Religion / Re: "Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos Is World's Richest Man & He Doesn't Tithe"- Daddy Freeze by stuhporh: 4:59pm On Jan 14, 2018 |
Okay, maybe there are teachings that’s pastors used to cajole their memebers, I have no idea. But what I know for sure is why tithing, who is it for? What is the justification? Tithing as explained in the Bible meant for the levites. Forget about the store room because it deeply complicate your mind. When you pay tithes and offerings to church is supposed to take care of the church finances which includes the pastors and their family. The levites in this case is the family of your pastors in church. Read 1 Corinthians 9. You will understand the expectations of any man working as a pastor in the church which is very valid based on GODs plan to devise a means for how the pastors in the church earn a living. Apostle Paul expressly talked about how they have the right to eat out of your fruits as you eat out of their own spiritual fruits. The ways you take care of. Your pastors is through the tithe and offerings you give. Do you think GOD will send food and money to the table of your pastors coz he is holy? No! HE expects you as someone who understands and love his GOD enough to obey him that, we should use our financials to feed pastors and their family. Summary, two kinds of people will be caught in freezes fight against tithing. People that doesn’t like the fact that pastors are doing so well and better that themselves, whom go to work to make money everyday, if you are in this category stop pay tithes and offering and stop going to church. Second category is pastors that wholly depends on their manipulation of the word of GOD to get tithes and offerings from their memeber. Which one are you? Aha read 1corinthian 9 |

Congratulated yourself for being able to identify a problem. However, in order to avoid complication of your problem. Keep it to yourself and fight your battle alone. There’s isn’t any relationship between darkness and light. Create a genuine relationship with GOD such that you can feel his presence when you call him. Live right by adhering to his commands, respect him and call on him to seek his face every time. You can fast if you want. But my advise to you is to genuinely develop a relationship with GOD. If you do, there’s no way darkness will be where GOD his. All the stories about the people that loved GOD and had problems were persecution which is either because of human hatred or GOD sanctions on it to test your love for him. Develop it, talk to him without a pastor and he will do it. This isn’t religion this is you and GOD relationship. |

admax: I will rather pay thousands of naira to laugh in a secular show, than laugh in the house of GOD when mockery is intertwined with comedy. Meanwhile the house of GOD is a place to worship and listen to the word of GOD only. The bible talks about how Jesus scattered everyone trading, jesters etc in the temple. He did that because it's not the house for jesting. How do you know what is boring to GOD and what is not. Does GOD laugh to your jokes, bible also says His ways are not ours, don't blasphem or speak for GOD. Speak for yourself only. Remember what happened to the guy who helped to prevent that ark of covenant from falling? Don't assume for GOD. He doesn't need you to, just take the laws given and play it out outrightly. HE doesn't joke. Yes Doctrines are man made. But show me where you have read or heard anything else be preached in the house of GOD or gathering where Jesus Christ was preaching and they had jokers and all those dramas. I would like to add, I don't think apart from praising GOD, preaching about GOD, encouraging ourselves through faith clinics programs, organizing charity ptograms, we have any other business in the church as xtians. Today,, very few churches still do this in totality. |

It's pretty funny how everyone has become the solution to Nigerian economy. But must you resolve to insult, abuse, name calling before making your point. Most comments on this thread are either about dullard, or body odor or something. There is no one with solution, so why don't you take out the name calling and complain and rant as much as we want. Buhari is everything we blame. I wonder what the lawmakers are doing to provide policies that propels jobs, support small business owners. This policies are major drivers of any economy because they actually enable and empower the will of the citizens to strive and work. And in turn improves the economy I have said this time and time again, yes electricity is the number one thing, but when China was in this situation, it was the citizens that ended up doing a lot for their counttry not the other way round. I am disappointed in the app administration to a fault. But I vote for our self re-orientation and rededication. Let's get the senators to do their jobs and we will get what we want as a country. As far as am concerned, there are too much job opportunities in this country for joblessness to be a in an all time high. Before you abuse me, plus ask me why first of all. |

Politics / Nothing Is Real In Nigeria, We Live In An Un-real Society by stuhporh: 12:41pm On Sep 06, 2016 |
I remember having a discussion with some of my friends. Biyi Babalola and Tunde Bolarinwa will remember that sometime between, in the late summer/early fall of year 2015 where I was so convinced our dear country will hit recession. Based on the information that was everywhere yet, not so many could see it. where do I start to highlight and point out the flaws of the past administration that contributed to this fall and the policies of the current that failed to cushion the effect, but I won't go into that. Arguably, pdp is reponsible for the fall of Nigeria economy, but, Apc is equally involved. However, you and I will be quick to detach ourselves from any motion suggesting are aquaintance with the present state of our dear country. Meanwhile you and I remain the primary cause of this economical derail. In my prep for a political career,I have been searching for the right ideas, solution, policy, actions, the effect of the policy both positive and negative. Trying to understand the behaviour of an average Nigerian, why we think the way that we do, why we react slightly differently from widely accepted way of reasoning, why do we seem to be contented in a absymal way of life and standard of living? No matter the question I asked mys3lf, or ask people, there is only one word that encapsulate the problems we have today, in our country but I will use two so we understand ourselves. "Overated" and "mirage" . I hope am able to implement this to form a foundation on which a right society exists in Nigeria. Everything in this country is not real, we are not even been real with ourselves within a family of 3. The cars that will drive, the clothes we wear, the businesses we run, the houses we buy, the shoes we run after, the policies we implement are all either "overrated" or a "mirage? (unrealistic ). There were reports showing improvement of gdp, reports on poverty alleviation, reports on medical service improvements, take a look at the cost of house rental, price of food, price of services offered against the quality you get, look atvthe fashion entrepreneurs who don't understand that they are still building an empire and they need to start small, instead wants to go shoulder to shoulder with Zara in price. Little business's owner wants a quick break to buy his finest cars within months. Schools are teaching obsolete technologies and researches yet they charge in dollars or high prices for the crap they teach. etc. Nothing!! Is real here, its all overrated. We never really tackled anything in this country except for Ebola which is a proof that an average Nigerian is not yet threatened by anything unless it's life threatening. Little do we know that our lives, and that of our children unborn is being threatened, the future of this country is being threatend, the identity and pride of this country is being threatened . And when all we stand for as a people is no more, I wonder what life itself will mean for us. A sustainable continuous improvement and systemic process is needed to be applied in everything. A stick and carrot judgement and a now now fix, or a deal as it arises kind of process will not work. Continuous probing of past and present polticians will not work. It doesn't change anything. A re-orientation (and I don't mean spending millions of naira organising bogus re-orientation events) is what we need. This is instigated by revisiting the laws of the country to be fair to and and keep everyone in check. A politician can not receive an average Nigerian salary for 10 years in a month and you expect a change, no, you won't get it. You know why? Because the system is wrong. A guy who works more hours on the farm, producing quality produce earns 10x less than an entry level cashier at a bank. The system is not fair!!!! Let us all get up say no to unfair government rule, we have a right to demand what we want, we have a right to say how we want it. Imagine there is no immunity for government officials, and their salary is fair and normal. The scam they put in our face will move from government quaters to some other quaters, and the system will still not give them a chance. Am not saying it will remove corruption 100% from our government but it can reduce it up to 80% We can work out if we work together, God bless Nigeria! Share it |

PapaBrowne: is it the same video we watched? if you understand that him, you will know that the genesis of the problem is as a result of subsidy owed to marketers which they managed to pay part of it by november, and it was too late at the time because forex already became very limited. what are you saying. Marketers whom are suppose to do the 60% balance couldnt because of limited forex, NNPC had to be responsible for 80%, Ibe was able to get some forex approval for marketers to ease the stress as nnpc can not do it alone. and now vessels are coming in. Politics / Re: Rivers Rerun: PDP Berates INEC Over The Spate Of Inconclusive Elections by stuhporh: 8:31am On Mar 22, 2016 |
[quote The Peoples Democratic Party said on Monday that the conduct of the Independent National Electoral Commission and security operatives in Saturday’s National and State Assembly rerun elections in Rivers State fell short of the expected standard, given their level of mobilisation and preparedness. The party said it was disappointing that INEC, under the leadership of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has not been able to conduct any conclusive election in few constituencies and states so far since he assumed office. In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, PDP wondered what the case would be when the entire country is involved in the election. He said, “Also grossly unacceptable is the shoddy work by security operatives leading to escalation of violence, avoidable deaths and eventual cancellation of election results in eight local government areas in the state.” Metuh said the nation and the international community should hold INEC, security operatives and the All Progressives Congress responsible should there be a breakdown of law and order in the state over the non-release of the final results. He alleged that the only reason for the seizure of the results was the fact that the PDP candidates were in clear and overwhelming victory in all the election, and action he alleged prompted the APC, in connivance with INEC, to seek to use the delay to manipulate the results. Metuh said, “Nigerians and the international community can now see the desperation of the APC, which has now arm-twisted INEC in the unholy bid to alter the results of the elections and subvert the will of the people. “We want the APC and INEC to mark the salient fact that the PDP, the people of Rivers State and indeed all Nigerians are already aware of the results from respective polling centers, wards and local government areas and will in no way whatsoever accept any final result that does not tally with the actual and already established figures from the polling units. “We wish to remind the APC and INEC that Rivers State is a known stronghold of the PDP and the results from the elections cannot show otherwise. “INEC should therefore understand that Nigerians are aware that in withholding the final results, they are ostensibly preparing grounds for chaos in the state. “While we invite all to note the avoidable growing tension occasioned by the desperation of the APC to steal the mandate of the people, we caution INEC to extricate itself from the evil web and immediately release all the final results of the ballot as cast by the people and nothing more.”/[/quote] @ the bolded got me thinking, the shallowness and lack of depth in their press release is next to crap. and these ones are going to represent constituencies yea? |

There are a lot of comments I would like to quote on this thread, but I wont. There are some things you cannot just open your mouth to criticize. you have to think a lot. Do you think a British man will just open his mouth to tell his LORD that bokoharam has been dis harmed in some areas of Nigeria without verification? Do you really think they are not aware of the gross misconduct and corruption that is part of an average Nigerian. You really think they just hear from a Nigerian that boko haram is loosing and they will take your word for it? They investigate such before saying it. they are not Lai Lai Mohammed or Fayose that just says what they feel or heard. That is not because they cant decide to be like the two I mentioned, but there are processes they must follow, its the result of these processes that you see or hear them reporting as findings to their LORD. Meanwhile somewhere in VGC, you are seated behind your pc reading nairaland or punch online and you come out here to say things anyhow. Nigerians have to learn to think, ask yourself if you should speak or not, if I speak is it worth it, if its worth it does it make sense. bye |

Zceesneh: I agree totally with you. I also think donjazzys beat is not the main thing that kicked dbanj up and I dont think dbanjs talent or ability moved donjazzy up. I think two of them worked together on every track to perfect every line. e.g they tune a bit to accommodate dbanj low tone on a line or suggested a word or two that will make that line more catchy, better still dbanj tells jazzy to add one kind of sound bla bla, their friendship made it work. Dbanj cannot enjoy that again, yet he will make another hit working with better producers, legendary, sarz, all these boys. Dbanj had the swag and marketing skill to market their brand and bring everyone on board to support mohit. Donjazzy still enjoys that to day so is dbanj enjoying the jazzy effect. I wonder what happens when the fans depletes all their appetite for Jazyys kind of new music and he isnt conquering new fans. |
