Christianity Etc › Re: Vision: The Great Tribulation Has Begun. Rapture Is Imminent! by stevecantrell: 8:52am On Mar 29, 2015 |
paxonel: please the bible didn't mentioned rapture anywhere. what you called the, great tribulation(also known as abomination of desolation where one will be taken to be Jesus disciple and the other left behind.matt 24:20 ) was a specific event that was prophesied by daniel that it will happen at the time Jesus will come and die(Daniel 9:26). In matthew 24,read the whole chapter, Jesus was directly quoting out this Daniel's prophecy to his disciples and it was at the very moment the prophecy was fullifiling right at theirs eyes, but they didnt understand what Jesus saying.(remember, Jesus has not yet been crucified when he was saying these things, he was about to be crucified, the time of his crucifixion was near at hand therfore the kingdom of heaven was at hand then at that time, not today.again , today we have the kingdom of heaven already because Christ is now resurrected ) so,great tribution has already happened and pass. it will not happen again,Jesus has come and died he will not come again physically . Jesus will only come again to judge us when we die,the death of men is actually the second coming of Jesus. he has been coming, men has been dying. it is appointed once for men to die after that judgment. great tribulation was the event Jesus gathered his disciples moving from Galilee to Jerusalem(where Jesus was to be crucified ) as prophesied by Daniel, the Bible recorded it as the worst thing that has happened in the history of mankind.Mat 24:21 At that time nation rised against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there was famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. it ended the moment Jesus was crucified at Jerusalem.2000 years ago . this is what John was making as a reference in the book of revelation . so, Mr OP, go and understand Bible before you contradict Bible with your fake dreams. lol So what about the events described in the Revelation by John ? Are these also past tense ?? |
Romance › Re: Gay And Depressed. by stevecantrell: 10:40pm On Mar 28, 2015 |
The OP is confusing a dislike for women for being gay. You have high standards, don't lower them. Meet girls you think you might like and invite them home, get to know the kind of woman that appeals to you intellectually, emotionally and sexually.
Eventually, you'll find the right one.
You're NOT gay !
Keep telling yourself that. |

titipeters: Infact, that's the basic truth of what will happen, just don't know how ppl will understand this... GEJ will not finish his term and truly he's not gonna be the real winner... I'm not really bothered about Gej, but there is gonna be a lot of collateral damage suffered by ordinary Nigerians during that period. |

LRNZH: In 48 hours we shall see which if these prophecies are worth their salt.
The much touted violence they see has not happened as they prophesy.
GEJ's return is unlikely so we shall see. These pastors are all southerners. How come we don't hear the prophesies of northern clerics (Christian and Muslim)?
Once GMB becomes President, then we can say it is well with Nigeria.
Sai Baba
Let's be real on this....Buhari will probably win by a narrow to moderate margin but Jonathan will be declared winner. This is the most likely outcome. But law of karma will have gej out of aso rock long before 2019. |

Sai buhari. Ngozi has already borrowed $2 bn and she's only just warming up. Nigeria is already bankrupt. Gej is a punishment on Nigeria indeed. |

vislabraye: Tinubu and Amaechi are liabilities to Buhari. People will go for GEJ because they don't like Buharis association. I know Nigeria deserves change. But Tinubu and house boy Amaechi are not the change we need. You can never know the mind of buhari...he could cut them off as soon as he settles into aso rock. He can have them neck deep in court cases till he ends his term. No permanent friends only permanent interests. |

mrmetoo1: What are GEJ-ites campaigning on these days. They tried to hold on to the economy before but that is crumbling left and right. S&P just downgraded our ratings. CNN money reversed their earlier analysis and named Nigeria as the worst performing economy in Africa.
What exactly are we re-electing GEJ for?? This is a serious question?? His re-election is based on what? You will wait long if you expect a rational and reasonable answer. Lord knows, I would have loved to vote Gej but I have too much of a conscience. |

They refuse to sale us weapons, he did not stop in Nigeria during his tour, Hilary refuse to list BH as a terriost group, the cone head one with white hair said we should not bomb Boko Harem like that it is inhuman etc etc; Up until now, he's largely ignored Nigeria, the new special attention isn't re-assuring. |

Politics › Re: The Falling Naira Is A Blessing by stevecantrell: 11:38am On Mar 22, 2015 |
eposho: this case is dead on arrival. op never gave thought to this before coming on line, case of too much apeteshi at night time. Op has an acute case of tanoiditis. Sane countries deliberately devalue their currency, when they realise their economy depends mostly on manufacturing and export - that's just common sense. The naira is at the mercy of poor management of our resources via almighty corruption, not a fall in the price of crude. If crude price is the reason, why didn't the naira appreciate during boom time ? Name 2 other OPEC nations that devalued their currency in the last 4 months ? You can't ? Why ? You can only benefit from a weak naira if you earn foreign exchange either through exports or some other activity. Nigeria currently exports close to zero non-oil products, we have no industrial powerhouse or power to run any meaningful manufacturing revolution, so why are some people intent on deceiving themselves ? You first create the industries and then you devalue, its never the other way round. |

arsetalks: I try not to be triabalistic but I find it very odd that the igbos who are the biggest importers of goods to the country will support this clueless man known as GEJ the jerk.
Many importers are going out of business fast and it is due mainly to one man's cluelessness.
It is funny to note that when crude price was circa $110-$160 in the world market, the naira never firmed up but it is on a decline when price of crude oil crashes.
Gej needs to tell Nigerians what he did with the savings from the excess generated from selling our oil.
NOI needs to explain to us what has all of a sudden changed in her stance. She said about 1 year ago that there is no cause for alarm, why the alarm now. You and I alone asking all that will not change the status quo. When a majority decide to ignore all the sentiment and tribalistic affiliations and demand answers to critical conundrums like these, Nigeria will change for better. |

Someone is apparently playing pranks. In today's world, any form of military rule has no place in the current global political structure. To do so will amount to going back to "old stone age". bigass: Nigeria is too big for one man to hold us to ransom. He is just a soul like mine We practise democracy, People voted him in and the people can vote him out which they will. If Jonathan is defeated, and decided to remain in power, he will get Gbagbo's treatment. The office of President of Federal Republic of Nigeria belongs to no one but one whom the People of Nigeria want. No amount of intimidation from some SS and SE guys can change the fact that GEJ needs people's vote to get into office Well that's debatable. I don't even see Gej having the guts to hold elections in 10 days time, even if he does and it doesnt go his way ,he may postpone announcement of the results indefinitely |
