Lushore1: I don't understand you people,....Go and develop your region but you no go gree. I really can't remember any one sending you invitation letter to come n live in lagos. lagos will always prosper and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Just imagine lagos future with eko Atlantic, dangote refinery, Badagry seaport, lekki seaport, lekki airport, the light rail, lagos to ibadan rail project and you are sitting down in your 2 by 2 shop with no plan and making threat. May God deliver you. Not a problem...what percentage of other people import from the ports? Almost half of the travellers using MMIA are from the East...Nobody said other regions shouldn't develop...We are encouraging our population to relocate...but we must have alternatives...The federal government built the current seaports and MMIA airports..they should do the same in the eastern part as well...That's' all... |

waternogetememy: Remove the SS/ SE Population from Lagos and see that City fall like a pack of cards then witness the East grow into a giant. Correct. Most Easterners in diaspora want to go home. Several groups have been working to bring investments home other than real estate that is springing up everywhere... We need high rise buildings, generation of power from coal; attracting IT ventures like Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, etc; building heavy industries, like automobile, cement, steel, plastic, pharmaceutical and petrochemical, etc...Ibeto cement, Innoson automobile have started in the right direction... |

waternogetememy: Thank you my brother. This is y we sieze the opportunity to call for Biafra. We have done the maths. Everybody sit in Lagos and expect who to develop the East?
Population is a critical factor to Economic growth via increased in productivity based on employement of all factors of production.
Once we get Biafra, the first thing is to build seaport, u can never have enough of Seaport. The second thing is to map out a mega City area for urban dwellers.(Capital City on the coast)
We dont want the capital city to be over populated so Cities like Awka, Enugu, Port Harcourt Calabar, Uyo, Yenegoa, Warri will equally receive attention and be as developed as the capital City. They will be expanded in size too.
In another 100 years of Nigeria, SS/SE will not get a deep Seaport, yet dey say we should continue, is it until yorubas start killing dem in Lagos, that they did look for viable alternatives? I agree with you 100%. I am one of those that believe, East will develop faster if it became autonmous... |

I like Uyo...Enugu is also very peaceful and beautiful...It has done well with one of the smallest budget compared to other Nigeria states. With seaports in down SS and relocation of population to the Eastern part...The two cities and others will grow extensively...

Politics › Osinbajo Not Under Pressure To Resign – Presidency by Stingman(op): 8:52pm On Jan 25, 2017 |
The Presidency on Wednesday denied insinuation that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was being pressured to resign. A statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Political Affairs, Femi Ojudu, said it was not true that Osinbajo was being held hostage by some governors who were said to have demanded his resignation from office. In the statement titled: “State of the Nation,” Ojudu said Osinbajo was on his desk in his office and performing his routine functions having earlier presided over a meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC). The presidential aide described the claim as ridiculous and urged the people to desist from carrying fake news. He said: “I have read many ridiculous stories saying the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is being held hostage by some governors who are trying to compel him to resign. “I have equally received several calls regarding this. The story is simply not true. It is a fabrication. Don’t be a purveyor of fake news. “The Vice President is behind his desk carrying out his task. The Federal Executive Council presided over by him has just ended and he has been busy receiving visitors and holding meetings.” http://thenationonlineng.net/osinbajo-not-pressure-resign-presidency/ |

Biafra,Biafra,Biafra,Biafra. ...the highlighted is exactly my point. The Igbo president will try to make the north support his presidency...and so would end up not even doing anything for the Igbos...OGB and GEJ built the $1.5 billion rail system from Abuja to Kaduna...Kaduna contributes nothing to the national wealth...The two president cannot boast of any serious investment in the whole south...You get waht I mean?

Politics › Obasanjo Drums Support For Igbo Presidency In 2019 by Stingman(op): 8:12pm On Jan 24, 2017 |
FORMER president Olusegun Obasanjo has thrown his weight behind the South-East geopolitical zone in producing the next president of the country in 2019 general elections.
He said this on Tuesday while playing host to the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ogun State chapter, at his Abeokuta Hilltop residence, that the problem of marginalisation and justice had been a major source of concern of conflict between ethnic and regional divisions, hence, his resolve to back the region.
The region, in the 57 years of independence of the country, had not produced a democratically elected president, saying he worked for the emergence of South-South president in 2009, in the spirit of justice and fairness.
He similarly shared the view with the aspirations of the people of Ogun West senatorial district in producing the next governor.
Obasanjo said, “Irrespective of the thinking of the people ahead of 2019, I personally think that South-East should have a go at the Presidency too. The same is happening here. If Ijebu and Egba have produced the governor, it is only fair and just to allow the Yewa or Ogun West to also produce governor. Or else, one day, they will also stand up and take up arms against this injustice against them. That is my personally position on this.”
Commenting on the Southern Kaduna crisis, the former president cautioned Nigerians not to comment on the incident if they do not have detailed reports.
“My findings so far show that everyone is talking from the position of strength. People are not talking from knowledge of what they know and this is not helping. We must be able to dump all our sentiments to overcome the challenges.
“Just like other cases of injustice around us, we need peace; it is only peace with justice that can solve all these crises. Genuine peace is what everyone is craving for and this can only come when there is justice.”
The state CAN chairman, Bishop Tunde – Akin Akinsanya sought for the support of Obasanjo in building Ecumenical Centre in the state, describing the former president as a special gift to Nigeria and the entire world considering his exploits and fatherly role so far. http://tribuneonlineng.com/obasanjo-drums-support-igbo-presidency-2019/ |

Let some of my Yoruba cum pan-one Nigeria interests be celebrating the genocidal killings of Biafrans. But one day, Biafra will emerged as a sovereign Nation and by then where will the Yoruba people be? If many ignorant Nigerians and the Yoruba in particular do not know that the world media has already started using the term Biafra and Biafrans as legitimate communication of describing those who they, refereed to, as co-Nigerians as distinct people and Nation from the Yoruba/Hausa/Fulani collaboration called one Nigeria now, and it is only a matter of time before the unholy marriage is separated apart permanently forever.
I am a chela of great worth on the path of truth and i uphold strongly non-apologetically to the universal principles of self-determination and universal liberty. I am part of the convention and conviction that BiAFRA and BIAFRANS must be free. Using the instrumentality of State coercion and brutality will never stop the coming of Biafra as such genocidal killings of Biafrans will bring the emergence of a sovereign BiAFRA CLOSER TO A LEVEL THAT ONE Nigeria WILL DIE A NATURAL DEATH! To THE Yoruba GULLIBLE WHO CONTINUE TO OPPOSE Biafra, THEY SHOULD BE ALSO BE PREPARING TO LEAVE Nigeria OR THEY WILL PERISH WITH THE POLICY OF EXTERMINATION OF HAUSA/FULANI AGENDA OVER THE REST OF ALL ETHNIC NATIONS FORCED INTO NIGERIA UNDER CORE-NORTHERN ETERNAL DOMINATION AND MUST BE TOLD THIS BITTER TRUTH,THAT THE north AND BUHARI WERE NOT KEEPING Nigeria BECAUSE THEY LOVE THE PEOPLE OF OTHER ETHNIC CLIME ESPECIALLY THE YORUBA BUT WERE ONLY USING THEM TO CONSOLIDATE THEIR IMPERIALISTIC GRIP AND DOMINATION UNDER THE PRETEXT OF A USELESS PAN-Nigeria Nation-State.
HOW MANY OF NORTHERN CORE-NATURAL RESOURCES ARE OWNED BY SOUTHERNERS UNDER EXISTING ONE NIGERIA EXTANT LAWS? YET THESE NORTHERN PARASITES ARE THE ONES CONTROLLING AND OWING ALL NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE FINANCIAL BENEFITS THAT ACCRUED FROM SUCH UNDER THE GARB OF A UNITED NIGERIA! I STAND WITH BIAFRA! |

WORDWORLD: Nothing is EVER for FREE to start with. The roads in the East are so bad, the very WORST in Nigeria. Instead of you to go and demand for your rights from your leaders. You are here telling us about building rails. Our leaders don't have money of their own to build the roads. Our leaders have visited the past heads of government about the federal roads in the East, but they did nothing...Even Governor Orji Kalu had to fight with OBJ for this reason. Now even your VP has confirmed that roads in the East are the worse in the federation, yet nothing was done. The east is still being punished because of the war that ended decades ago...Now what do you want us to do...I am using rail as an example of one the toughest job that can be engaged with..to start what...Get it now? |

WORDWORLD: Heroes are not what the world needs anymore. The days of HERO and HERO worship has long ago been over. Humanity has evolved. What the world needs today are people with GOOD IDEAS. Can any IPOB kindly tell us what the BIAFRAN IDEOLOGY is? If it is all about TRIBE, being IGBO then thats no IDEOLOGY at all but PURE SENTIMENT which only speaks of a people who have refused to grow.
So, can anyone tell us something outside being TRIBALISTIC? I can patriotically join to build underground rail tunnel for Biafra from Asaba-Onitsha-Enugu-Abakaliki-Aba-Owerri-Nnewi, for free...but will NEVER dream of such in the evil contraption called Nigeria...That's one of the stuff...Fervent patriotism...can move mountain... |
