If I was President, everyone will be forced to look inward for everything, including healthcare, education, and tourism. We can never have a healthy economy if all of our needs are being provided by international vendors. Even our petroleum products are obtained internationally despite that we produce crude oil locally. We can never develop with this constrained reality where we all have to seek foreign services because the local is unavailable or below standard. |
Where is Datti Baba-Ahmed? A very useless running mate who brought nothing to the ticket. |
Some overnight supporters who caught the fever while getting excited because a man from their region had the chance of clinching the presidency have decided that they carry a stronger "Obidient DNA" and have weaponized this narrative that being from a different ethnic group means you are a "traitor in waiting".He is talking about the likes of this lady who suddenly got excited about the very man she knew was a terrible Governor. Infact, she publicly held that opinion about him up to 2020, despite that he left office at the start of 2014. But by the time the same fellow became Presidential candidate, she had to love him being her tribesman.

Well stated. |
Yes! Showing humility and respect. Stooping to conquer. |
HitlerWasRight:You are the only one who understands what played out. The company stocks simply collapsed. Nothing to even do with Nigerian economy or dollar rate. Other companies since that time have since appreciated in Naira value. |
XerXers:Yes in this place, you can demolish market without tribal rancour. |
What is special about the picture? A Nigerian President in the company of another President (probably), and they have umbrellas held over both their heads by the aides/staff of that other President. |
I always knew this girl should have been left to the gutters where she belongs. What viewers saw in her razzness despite her education and claimed brilliance, is quite perplexing. |
Lagos State Government should demolish and build modern markets that would be designed to operate in a way to achieve the sanitary standards that these outdated markets can never meet up with. For instance, you cannot be building roads with very wide gutters and not expect that the drain would be full of refuse, which from time to time you then need to clear out with all these shutdown threats and sanitary exercise. Instead build the road with fully enclosed gutters that have drain opening covered by gratings to sift anything besides water. This is the logic to be applied to new market designs compared to the old markets that require a tedious exercise to get rid of waste generation not properly managed from source. All those rubbish we call market should be demolished. |
Begging a loser whose appeal was thrown out like dirty water? |
adioolayi:They had. |
Bullionaire:Man, by nature, is a political animal. |
Sad. Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio: a fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy: Credit: Shakespeare (Hamlet). Otulented:Imagine the kind of wicked and hateful souls that say they are the Obidients. No wonder they have no democratic freedom in their villages being controlled by a man from Finland. |
saintkel:Na tit for tat. His mob was always dragging Tinubu and anyone not supporting Obi from 2022 till date. |
AmehTsaev:Eyaah! The defeat humble you. |
AmehTsaev:You mean like the comedy of your political analyses that all fell apart? Tinubu is your President, while Atiku is left to attend weddings. |
He owes Atiku nothing, besides helping Atiku defeat Obi in Bayelsa. Now he has moved on to governance and left politics to the losers. |
I read a lot of assumptions and hearsay. |
She will be arrested if she ever steps foot on Nigerian soil after this statement. |
Solsix:Why are the SouthSouth and SouthWest Judges that have retired or died since 2020 not been replaced? What about those from the NorthEast and NorthCentral that have retired since 2020? Are they all Igbos? |
Gerhards:I know you lots just love that feeling of being persecuted. One of the psychological defeats your people suffered from the civil war. |
victorclean:We don't need a soothsayer to know where you belong. Many of you would be rehabilitated in due time. |
When you have no case, there is nothing to put forward. Baba olodo say he go prove that he won, yet never told the tribunal what number of votes he used to win. |
He appoint na wahala, he no appoint na wahala. These are the same people lamenting that there are slots to fill in the Supreme Court for over 6 Justices who have either died or retired. No matter who the NJC headed by the Yoruba CJN nominates and their geopolitical zones, they will still lament that Tinubu government appointed those who would work for him. |
Solsix:I have no issues with that. The last set of appointments to the Supreme Court was in 2020. Since then, many have retired while some have died. They are not all Igbos who retired or died. It happened across multiple regions. So there is obviously a shortage and a need to fill up the slots, so it has nothing to do with persecution of Igbos. |
Nice2023:All Supreme Court Justices who have either died or retired across all the different geopolitical zones have not been replaced also, since the last appointments were made in 2020. Are they all Igbos? |
AdamuKD:Na your type dey make retired Supreme Court Justice dey complain say their salary low, and nobody ready to correct the anomaly. You go say government wan bribe Judges. |
Truly we can cut costs, but every worker want more pay. Even retired Supreme Court Justice complained bitterly about salary. |
