Goddex: GEJ is performing really big on roads, airports, fuel supply, railway, economy, power, agric, etc

Buhari is an old cargo and has got nothing to offer. Idiagbon was the pillar of that administration. The very moment he was out of the country was the time Babangida kicked Buhari out like a woman.
You are very Right.

This is splendid. It would do us a lot of good in Nigeria if landlords can carry out investigations on their prospective tenants before accommodating them in their properties.
God bless Nigeria.

Ola17: The 2 landlords named in the post are surely Muslims. They don't mind evicting their brothers in faith for the safety of the community. This appears to be the only solution at hand now no matter how crude it may appear. In Yorubaland, humanity comes before religion.
it is sad to note also that in the north a typical yoruba muslim is not recognised as a true muslim my his fellow hausa/fulani muslim. As a matter of fact, many of the yoruba muslims were killed by this same hausa/fulani's during the various crisis in jos especially.

Ijeoma Obasi: @ochu, wise one. this really will not help the situation. Ijora landlords will eventually create more problems for the people and the govt with this development. it now means that thousands will be displaced which will increase nuisance in streets of lagos. the main thing is just for Lagosians and every Nigerian to remain vigilant, security conscious and try to avoid crowdy places @ this critical momment.
You are right but a better suggestion is to deport all those Aboki's without a legitimate business back to katsina, borno or kano state. It would really save us a lot of headache seriously.

supereagle: Many landlords in Ijora, Lagos may have decided to evict tenants of Northern extraction, following Thursday’s arrest of a Chadian and four other suspected terrorists in a raid by over 100 soldiers and secret service agents in the community.

During the raid on 24, Aromire Street in the densely populated community, the soldiers and secret service agents reportedly found an improvised explosive device, AK47 rifles, cartridges and daggers.

It was learnt that two persons were arrested at 24, Aromire Street and three others at a location in an adjacent street.

This created panic in the community, with many of the residents saying there might still be more suspects living among them.

During a visit to the area on Friday, Saturday PUNCH did not notice any security presence on Aromire Street, where the raid was conducted or surrounding streets.

Ijora noticeably has a high population of Nigeriens, Chadians and Northerners.

A landlord, Alhaji Ibrahim AbdulKareem, told our correspondent that one of his tenants, a Northerner, had been living in his house for two years.

“He has never caused trouble for me but how can I be sure he does not have a link with these people? I’m not sure I will let him finish the nine months he has left. My life and that of my family members are important to me,” he said.

Another landlord, Alhaji Bashiru Igbalaye, said, “No, no, nobody is going to hide a bomb in my house. I’m not even sure whether the one is my house is from Niger or Katsina. But he has to leave by the end of this month.

“We are all afraid right now. We have been living with two of the suspects probably for many years. Who knows how many are still here?”

This is absolutely a good step in the right direction. If you allow them, they would take over and destroy the whole place like a virus! That was how we lost Jos to them sadly.

All of them. Can't you see that there is relative peace in kaduna now, this is because Kaduna christian youths don't spare the life of any Aboki at the event any boko haram strike. if you can't deal with them, deal with any of their brother.
Politics / Re: OPC Will Defend Yorubaland From Boko-Haram by sublimes: 7:33pm On Mar 24, 2013
Billyonaire: Just so we are clear. There is no possibility of OPC being able to defend anyone against Boko Haram, those OPC people I see at my friends' Estate gates with dane guns cant stand an AK47 totting 19yrs old, talkless of a Golf car stucked with explosives by a suicide Bomber. They should rather inform their Hero, Tinubu to cease all alliances with the Boko Haram nominated spokesman, Buhari and unequivocally reject his calls for Amnesty for Boko Haram. Boko Haram are not good muslims, those are extremists using Islam as a cover. A word is enough for the wise, if the West loses Lagos, they are gone for ever. We of the Niger Delta can handle our own, cos we share nothing in common with Boko Haram's kindreds, we share no religion. We do not look like them, we do not marry them. So we can easily spot them and decimate them. This is me getting tribal. Shows am frustrated.
It seems you've forgotten so quickly what happened in sagamu some years back. I don't think this time around the OPC would be lenient to our Aboki's

You can not believe the extent an anger management class would help, non of your rants negate the fact that Yoruba elite base are of the Muslim stock which is understandable because they are the majority. yeah! blah blah blah Awo-Christian, Mko Abiola-Muslim, ObJ-christian, Tinubu-Muslim Fashola - muslim, Lateef Jakande- muslim.... you start to wonder who brought all these fine religious blend together and taught them all how to be kissing the the buttt of Hausa Fulani Muslims( which also does not negate my point that Yoruba Muslims has been playing dumb), OBJ Made it a do or die affair to rig in Yaradua, Let us not even talk about Awolowo.

Yeah! talking about who is miles ahead of who, you decide, even with all the execute power the presidency brings; not you the South Western Nigeria, not the Northern Nigeria could come up with the first Nigerian Indigenous Vehicle Manufacturing Company we did it in the East, that kind of stuff is over your heads, cause you lack the brain power to carry out that type of project.

Doctors make double the money that engineers make and with medicine you can easily get a job outside the shores of Nigeria and be a top citizen of the country.
Go for medicine if you can get in and engineering as a Plan B
Guy, I believe your colleagues who work in the oil and gas companies would object to your statement. Just pray to be engaged in a good engineering coy, you will enjoy engineering to the core! I am enjoying engineering.

eddy1977: I respectfully disagree with you poster because the only sin that leads to hell is the sin of rejecting jesus. John 16:8
The word of God teaches us that only by grace are we saved. Ephesians 2:8
Not by "not sinning", but by his grace . This doesn't mean that we should go out and live like heathens.
Religion has blinded many Christians for so long by teaching that we must earn our way to heaven.if we r holy enough.
God doesn't let you in heaven because you were blameless and holy. He only let's you in heaven if Romans 10:9 is a reality to you.

This is simply the gospel of grace and salvation. We are justified not by our works of righteousness but by the finished work of Christ. Just by believing in christ Jesus, I am saved.
