Please, consider this when you sit and wait for that choice of yours. You are not getting younger, and your mates are getting on with life. Infact, if you can, don't marry at all. Just dedicate yourself to a convent. Shikena!!!

All you people looking for a man who is tall, handsome, rich, famous, caring, faithful, God-fearing, loving and people-loving.

Listen, God does not create god.

All these qualities you people are looking for are only in God. Be contented like your mother... undecided

PDP government wants to cause war in this country.
Why won't they want this election to be conducted by jega freely.

Abi during a football match can a referee be substituted ?

My Bro/Sis, I wish I will make a little sense without you crucifying me here. Yes, I may have a soft spot for GEJ govt, and I have my reasons. But, let me attempt to address your fears and questions.
1- I don't know if PDP is trying to cause war, because I am wondering who the warring factions would be(will you be among?).
2- Well, I also have the same question, as per why is Jega so much in the fray. Is he compromised? Is he a threat to PDP, if yes, How? If he is the non-partisan Jega that I often admire. Then, I believe the right thing and action will prevail.
3- Yes o! A referee has been substituted before in a football match, I believe just last year(you may visit google for assistance).

Finally, the able SAN Falana should state clearly what Section 158(1) says as he is well placed to interpret the law and not to quote it vaguely. And YES the President can attempt to remove Jega, with two third confirmation of the HOA.
Finally, I don't know why Jega has suddenly become a focal point of protagonist or antagonist, but I believe one thing, that the strides he has made will be bettered this coming elections, with or without him.
Cheers!!

Crime / Re: Ibori’s Conviction Gulped £14m, Says Senate by Stoical: 1:38pm On Feb 28, 2015
Ralphlauren:
Lies!

They should give a breakdown of how the £14m was spent and where the money came from.

The United Kingdom was the government that secured Ibori's conviction (he broke UK's AML &BC laws) and he is currently being jailed at the expense of UK taxpayers like myself, so I don't understand how EFCC would have spent £14m to "convict" Ibori. Bunch of liars!

If they claim to have spent that much, then how much did UK's government spend to secure the conviction of Ibori, his lawyer (who helped in concealing the funds), his wife and his mistress? undecided

I expect Ibori to be tried and convicted by a competent court in Nigeria and then sent to a Nigerian prison for Bribery, Corruption and Money Laundering. Only then can EFCC boast of spending any money on his "conviction". angry

**modified**
So apparently he brought up the money spent on Ibori's conviction by the UK government to justify the budget for EFCC? What's the bloody sense in that? Bloody f00ls.

It's obvious they are looking for justification so as to get a fat budget which we all know will end in private bank accounts.

Hey Ralph, did you attend Univ. Of Calabar? Your have a friend's name. However, if you aint the one, sorry I bothered you.

Politics / Re: I Am Yet To See Chaos, As INEC Postpones Elections by Stoical: 5:28pm On Feb 08, 2015
MalcoImX:
So you want to see chaos? It won't happen! Some people are saying that all these provocations are intended to make them react and the government will respond with full force to crush them. The problems that will follow will then be used as a pretext to be draconian and will serve PDP's agenda of never relinquishing power. So they're saying they won't be provoked - they'll patiently wait for another six weeks , to vote out PDP.
APC itself has realized this. That's why you always hear them begging and calming its supporters not to be provoked.

I hope so...buh I didnt make those comments. Just wondering what was the need for those threats in the first place. In feel APC should've continue calming and maturedly garnering more supports instead of making statements like the previously made ones. Well, we all learn by the day and I guess those that made those will learn to control their words....#electionthingsshaa

MalcoImX your propaganda is amusing anyways...

Politics / I Am Yet To See Chaos, As INEC Postpones Elections by Stoical: 12:20pm On Feb 08, 2015
I still remember a lot of threats and counter threats that followed the news of an impending postponement of elections in Nigeria. Now that its true, I really would wanna see, as I have been wondering what will cause chaos. I also heard that Gov. Ameachi of Rivers state threatened to go on the street to protest...I hope he does that with his family members, as I implore Nigerians to be peaceful and hope for the best, even as they still should keep their PVC and vote for their preferred candidates.

Note, if security chiefs can't guarantee security and Mega goes ahead with the elections...any mishap would have been on Jega's head and I think its wise as it also gives him time to even do better in terms of PVC circulation and other strategizing.

Well, I hope people will allow peace to rain and stop unnecessary polity charging in negative ways...

Politics / Really, APC Should Groom A Younger Nigerian For 2019 by Stoical: 11:10am On Feb 02, 2015
Dear Nigerians,

When you go through this, you'll realize its my personal burden or wish. As such, you'll see a lot of "I".

Buhari deserves a serious commendation for pushing PDP thus far; with regards garnering supports all over Nigeria, unlike when he was in CPC. I think political-wise, APC has got good structures to give PDP a run for their money and I believe Nigeria is on that path to producing better democrats. Intellects are now going into the field, and not necessarily being handpicked. Nigerian voters are also wise and power-embodied to vote in or vote out anybody who aint doing well. All these, I believe stem from the facts that someone has decided to allow the UMPIRE become unbiased. My only wish is that we grow beyond choosing our leaders based on Religion, Ethnicity or club affiliations but rather focus on his/her antecedents and what he/she can bring to bear given a chance or 2nd chance as the case maybe. Really, we are getting there.

Violence can only be curb by me and you deciding to act differently or tolerating/ignoring where necessary. Security agencies should be up and doing and citizenry should be averse with methods on how to help security operatives protect us. That is to say "heaven help those who help themselves".

Fortunately or unfortunately, with regards this coming 2015 election, pockets of violence may not be avoided as the atmosphere is already overcharged by our words, doings, etc.

The incumbent will retain its seat, amidst threats and other vices. The margin of lead will not be significant and I really wish the opposition had carried the day. But, this in a way is going to be good because, the Legislative arm of government will now have opposition as Majority, so as to checkmate the excesses of the Executive.

With all due respect to every party supporters/affiliates, this is my views, optimism and burden.

If I am proven otherwise, then part of what I express here is settled.

Long Live the Citizens of Nigeria
Long Live all good thinking Nigerians
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria

I so submit...(Respond if necessary with better ideas, visions, constructive-criticism, etc)

Politics / Re: A Tale Of Two Worlds: Paris And Baga Killings. (punch Newspapers) by Stoical: 11:49am On Jan 21, 2015
I like your writeup and as such, I had to reason with you, thus;

Just like you've posited. The president maybe having a lot to do with regards to who he chooses as his Chief of Staff (from my believe, such a person informs/advices him of who to and who not to employ...be it an adviser, director or if possible, ministerial post. Yes, I feel whoever is the COS has failed and as such the president should seek for a better replacement.

The Paris event may not be a good comparison to baga event...reason not unconnected to my above comments and also Nigeria is still growing to that level(pardon my pessimism, but we are slowly getting there).

I would want to say that there is a light at the end of the tunnel with regards to giving the populace power to choose their leader(it may not be bright enough). So, I give kudos to this government for that. And, I pray we can find a way to accept the outcome of this election without violence, irrespective of who wins. So that we can build from there... Because the challenges for whoever leads will always be juxtaposed between serving the whole country and trying to appease a section of the country, which the later shouldn't be the case.

Yeah! In as much as I blame the President, whom with all the resources within his reach, has failed to utilise such, in order not to be seen as stepping on toes. Thereby recording dismal results...I still excuse him for some few reasons and I feel he may...I stress MAY act differently with regards to those: corruption fighting wise, security wise, etc.

So, I submit!!!
