KanuIsCursed:Will the python be dancing forever? Why can't the government be sensible? |
Even Nigeria media are struggling to support the position of the Nigeria government. All they need to do is to dialogue. This would have stopped the senseless killings. Do you know how much the military spent for their operation? Do you know how much it has caused Nigerian in the international circle? What about the embarrassment. All these would have been avoided if dialogue was used at the earliest stage.

Which useless oneness are these cattle herdsmen all about? Nigeria has never been one. All indications have proved that Nigerians don't want to be united, no matter how hard. ONLY oil is keeping Nigeria one. “Since 1914 the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country, but the Nigerian people themselves are historically different in their backgrounds, in their religious beliefs and customs and do not show themselves any signs of willingness to unite … Nigerian unity is only a British invention” – Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, 1948. |
Goke7:How..? You want them to be like the Benue people who are helpless as the Fulanis take over their ancestral land? What wind are you chasing in Benue state? |
[s] LionDeLeo:[/s] How ego come late? You have been stealing people's resources and killing them for more than 50 years and nothing has happened to improve your region. What more can you do? |
Primate Ayodele: Five nations will come out of Nigeria; two will be greater than three There are agitations today in the country, particularly in the South-East. You predicted some years ago that a time would come when the country as a whole would be no more. What can be done? Nnamdi Kanu has taken the wrong step in his fight for Biafra. He cannot actualise it. But the government must dialogue with him because his agitation will cause pandemonium. There will be a lot of factions within the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB). Some people would penetrate the group in order to cause issues. Besides, I see a major referendum in the nearest future; it is not now. No government can stop the disintegration of Nigeria. Only God can stop it. Note my words: only God can stop Nigeria’s disintegration, but it is not yet time. By 2035, Nigeria will be no more. Five nations will come out of the country. Two will be greater than three. Read more http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/primate-ayodele-five-nations-will-come-nigeria-two-will-greater-three/

Ngozi123:You don't need to wonder any further. Here is why: APC rode on the back of BH to come to power: "The recent proscription of Boko Haram and Ansaru violates the Constitution." - Lai Mohammed (June 10, 2013, The Nation) |
hakeem4:So in your small mind, the Oba of Lagos is mentally unstable for threatening to drown Igbos in the lagoon? |
I thought military operation and the airforce drills should be more focused here. I wonder why snake like dancing with people who are not armed? When will Alhaji Liar Mohammed tell of the sponspors of this group who have been so labelled since 3 years now. Why is it too difficult to for the government to disclose their sponsors? "The recent proscription of Boko Haram and Ansaru violates the Constitution." - Lai Mohammed (June 10, 2013, The Nation) |
• FG not sincere, says APC chieftain, Galadima A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Buba Galadima, has debunked a claim by the Federal Government that all territories have been reclaimed from Boko Haram, saying that at least seven local governments in Borno State are still under the control of the sect. In an exclusive interview with The Guardian in Abuja, Galadima, who is a founding member of the APC from Yobe State, said there are 27 local governments in Borno State but not all are functioning because of the activities of Boko Haram. “As I speak to you, many local government councils operate partially in Borno State. There are supposed to be 27 of them and you find out that not all of them are functional with their secretariats, at least seven of them, still under the control of Boko Haram. “You will discover that all the emirs are resident in Maiduguri rather than in their domains and, of course, you will also know that feeding of troops in some local government headquarters is done by dropping food for them with helicopters,” Galadima disclosed. He said: “Even if they cook, there is no access to the troops. They drop ammunition, they drop food for them from the air, so can anyone say that because you are in the local government headquarters and you can’t move one inch from where you are, you have reclaimed everywhere?” On the claim by government that Boko Haram’s stronghold of Sambisa forest has been liberated, Galadima said: “If they (military) have taken over some parts of Sambisa which is so extensive and over 1000 kilometers stretching from Jigawa through Bauchi, Gombe to Adamawa states and into Cameroun and liberated only the headquarters of the proposed national guard which is about 30 kilometers away from Maiduguri, that is not total liberation.” According to him, the national guard training camp also known as ‘Ground Zero’ has bunkers which were previously occupied by Boko Haram before the military uprooted them from there. “What about the rest of the place, the remaining vast area of 1000 kilometres?” he asked. The APC chieftain suggested that the military should be proactive to acquire territory and hold the ground and not to be in one place. “They wait for attack by Boko Haram and then repel, if they had been moving, even if it’s one kilometer per day, they could have finished the job.” http://guardian.ng/news/seven-borno-local-councils-still-controlled-by-boko-haram/ |
Northern caucus to meet Thursday Damilola Oyedele in Abuja The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, and the South-east Senate Caucus last night met over the recent clash between separatist group, Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Nigeria Army which culminated in the categorisation of the former as a terrorist organisation by the latter. This is coming ahead of the scheduled meeting of northern senators tomorrow over the recent developments in different parts of the country. Saraki is also expected to attend the meeting. Both meetings also have as major agenda, discourse on how to ensure the unity of Nigeria, the pursuit and enhancement of peaceful co-existence among all groups in the light of agitations in different parts of the country. Tuesday’s meeting which started at about 9.42p.m. took place at the residence of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu. THISDAY gathered that the meeting which was supposed to have commenced earlier in the day, was delayed till night for the Senate President to be in by planned attendance. The Special Assistant, New Media to the Senate President, Mr. Bankole Omishore, in a tweet, confirmed that the meeting was to discuss national unity. “President of Senate @bukolasaraki currently meeting with South-east senators on how to unite the country. To also meet with Northern Senators on Thursday,” the tweet read. The South-east caucus had been expected to meet this week to discuss the worrisome turn of events in the region ahead of the resumption of the Senate from summer recess next week. The meeting was considered to formally adopt a consensus position before the Senate at plenary, since the matter is now considered priority discourse for the upper chamber in plenary. Sources privy to the agenda for the meeting however added that the IPOB matter is not the only item to be discussed. “This is part of consultations on all issues across the country, the tensions and other things not related to agitations. It is normal for such meetings to hold ahead of resumption. They have been away for six weeks,” a source said. He added that the lawmakers through their caucuses also have to consult and outline their agenda for the resumption. Saraki in a statement on Monday, had faulted the prescription of IPOB by the South-east governors and its categorisation as a terrorist organisation by the Nigerian Army. He had categorically stated that the actions were unconstitutional and did not follow due process. http://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2017/09/20/saraki-south-east-senators-meet-over-ipob-national-unity/ |
"The recent proscription of Boko Haram and Ansaru violates the Constitution." - Lai Mohammed (June 10, 2013, The Nation) |
Double standard:Compare Lai Mohammed statement in 2013 against proscribing of Boko Haram as terrorist group and his statement now about proscribing IPOB OHA Moses September 20, 2017 Leave a Comment In 10 th June 2013, Lai Mohammed Condemned Dr Jonathan government for proscribing Boko Haram and Ansaru as terrorist group as it was reported by the nation . Boko Haram were bombing and killing innocent civilians in churches and mosque, even market place. He said then that as reported by vanguardngr.com that the proscription stifles the press and tampers with the fundamental human rights of Nigerians. According to the National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, then ACN said the order also makes it easy for an increasingly intolerant government to clamp down on the opposition, which it sees more as an irritant than an indispensable part of democracy. The same Lai Mohammed in an interview at Tvc program, affirmed the proscription of IPOB as terrorist group 2017. The question now is,what makes Lai Mohammed to change his mind about the freedom of the opposition? What makes believe that clamping down of opposition is right? |
Just watch as one character called Tonybacanster or whatever his name is....come and write a thread, why IPOB MUST be the ones that burnt the mosque... |
oladeebo:Chicago Tinubu was in England was in England having escaped through Idi-Irok border when Abacha rolled out military tanks when he was fighting for sovereign national conference to renegotiate Nigeria existence. He returned and now a king maker in Yorubaland. Kanu was also in jail after Awolowo was jailed about 50years ago. So what are you jumping up and done for? |
GavelSlam:IPOB teaching you how to do things in a civilized manner since 1914. See how Nigeria will form National Guard, because IPOB says they have Baifra National Guard! ![]() |
Danladi7:No I don't support that. Neither do I support downing Igbos in the LAGOON |
Yyeske:So when will you start your movement on restructuring so that the Igbos, Ijaws, Hausas and middle belt can join you? |
0m0nnakoda:Has this helped you?
|
tobida:I strongly believe splitting will bring the best in the smaller units. Are you not proud of small Ghana, Botswana, Rewanda? Do they have oil or population. People want peace and good life. That's all. The deep hatred amongst the ethinic group in Nigeria will take a miracle to be removed. |
Danladi7:Forgettttiii! Come to think of it. How many Yorubas attend Igbo churches? ![]() |
Yyeske:At the end Nigeria will split. You know we are never one. We are just wasting out time. See “Since 1914 the British Government has been trying to make Nigeria into one country, but the Nigerian people themselves are historically different in their backgrounds, in their religious beliefs and customs and do not show hemselves any signs of willingness to unite … Nigerian unity is only a British invention” – Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, 1948. ---------------------------------------------------------- What has changed since 1948? Nothing. It is even getting worse. |
I can't remember the northern governors proscribing Boko haram until the international community labeled them a terrorist group. Instead General Iherijika was taken to the ICC in Hague for fighting them. Even ACN/APC rejected tagging BH a terroroist group and proscribing them at that time. "The recent proscription of Boko Haram and Ansaru violates the Constitution." - Lai Mohammed (June 10, 2013, The Nation) Also I didn't see the SW governors proscribing OPC during the days of clamour for soveregin national conference. The SS leaders never proscribed NDA, MASSOP, MEND, etc. Only SE governors have done this. I am beginning to see why people say that Igbos are their own enemies. Fayose might be right when he said that...Only God can save the Igbos. |
Udmaster:...and how have your 70% Igbos fighting for the restructuring? Nigeria has been gearing about restructuring since 1963 and nothing has happened. It took the dtermination and doggedness of the same UNN dropout for the government to start processes for the restructuring. Now who is worse than a drop out here? The joke is on your bro.

sarrki:Unity beggar, you no dey tire? |
pweshboi:The leader have a case in court. Isn't that the place to legally resolve such issues? Using military force against unarmed people because of hate speech is over kill, and always viewed in bad light, globally. |
SLIDEwaxie:Your born to rule era is over! Try and revive your groundut pyramid and hides and skin businesses. Leave NNPC and NPA alone. |
PointB:Do you believe in restructuring and power devolution? Do you accpet that it is wrong for the central goverment to awaed contract for road in my remote village. Do you fancy the government taking resource from a place and use it to develop other places leaving the place in ruin? Do you believe the government can share resources as it pleases, marginalizing the region it hates? Etc, etc. I can never be gullible. I understand what is going on. You feign ignorance because it favours you. |
