Yahweh the God of the Jews is not Allah, the God of the Jews is the same as the Christian God, and Mohammed is not a prophet of the Christian God. AntiChristian: |
haekymbahd:"Call no man good but only God" Jesus was simply saying that the quality of goodness does not originate from man but from God hence is the only one truly good. That man who called Jesus good master merely saw Jesus as a man but Jesus is more than a man hence his goodness is not because he is a man but because he is God. Jesus himself refer to himself as the good shepherd. John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. We that do know Jesus not just as a man but as God himself do testify that he is God. |
1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. Some Bible translation uses Jesus christ crucified but the kjv uses Jesus christ and him crucified. Is there a difference? Yes The latter describes Jesus as the one crucified which is true but it does fit the message Paul was passing here. Jesus and him crucified is not Just saying Jesus who was crucified but Jesus person and his work on the cross Paul's message is about the person of Jesus and his work of redemption on the cross. 'Jesus christ and him crucified' is the heart and center of the gospel. |
author=IMAliyu post=108249377]partaking in christ suffering not paying for my sin they are not the same. This is in response to your statement "Christians rest on christ and his finished work on the cross while in religions of The world people are always working they never rest."what do you mean by hedonistic lifestyle? Freedom is strange to a man whose mind has being enslaved. Yep that is what Christians do, we have rested, christ has paid it all. I don't believe in the Christian concepts, but if you mean, "To deal with your burdens and problems" then, yes I do. But at the end of day we come into this world alone, and we die alone.why do you seek Allah's mercy if you can carry your cross? Have you studied other religions? If God allows sin to exist, he must have a plan to remove it. Sin is just a free will problem it is a nature. No man can be perfect, why? This is not a free will issue but the nature of man If the price of every sin must be paid, then God is not merciful either. God/Allah in the context I described earlier is not a robot or autistic, They have full understanding of those they judge and can decide when their Mercy or Justice should triumph.Justice and mercy are two different thing, justice is giving you what you deserve mercy. If the price of sin is not paid then God cannot be said to be righteous, a judge that did not meet out the judgment due to a crime is not a righteous judge. God is righteous and just for he gives you what you deserve. Then again God is merciful because he devise a way to settle your sin debt so that you can be free but you chose to either accept it or reject it. As an example is there is this tale we where told as kids about a prostitute that once saw a dog dying of thirst, she used one of her shoes to fetch water for the dying dog to drink. When she later died, she was welcomed to heaven, and was made to know that, that single act of genuine kindness to the animal was what earned her the mercy of God, and that all her previous sins were forgiven because of it.All human being has done one good or the other in their lives so everybody sins should be forgiven automatically and sins forgiven. The problem with this type of God is that it is unjust. Even in human justice system doing something good does not cancel out the punishment of sin. Nope, but the stories say that before his birth, his mother, the queen of a small Indian kingdom, had a dream.
Buddha fall flat when it comes to the issue of righteousness, buddah was merely seeking for freedom through elightment, if he was perfect he would not be seeking for freedom. Have you even heard of Jesus seeking for elightment or freedom? Rather Jesus himself said he gives freedom to all who believes in him, Jesus gives eternal life to his followers, but buddah even warn his followers to seek their own path he was as confused as every one else. Mohammed himself said he is not sure of where he is going after death. because all have sinned including Buddha, Mohammed etc only Jesus is righteous even the Koran cannot fault Jesus. Jesus stands out |
AntiChristian:Allah is one, yet he keeps referring to himself as 'we' |
Seems rather convenient doesn't it?can you bear your cross? You forget that other world religions don't believe in an original sin and the inheritance of sin, therefore their deity(ies) didn't require an ultimate blood sacrifice to be able forgive sins.other religion cannot explain the origin of sin, Why humans are pulled toward sin. Only in Christianity do you get the answers. The wages of sin is death, death is the highest price for sin and so only by dying can sin be paid, other payment are not sufficient. Let me give you a little bit of perspective, in Islam, Man is not perfect and sinless, and Allah(God) the creator has full knowledge of this, what he requires of you is to try your best to live virtueslly and obey him, and if you sin it's fine considering you repent from it. Considering a Muslim believes Allah is the most merciful and Just, not just simply a cosmic dictator, he/she/it is capable of understanding the struggle they embedded in man, and through their Mercy grant one forgiveness and paradise. As no one makes heaven, except by God's Mercy.you have contradicted yourself here. If you can bear your cross then why do you need Allah's mercy? Allah is not just if the price of sin is not paid. In Christianity God is just and cannot lie or be unjust hence the price of sin must be paid Really all?Was Budda born without a human father? Did angel Gabriel announced his birth? In history there were only two people born without human father Adam and Jesus and both were called sons of God. Both were perfect but however Adam didn't retain his perfection because he didn't continue to obey God but Jesus retained his perfection that even when he died he rose up again and was taken to heaven but Adam died and returned to the earth. |
OLAADEGBU:The vaccine is not the mark of the beast, it is only one of the ways in which the mind of people are prepared for the antichrist. Just as the holy spirit is preparing the church for Jesus return so the spirit of the antichrist is preparing unbelievers to receive him. |
Lovely |
The mind of people are being conditioned to receive the mark of the beast. |
haekymbahd:Yes a Christian can sin but he is no longer living in sin. He is still saved because as long as he continue in the faith of Jesus he is washed with Jesus blood. Is Everlasting forgiveness going to work for such person? if no, then how does everlasting forgiveness work.yes It works for him. Everlasting forgiveness means the blood of Jesus is ready to cleanse him from all sins 24/7 unlimited and all his past sins are already forgiven him. Hebrews 10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. In Christianity salvation is based of faith in Jesus. Everlasting forgiveness means there is forgiveness of sins in christ no matter any level of sin one has committed. Luke 111. When Jesus taught that prayer he has not died for sins so to be forgiven one has to forgive his neighbor first but after Christ died and resurrected we are forgiven and then we forgive others afterwards. 2.sins have negative impact both physically and spiritually. 3. Confession of sins after salvation is for spiritual restoration which can lead to physical restoration as well. To be spiritually restored is very important because only then can we freely relate with God. |
haekymbahd:your question sounds like " why dont you return to poverty since your father gave you his riches " Why should a believer in Jesus continue in sin when he has being given God's righteousness? what is the meaning of repentance?repentance simply means a change of heart towards or from an action, situation, thoughts or ways. Luke 13It is the repentance that lead to faith in Jesus. It is only through faith in Jesus can man's sinful state be changed. Luke 11:31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. It is only when one recognize he has sinned and that he is a sinner worthy of death and his only hope is from Jesus can one come into faith in christ. Show us the verse where Jesus said that he offered Everlasting forgiveness of sin?Basically, all that you know about Jesus was written by his apostles meaning it is from the witness of his apostles you come to know Jesus words. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. To have everlasting life and never perish one must have everlasting forgiveness. Matthew 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. |
Romans 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Christianity teaches that God gives eternal life to all those who trust in Jesus because Jesus paid the price. All other religions teaches that man has to work for the salvation through good works, right moral living, penance, paying off karma through reincarnation etc Christians rest on christ and his finished work on the cross while in religions of The world people are always working they never rest. Christians has the full assurance of their salvation while practioners of religions are never sure. All major religions are trying to work towards righteousness or at least close to it or to maintain a balance but a Christian received a superior righteousness, yes the righteousness of God himself through christ. Forgiveness of sin in other religions is through either rituals performing good works or making a pledge not to do it which of cause they keep committing. But in for a Christian the blood of Jesus offered everlasting forgiveness. The gift of the holy spirit, while other religion depend on human strength, Christianity depend on the holy spirit for spiritual growth. In Christianity the messiah is the foundation, he is a historical figure, his life is attested to be perfect no single blame, so the foundation of Christianity is one of an impeccable character which means he is trust worthy and his word is true. It is not so with the religions of the world as their founders are all corrupt men and women which cannot be trusted. In Christianity real change is the work of God (Born again) but in religion people try to change themselves. Christianity upholds the holiness of God, his righteousness, his goodness and love but exposes the sinfulness of man through his inability to live a sinless life. In Christianity God is so holy that he accepts nothing else apart from perfection, he is righteous to retribute to man his own ways, However man is unable to live sinless and must face retribution for his sins but he provided a way out through his own goodness and love for there to be a replacement. |
Time is going |
Today is the first day of December, no more time repent and believe the gospel while it is called day |
Time is so short |
A young man approached an old professor in a college and asked him, “How long before death should one prepare for eternity?” The professor answered, “A few minutes.” The young man was pleased with this answer because he wanted to have his fling, to sow his wild oats, and to experience whatever life might have to offer. Then, a few moments before he closed his selfish eyes in death, he thought he would ask God to have mercy on him! “But,” asked the old professor, “When are you going to die?” “I can’t tell,” replied the young man. “Then,” said the kindly Christian professor, “GET READY NOW, for you may have only a few moments to live.” I have traveled widely and have yet to meet anyone who wants to go to the lake of fire, there to endure the “eternal judgment” of God. All hope to be saved someday and to escape that awful doom. Many persons say that they would like to be saved, but they say they are waiting God’s time. God knows the best and proper time for a man to be saved. He says it’s NOW. There is no promise in God’s Word that a man will be saved next week, or next month, or next year, or when he comes to his deathbed, or at the eleventh hour, as some people foolishly say or imagine. God’s pledge is that He will save a man when he believes on the Lord Jesus Christ—not when he says he believes, but when he does believe. His word is: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31). Time is short. Eternity is near. The dark clouds of judgment are gathering and are about to burst in all their crushing power on a Christless, guilty world. But before this takes place, God kindly warns us, “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2. “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18. This is God’s gracious plea to you. What timely tenderness He shows you! God’s word is “COME,” and He tells you when to come: “NOW.” He concludes this magnificent verse with the promise of cleansing you from all your sins. Another urgent Divine plea is: “Acquaint now thyself with Him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.” Job 22:21. Again the word NOW confronts us. It tells us that THIS IS THE MOMENT to be acquainted with God by Christ Jesus—to be at peace with God through Christ. He has made peace for us with His precious blood, and only by its cleansing power can we be saved. The invitation of Jesus is, “Come; for all things are now ready.” Luke 14:17. There is nothing left for the helpless sinner to do in the matter of the soul’s salvation but to believe. On the cross, Christ did all that the glory of God required, and then He said, “It is finished.” John 19:30. He is in that glory today as proof that it is finished and that God is satisfied. NOW He can make known to you by the Holy Spirit through the Scriptures His present salvation for all lost sinners. The god of this world, Satan, tempts you to put off the salvation of your soul until tomorrow. Tomorrow is too late! It is not God’s time. Tomorrow is death, the grave, the lake of fire, the eternal cry of a damned soul. God would not say “NOW” so frequently in His Word if He did not mean it, or if there were not awful danger in delaying, or if tomorrow would do. It may be now or never for you. God grant that it may be NOW. Salvation now, this moment; Then why, oh, why delay? You may not see tomorrow! NOW is salvation’s day

The servant of Elisha has just seen the armies of the king of Samaria, and was in great despair but his master Elisha calmed him down by reminding him of the all powerful might of Yahweh. Elisha prayed that the eyes of his servant, and indeed his eyes where open and he saw the armies of the living God. 2 Kings 6:16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. The armies of the Lord is always on the church side, as a Christian it might seem we are in the minority as even Elijah cried that he was the only prophet remaining but the reality is that we are actually the majority, the angels of God are on our side, and above all God is on our side, so continue to speak the truth about Jesus endure every trial for the crown is waiting at the end of the toil. |
The true king is king Jesus and his kingdom is from everlasting to everlasting. One day the Kingdoms of this world will become his. Every other kings/kingdom will come to an end but his kingdom will endure throughout all eternity |
This is not the gospel, the gospel is about Jesus and his finished work, any gospel that is not about Jesus and his finished work is a false gospel. Yes hell is real and unsaved sinners are going there but that is not the good news, the good news is that God has provided a way of escaped through Jesus christ and his finished work on the cross. And Again babies or children who has no accountability cannot go to hell. |
Humans are being conditioned to recieve the mark of the beast. This is just a rehearsal for what is coming Repent and believe the Gospel |
Kobojunkiee:trusting the words spoken through the apostles and prophets does not mean putting trust in Vessel even Jesus relied on the testimony of the prophets who were men. 2.Jesus Christ actually did state that He alone is Teacher to all those who belong to Him , so we are in fact to regard no man as teacher if we belong to Jesus Christ.Jesus also said regard no man as father on earth I hope you stopped calling your father, father. 3. Paul's teaching is from Jesus Christ only if verified as such. Everything that contradicts the Truth of God, Jesus Christ is ofcourse not of Jesus Christ.Jesus said in the mouth of two or three a matter is ratified. Paul apostleship was confirmed by Peter and the early church. It seems you lack knowledge on Bible canonization. Read up on it |
Kobojunkiee:hahaha see blabbing contradiction, *How will Jesus tell to keep the commandment so you will be free from sin when you cannot be free from sin* *can a slave decide not to serve his master? So how can a sinner just decide not to commit sin by obeying the commandments when he is a slave of sin in the first place?* According to Jesus the Son has the power to set at liberty the servant of sin and not the servant of sin saving themselves. 2. Jesus Christ never denied Judas as one of His disciples, not even till the end.
he was not a true disciple,John 6:64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 3. Matthew 10 vs 40 and Mark 6 vs 11 both speak of receiving them, not listening to them. Again, Jesus Christ sent His apostles to teach the Gospel to those in the world. For instance, a righteous man may receive an Apostle of Jesus Christ, without gaining anything from him by way of teaching since Jesus Christ came to call the sinners and not the righteous to Himself. How do you receive someone without hearing their teachings? Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Jesus himself confirmed that there would be ministers within the church. Mark 10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister: 4. Jesus Christ came to give men the New Covenant agreement which God promised to His people with which He planned to bless all nations with.. He concluded the terms and conditions of the Law and tentatively declared on on cross, "it is finished!" Signifying the end of His mission on earth to the Lost sheep of Israel.Good to recognize there are things Jesus did not teach that the holy ghost brought. None of the teachings of Paul and other apostles contradicted that of Jesus. 5. What you consider the ministries of the church happen to be ideas that directly contradict the very teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ hence hence reason why it needs to be rejected by any one who truly abides by Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ abides in. For such ideas render Jesus Christ , the one who decreed that He alone is Teacher, Shepherd etc. ,over His followers, a liar.Jesus already said there will be ministers within the church, so how does the fulfillment of this contradict Jesus? |
Kobojunkiee:God himself is the originator of marriage, infact the kingdom of christ is described as a wedding feast many times. Jesus is the husband of the church just as the man is the husband of the wife, what is on earth is a replica of what is in heaven. 2. God disavowed Shepherds in Ezekiel 34 vs 1 -16 stating that He alone will Shepherd His own sheep in His New Agreement , condemning all those who fleece, kill and destroy his flock in His name. Jesus Christ echoed this in John 10 vs 1 - 16 when He declared that He alone is Shepherd(pastor) over His sheep, declaring every other who attempts to take His place as theirs who to steal, Kill, and destroy His flock. Jesus Christ never set any of His disciples as leader over His other servants and He, Jesus Christ, warned His disciples never to set themselves as authorities over the others - Matthew 20 vs 20 - 28According to Jesus there are those who would be chief or leaders in the church Luke 22:26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. 3. Tithing was defined and designed by God as part of His Old Covenant Law of Moses, and Agreement God made with the nation of Israel, this who had the blood of Jacob flowing through their veins- Deuteronomy 30 vs 15 - 20. Tithing was designed in such as way as to serve as a tax/welfare shelter to the nation itself.the principle of tithing existed before Moses, it only became a law under Moses. Tithing is good and therefore should be encouraged. Sure Jesus built his church through the apostles. Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; |
Kobojunkiee:Paul and the other apostles are a vessel used by the holy ghost who is the true teacher. In fact Jesus did not say call no man teacher but call no man Master which is Lord. Jesus also said "call no man father on earth" yet Jesus uphold the law that said children should honor their father. 2. 2 Corinthians is Paul's views written by Paul and not Jesus Christ's commandments or the Gospel and Law in the Kingdom of God. So why do you somehow confuse the words of Paul for the Law as given us by Jesus Christ?Paul's teaching is from christ himself, they are not opinions. |
Kobojunkiee:you are preaching a contrary gospel. John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 2. I am afraid that statement is very wrong! Recall that Jesus Christ had Judas one of His disciples before His death. Had judas not killed himself, are you suggesting then that those who rejected teachings about Jesus Christ from the mouth of an unrepentant Judas would have been wrong ?Judas was not a true disciple of christ, judas was appointed by christ for one purpose and that is full scripture by betraying him Peter and the other apostles were appointed to build the church this was confirmed by the outpouring of the holy ghost. . Jesus Christ also taught His followers to beware of the leaven(lies) of the Pharisees/servants of God, remember? And in Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14, Jesus Christ warned us all against listening to and following the doctrines and traditions of men( and their churches) which He declared were nothing but lies meant to decieve us away from following the Truth of God.Jesus never warned anybody against listening to his servants, I fact he said that anybody who does not receive his servants does not receive him. Matthew 10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. Mark 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. But rather Jesus warned against false apostles who come in his name to devour. 4. The apostles were sent out by Jesus Christ to teach the New Covenant Law to those in the world - unbelievers. Those of the world who rejected their teachings were not condemned by it at all since God already judged and condemned the world in Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22. Jesus Christ made this abundantly clear when He stated that He came to save, and not condemn.Jesus didn't teach everything during his earthly life but promised that the holy ghost will reveal all things when the holy ghost comes. John 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. You have forgotten that there is another person who is equal to Jesus himself who Jesus said will reveal all truth and that is the holy ghost. So Jesus is indirectly telling you that his words are not limited to the what he taught and did on earth buy goes beyond. Ephesians 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: The ministries of the church started after Jesus had ascended, given by Jesus through the Holy Spirit. 5. Paul was sent out to teach the Gospel to the world, just as every other followers of Jesus Christ out there. The opinions of Paul as expressed in his letters are those, his opinions and in no way change God's Law and judgement on His own. A servant can never be greater than His master, but you are meant to verify the words of Paul using the words of Jesus Christ and not the other way around for doing so sets Paul as Master over you where Jesus Christ declared instead that He alone is Master over everyone one of His servants. The teachings of Paul were the teachings of christ they are not his opinions except when Paul state so, whenever Paul gives opinion he states so expressly otherwise it is exactly the same as Jesus. |
LiberatedGirl:you are not a Christian, perhaps one of these deceived fellows into New age religion. You own liberty is against christ, If Jesus was your head you would receive the teachings of Paul and of the other apostles but of cause your own Jesus is different. 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. If your Jesus is not the Jesus that Paul and the apostles preached then you have another gospel. |
LiberatedGirl:I don't think there is any church of God or Christian that focus on where man's headship except during sermon on marriage. The attack on Christian values which include Christian marriage has increased in this modern time. Christianity is a huge stumbling block to the new world order. As for positions in the church, while you are not inferior to a pastor, a pastor's job is to be a vessel through which Christian would be grown, God is a God of other, Jesus himself chosen 12 disciples and made Peter their leader to strengthen their faith. The scripture that said that there is neither male or female, masters or servant is usually quoted out of context. This has nothing to do with gifts and ministry but spiritual state before God. Tithe payment is good and should be encouraged, those who pay tithe are blessed those against tithe are against a good thing. Now, you said you don't go to church but somehow you are bothered about tithe payment, you don't care about how the church should be ran but you are against a source of income for the church aren't you a tool for the devil? You sit criticizing but wouldn't lift a finger or support those doing it but you support the blasphemers and God haters against his church, what then are you if not a destroyer |
LiberatedGirl:You misunderstood and misquote scripture. 1. Scripture doesnt say men are the head of women but rather the husband is the head of his wife. 2. Headship is not earned, anyone a woman marries automatically become her head. 3. The definition of headship in the Bible is different from worldly headship, headship is about showing loving care and protection not about domination or Lording it over others. 4.The position of headship is given to a man in marriage to show love and care as well as godly direction in the home. 5. Any man a woman marries, has automatically be qualified to be her head that is why the choice of whom to marry must not be by impulse, lust or vain things but by a well meaningful and purposeful motive. |
LiberatedGirl:@bold The liberty of christ is the liberty from sin not the liberty of the world. The liberty you talk of seems contrary to that of christ. If you can't accept what Jesus' disciples taught then you have rejected christ teaching. The story of Lazarus and the rich man comes mind. Now look at what the rich man was told in hell. Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. If anyone will not listen to the servants of God then even if God comes physically they won't still listen. Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: Those prophets were actually sent by Jesus, their fathers killed them. The apostles were sent by Jesus, rejecting their messages means rejecting Jesus himself. The children thought they could do better than their fathers but ended up killing Jesus himself. If you have issues with Paul's teachings then you have issues with Jesus because Paul is a servant of Jesus. |
sonmvayina:The Messiah interpreted as christ in Greek and the anointed one in English. Is the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. This is his mission, God sent him to pay the price of the sin and that anyone who believes in him would recieve the remission of sins and saved from sin and it's condemnation. Only those who are saved from sin will enter into his kingdom. |
