The analogy of a bank crash does not suffice here. A bank would likely crash due to wrong investment choices or an outright embezzlement of depositors funds by bank executives, leading to an inability to meet the depositors demand for their own funds.

MMM like a cooperative, is a community where a crash is fait accompli once the participants remove/withhold their funds. That is a crash due to de-funding, something that was perpetrated by the very beneficiaries of the system itself.
