chic2pimp: LOOL...What other reasons do you want?
Team Record CHECK Individual Record CHECK Plays Offense CHECK Plays Defence CHECK
He is easily in Top 3 DPOY discussion. He should win it but He probably won't because He is running away with the Main Award. That's a lazy analogy if you ask me. LeBron is top of his conference too. Let's not bore each other on which conference is harder. As for individual record, LeBron has his too, so I really don't k ow what you're talking about. LeBron plays offence too, both by scoring and aiding others to score. You can't ask for more. I know we always talk negatively about LeBron's defence, but you can't do that this season. LeBron is no scrub on defence. Having said that, Curry played no D, Harden played no D. But guess what, they won MVP. |

etidy: The question is whether he it should be unanimous or not but trust the LeBron sports network, nick Wright, Shannon and their agenda they want to make it appear like a tight race. Oops, this doesn't look like Shanon Sharpe or Nick Wright

steady986: FT count is now 26-6. Any time Zion drives to the basket and has a man guarding him, they call a foul. But LeBron was clearly hacked on the hand by Ingram and no call. The NBA should keep this up. 28-6 now. Same routine. |

steady986: Through three quarters, the free throw count is 22-6 in favour of Pelicans. What can I say? FT count is now 26-6. Any time Zion drives to the basket and has a man guarding him, they call a foul. But LeBron was clearly hacked on the hand by Ingram and no call. The NBA should keep this up. |

youngestgrad: Guys so as I said earlier on this thread, I am a recent follower of the NBA. I will like someone to give me a detailed explanation of the playoffs and NBA finals, and why do team's get to the finals and play themselves 7 times!! In football you play home and away, it is quite confusing A40 should be able to give you a detailed explanation, he's our moderator here. |

Lol, am I seeing people talk about the Lakers on this thread? Seriously? You can thrash-talk Bron and the Lakers when we cease being top of the west. Until then, your opinion don't count. |

SmooshCHN: By his standards, Trae Young should just be at the top. Since he's 3rd in scoring and not just a scorer but a shooter. Nonsense Alright, let's use Trae since you brought him up. Who is better, Trae or Klay? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:28pm On Feb 26, 2020 |
chic2pimp: No Beal is not on the same Level as Jokic Superstar status or otherwise. There is a definite and clear Gap between the two players. Jokic is at worst a Top 7 player in the League at this moment whilst Beal on His best day will struggle to crack Top 10 If we are being Honest. Sorry bro, Jokic ain't no top 7. He's top 20 at best, and Beal falls into top 20 too. Don't underestimate Beal because he's in a sh*t team. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:26pm On Feb 26, 2020 |
SmooshCHN: So basketball is only about scoring? No defense, no off the ball skill, etc? Clap for yourself. Like I mentioned only scoring attribute Herr. Smh. Don't overhype Kay's defence, you fans do this a lot. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:50am On Feb 26, 2020 |
chic2pimp: In that Scenario, Jokic is the by farrrrr the No 1 player so my opinion still stands tbh. I chose Jokic because he's on the same level with Beal in terms of superstar status. I didn't choose Giannis or AD. Jokic being by farrrrr the No 1 is overexaggerating. |

chic2pimp: In a Vacum, maybe however I don't think either can be your best player if your ambition is to win a Title. As a No2 though, I'm picking Klay. Not only can He seamlessly fit into any team, He is also not a sieve on the defensive end. Naah, as a number 1 I definitely can choose Beal, he's earned it. Ball handler, scorer(not just shooter), leader...imagine having Beal and Jokic in your team plus the right pieces, that's a championship team. I don't think you could say the same for Klay/Jokic, or even any other big. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 5:16pm On Feb 25, 2020 |
I remember saying here that I'd take Beal over Klay any day. Well I didn't mean to say that, what I wanted to say is I'd take Beal over Klay everyday and twice on Sundays. |

chic2pimp: If the Lakers are considered contenders, then no one can convince me that the Celtics are not contenders too. The East have 4 Genuine contenders imo. Bucks,Raptors,Celtics and Philly. Any of those teams can make it out of that conference. Oh btw Jayson Tatum is Top 3 in the Eastern Conference as at this very moment. Giannis is the only one you can confidently say is better than that Dude right now. Who said the Celtics are not contenders? |

etidy: Mehn Tatum is a problem. The level of elite young talent in the league at the moment is mind-blowing Giannis, doncic, tatum, ja morant, zion, Trae young just to mention a few.
Excited for the NBA future Tatum was a problem cos we had no one to guard him. We tried different bodies and it didn't work. Morris came a game too late because these are the sort of guys we'll need him to guard. |

Especially Kawhi and PG. Not to talk of the ones he mentored one on one like Tatum and Kyrie None of these guys you mentioned play for the Lakers |
