PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Others To Close Businesses In Zimbabwe By January 2014 by Subom1(f): 10:07am On Nov 24, 2013
rexbuton: Infact I have... I lived and worked with an R and D firm in bulawayo . Zimbabwe used to spearhead african economy before their independence, But mugabe has changed all that... As at last year, the gdp was around $3OO, it has risen slightly now, their dollar is no longer in the market because it has completely lost value! The only thing they have left is their education! Bro, rhodesia was a great nation, But zimbabwe is not
Bro huh Anyways i hear you but i was not really referring to GDP but rather Infrastructure as you mentioned "Is zimbabwe as developed as Any 2nd tier city in Nigeria"
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Others To Close Businesses In Zimbabwe By January 2014 by Subom1(f): 10:00am On Nov 24, 2013
shymexx: Nigeria can't compete. Even Angola is far ahead of Nigeria and the country fought a brutal civil war that ended in the 90s for more than 30 years.
The truth is most Southern African countries and those who got their independence late are more developed than West African countries but that is another topic for another day.

rexbuton: back in the day...
Nigeria too was great back in the day, so does that mean our country today has no developed places?
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Others To Close Businesses In Zimbabwe By January 2014 by Subom1(f): 9:51am On Nov 24, 2013
shymexx: Word.

rexbuton: There are so many similarities between zimbabwe and the country described in george orwell's 1984... If not that nigerians are wanderers, Is zimbabwe as developed as Any 2nd tier city in nigeria? Dey should leave and go back home, because When they start killing them, there's nothing You Can do, mugabe doesn't even believe in diplomacy in the first place
You really need to travel. Zimbabwe used to be one of the best if not the best country in Africa back in the day(Rhodesia). They also have the best literacy rate in Africa.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Others To Close Businesses In Zimbabwe By January 2014 by Subom1(f): 9:09am On Nov 24, 2013
shymexx: I don't it's a 1 month thing. The law has been there since 2007. And I believe they would have liaised with all the business owners before now. It's probably just hitting the media now. Add the hatred the western media have for Mugabe and Zimbabwe to the equation, because of the white farmers thingy, and you would understand why the whole issue is being sensationalised.
Okay I hope so. If that"s the case then fine but this was the part that got to me: ZIMBABWEAN authorities say they have given foreign shop-owners mostly Nigerians and Chinese an ultimatum to shut down their businesses by Jan. 1.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Others To Close Businesses In Zimbabwe By January 2014 by Subom1(f): 8:52am On Nov 24, 2013
Chartey: Most people saying it's a bad policy are just being sentimental. It's not just any business they're talking about, it's only for RETAIL businesses. Retail businesses are mostly meant for locals because no special capacity which can't be found in the country is needed for those. Most countries in the world have such laws. Maybe Nigeria even has and doesn't enforce it. This is no persecution. I'm just tired of people doing business illegally in other countries only to cry foul and play the persecution card when the law catches up with them.
GBam! The main issue I have is that this is too short notice. 1 month is not even time, they could have at least given more time for ppl to get their ish in order.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians, Others To Close Businesses In Zimbabwe By January 2014 by Subom1(f): 8:15am On Nov 24, 2013
If people want to chase others out of their country. At least can they give ppl reasonable time so that the person can settle all matters etc because 1 month is not enough time for that. These are the same people who cry and curse at South Africans for doing the same thing that they are doing now! Hypocrites!!!
RomanceRe: Guys How Do You Treat Unannounced Visit By A Girl. by Subom1(f): 9:48pm On Nov 23, 2013
This is soo typical. You did not see anything wrong with exchanging numbers with a strange girl you just met and invited her over to your place(very obvious what went down), now that she is bothering you, you are crying foul. Next time think with the right head! There are a lot of crazy ppl out there, every action has a consequence. I have a feeling you only told her about your girlfriend after her first "visit" if not then its really crazy how someone can still pursue and run after an unavailabe man. Men do it a lot too so I guess some foolish women are stupid enough to go for such too. I hope she continues to bother you and give you a hard time so that next time you will remember that you have a girlfriend!!
CelebritiesRe: Akon And Wizkid Turn Away Dark Skinned Models From Video Shoot In Ghana by Subom1(f): 9:59pm On Nov 19, 2013
The dark skinned models should thank them and use the opportunity to go back to school and learn a profession.
what a dumb and ignorant thing to say. Not all models are uneducated, besides that is what they want to do, just like singers/actors etc.
CelebritiesRe: Akon And Wizkid Turn Away Dark Skinned Models From Video Shoot In Ghana by Subom1(f): 8:55pm On Nov 19, 2013
This is coming from a guy(Akon) who is as black as night! How ironic. This is absolutely disgusting. Even though physically we are free from slavery, mentally we are still enslaved.

kandiikane: Dont tell me you are against homosexuality. sad

Sagafuckface, long time, i see you are still spewing nonsense on homosexual threads. Just come out of the bloody closet already.

How does the picture and topic correlate to the link?
Foreign AffairsRe: Gay Africans Are Entitled To Asylum In The EU by Subom1(f): 12:15am On Nov 14, 2013
Sagamite: What a professionally stuupid comment.

How does stating lack of interest in adopting homosexuality equal to a wish that your country remains the worst country on earth?

Is this one of those moronic assertions that acceptance of homosexuality is the metric of "progress", "civilisation" or "development"?

You can sell such stuupid arguments to fucktards like Scun, not me. Don't put such across again.

So because I like living in the UK, that means I have to support everything about the UK?

I have to even say I like the fact that kids slap their parents because I choose to live in the UK?
Gbam, thank you! That was such a stupid comment. I weep for some people!
