How would the educational system be improved if we still have in place this obsolete curriculum?? Why is ASUU not fighting for a change in the university curriculum that would address our modern challenges?? What the Nigerian Educational System needs is not more money but a change of mindset... Even if the Govt injects all the money in the world today in to the university system, would it stop admission frauds? Will the employment of lecturers be based on ethnicity, religion, "man know man" or on merit? You will be amazed at the calibre of lecturers In some universities in the north, lecturers recruited based on religion and ethnic background who find it very very difficult to express themselves. I wonder the kind of knowledge they would impact. We have equipments in our universities that are yet to be commissioned just because nobody can operate them and yet you clamour for more....we keep recycling handoutzs every year with no research work done... Pls the challenges are so numerous, we need a total overhauling of our mindset.

Many who complain about the government have never done anything in their life time to add value to Nigeria. Let us be the change we crave for in nigeria. In our own little way, we can do something positive and inspire the younger generations. Many are becoming legitimate millionaires in Nigeria today, many are touching lives today in Nigeria, let us check inwards and ask ourselves, what have I done to improve Nigeria today?

There are many places in that your sh1thole one can’t go without security escort. I was at the Lagos Sheraton a few years ago, and saw heavily armed policemen storm the lobby with some white folks. Initially, I thought your president was coming or something like that. It was then that I realized they were escorting a British Airways crew on a stopover! Can you imagine that!

I also remember my meeting with Gov.Ngige in Awka in 2005 at Govt House. I was told I couldn’t drive out with my driver to my hotel without police escort at 3 am. Who needs an escort to move around in any part of Ghana- day or night?

You want to know how Ghana is faring, as compared with Nigeria? Let’s take the United Nations Human Development Report for 2012. The well-being of a country and its people is not measured by how many mansions, skyscrapers, how large their parties are or indeed the height of their the geles, or how often you throw obscene parties etc.

It is measured by how many of your citizens have access to quality education, motorable roads, health care, food, potable water, well-paying jobs( just heard PhDs are seeking jobs that pay N25,000?), life expectancy, access to toilets, personal security, access to electricity etc.
