tbh the drastic change in fortunes can be traced to the removal of Edo state's dep gov Philip Shuaibu from handling the team. Due to lingering issues between him n the gov, a number of portfolios that were hitherto under his purview have been taken from him lol. This ill conceived plan is a ploy to further worsen n exacerbate the students plight, and to also inflict immense pressure, misery and disillusionment on their mostly impoverished families, many of whom are struggling to stay afloat and satiate their hunger amidst all d calamitous n tumultuous economic woes currently ravaging our dear country... It's a given that appealing to the authorities n government for them to have a rethink, maybe a little reduction or for them to ultimately rescind this wickedly, unjust, brutal n draconian policy will end up in futility... So it's of no use begging, but let it be known to all and sundry, especially to those at the helm of affairs who sanctioned the exponential increase. To all intents and purposes, it reeks of sadistic motives that will end up having far reaching and negative ramifications.
This is obviously a final nail to the coffin of the educational aspirations of many prospective students to the institution, who are financially constrained and do not have the wherewithal to commit to such an expensive venture. Its not out of place to point out that this is a shattering and idevastating death knell to the lofty dreams of many youths to acquire a decent education, to try and make something for themselves in this country, where opportunities do not abound to brilliant but financially crippled students, who are handicapped by various exigencies.
Away from all these vexatious shenanigans, on a lighter note hope September 11 for Ujemen still dey bubble sha? Shoutout to Dajem sure plug lol. Special hailings to Ekpoma best, the one n only Madam No Shaking for Ukhun road...
