Word. I was taking to this Rwandan guy on Quora and he told me how exactly Rwanda is using different avenues including international branding to attract visitors and investors. And it is working.

The rate of hotel construction going on in Kigali now is no joke. Their international conference center is state of the art.

Rwanda has a good leader. Just see how far they have gone after a few years of genocidal war? Lagos with trillion budget and with huge funds generated from its seaport, Apapa to MMIA road is a tragedy. Nigeria is unserious country and I am ashamed of it.

Honestly, when I see the level of tourism in countries like thailand, Cambodia, vietnam etc, I marvel.

Apart from their relative stable electricity and okay roads, they are not that special. Igboland can compete with them in tourism if supporting infrastructures is in place.

People talk of our oil...What does Switzerland, Korea, and France have as natural resources? Even Kenya. Rwanda has more tourist than Nigeria. Check out Arsenal jersey advert. That's how to do it. Has Nigeria made any effort. This why I advocate for smaller country where people can reason and bring lofty ideas out and implement them like you have see in Igbo villages. Nigeria is too big for ideas to be welcomed and implemented.

They have shown that in Sport where they provide more than 50% of the athletes. They have build properties anywhere they have lived more than you big mouths...Remove Igbo from Nigeria and all you tribal people like the Edos, the Yorubas and the Hausa/Fulanis will have you place in near stone age by now. Remove Igbos from Nairaland and it will close shop in few months because of law traffic. Learn to respect these people. The need equity, fairness and level playing ground for all.
