were talking about the last 2-3 minutes of the game. Did you watch that time Doncic tried to take Gobert on the dribble and came up short? If na you, you go do am again? And why shoot midranges when you're not that good at it? As for the Jazz, they always needed a three to close the gap so I can't blame them.
SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:42pm On Apr 29, 2022

Honestly the amount of 3's was ridiculous to
Say the least, but Rudy gobert is a big factor on how they played. But make dem disband that jazz team, always underperforming come post season.
They place so much worth on D. Mitch and Gobert. Those guys are 2nd and 3rd options at best on a championship team.

i they vex. just 3 points everywhere. no one is controlling the tempo of the game.
As if shooting 3s is not part of the game. Don't they make plays to create those shots? It's not as if every time, they just walk up the court and take ill-advised 3s. If it's their strategy then it seems to be working. They shot 39.5% in this game. Not bad if you ask me. When you play against one of the best rim protectors in the game you have to adjust your strategy.

Second round games in the west would be a battle for sure. I want to see Dallas play the Suns. I think they're a better matchup for them than the Jazz.

no sir, that is not good enough. How many Kyrie to Durant passes or screens did you see? That was not a team, just individual pieces. Thats because they have only had less than a month to actually firm up that rotation. So , yeah its majorly on Kyrie.

I'm not saying Durant doesnt have some blame, but of all the culprits, the guy showed up! I dont see how you can blame Durant over Harden, or Kyrie.
You'll have to blame Nash for that one. He probably was the one who gave them the go-ahead to play iso ball.

Durant showed up from day 1. No drama, pure professionalism. They entered playoffs as a low seed because 2 out of 3 stars players weren't as committed. KD deserves some shielding. Kyrie needs to account - after all that drama, no production
Bros, leave that matter. That one na old story. The bottomline is Kyrie was available in the playoffs. He was even balling in the games preceding the playoffs, dropping 50 and 40 balls here and there. So he was ready to go in that playoffs, same with KD. They lost this series because KD didn't show up, plain and simple. Not because Kyrie missed 3/4 of the season.

Okokobioko. This is a new one

SportsRe: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:24pm On Apr 26, 2022
As expected, Stephen A blasts Kyrie more than he blasts KD. Go ahead and blame the sidekick more than the alpha. I knew he was going to be slick in finding a way to shield KD.

LMAO, But seriously Kyrie has been feasting on that finals shot he made 6years ago. Since then he has done nothing of note in the league
His rent has expired. He needs to renew it with a new shot for us to conclude he's that guy.

MVP will still show why he is MVP bro but
Draymond slowed him down in this series and that's impressive to me. It's like the effect P.J.Tucker has on bigger players defensively, it's praise-worthy.
This PJ Tucker wey una dey always call, shebi I don dispute this narrative for here before grin I gave you KD's numbers and that of AD in 2020. The cream of the crop will always eat against smaller players. And most of the time, these smaller players either foul out or are on the brink of fouling out because of their lack of size. Dray fouled out this game, in game 3 he had 5 fouls.

Not stop literally, but how he is able to hamper their play or make them play outside their comfort zone.
I agree. Dray is a menace no doubt. But even Dray himself said after game 3, "he (Jokic) got the better of me tonight". But like you said, he make it harder for Jokic.

Nuggets nicks it.

How Draymond Green is able to stop Jokic and other guys much bigger than him in this NBA is baffling. Respect.
Did he really stop Jokic though?
