thelastorca: Stop pretending you did not go to a Nigerian university. The lecturers have all the power. If a lecturer decides to mess with you, there is very little you can do. Who are you reporting him to? A jury of his peers. There is little limit to the malice of these old men.
Did you not see the way Boniface was leering throughout his videos?
It is not about brilliance but about abuse of power. It is the same reason why so called olodos leave this country and pass with flying colors abroad.
All these stories about girls dressing. So if you see money on the street, you will automatically pick it? If you are provided with an opportunity to do yahoo yahoo, you will jump on it? Don't mind them. Missing script is enough to deal with any student |

mayordy: Good day people,
A month ago, I suddenly started feeling pain in my chest and dizzy eyes and numb palms and feet, I thought it was shortness of blood because I have been stressed for the past 6 months waking up out of bed getting into traffic to work and coming back in traffic late at night.
The chest pain feeling like my heart skipping a beat still didn’t go away, i couldn’t get a sound sleep every morning I wake up unrefreshed and tired through out the day
I checked my blood pressure one day at the pharmacy and it was abnormally high and I’m just 26 I went to the doctor and conducted PCV to check my blood count, malaria test and fasting sugar, all came out normal, he suspected angina so I also did an ECG which also came out normal, the doctor gave me paracetamol, vitamin B12 capsule and since then that is how I have been frequenting the hospital, each time the blood pressure still high.
Last week I was still at the doctor last Thursday and my BP was 148/96 at my age, yet the doctor doesn’t really tell me much he just keep prescribing the same sleeping pills and vitamin B12 and iron capsule.
Right now I presently can’t help myself to sleep, my day is always filled with fatigue, headache, dullness, I lose concentration at work, I can’t seem to get anything done because my eyes get heavy and my head be pounding me seriously. I don’t know what is going on I’m gradually losing the sharp young man I used to be.
Please, I don’t know if anybody has gone through a phase like this or if we have experienced doctors in the house please.
Please I need all the help I can get Please, if you masturbate stop it and thank me later |

36STATES: I studied in Belgium, Netherlands and UK. University rankings (THE) is always biased in favour of English speaking schools (UK, USA, Australia etc). One major defect in the ranking is the "popularity of the university" as a criteria. For the fact that most people around the world speak English and watch English movies, that has surely translated into fairly good knowledge about many things English, including their culture, schools etc. How many people in Nigeria can name any school in the Dutch, French and Asian speaking countries?
The quality of tuition I received in UK is a far cry when compared to what I got in Belgium and Netherlands. My stint in Holland was brief, it was a Fulbright 5 months exchange, but the quality is second to none. In UK, pass mark is 39%, and most people pay essay writers to pass exams. Not only that, 95% of most exams are essay, which nobody fails except you are a complete fool.
In Belgium and Netherlands pass mark is 50%, and you have to sit a proper exam and defend it before your lecturer, which is known as oral exam. Very very difficult to pass exams there without studying for it. Their exam questions are selected to cover the whole lecture, there is nothing like choose 3 from 5 questions. So to pass, you must cover the whole model. I still got distinction from a UK university even though I put 1/4 of what I did in Belgium. I quite agree with you. Both QS and THE are UK owned newspapers and are out there to campaign for English speaking universities particularly UK universities in order to deceive Asian rich kids. Their indices of ranking is quite biased to favour English speaking countries. If you look at other ranking like Reuter ranking which is based on patents and innovations, and financial success of the said patent German univeristies trumped the UK; infact the most innovative university in Europe for years is in Belgium( https://graphics.reuters.com/EUROPE-UNIVERSITY-INNOVATION/010091N02HR/index.html0. Also employability ranking created by a French firm and usually published by THE, German univeristies beat UK again and other countries are well represented too across Europe and world in general https://www.timeshighereducation.com/student/best-universities/best-universities-graduate-jobs-global-university-employability-ranking. The ranking usually ask HR of world leading companies which university graduates do they prefer to hire. QS and THE use metrics that will favour their own universities. I wonder what popularity has to do with a university being good

Seun: At 9:00pm today, Serena Williams and Bianca Andreescu will meet to decide the winner of the 2019 US Open tennis tournament, a Grand Slam.
Serena Williams is the famous 37 year old American who has won 23 grand slams and hopes to get a 24th one. She is the greatest female tennis player of all time. She famously lost to Naomi Osaka in the final last year and had a meltdown. Since then, she has reached the final of the French Open only to be beaten badly by Simona Halep.
Her opponent, Bianca Andreescu is a 19 year old Canadian who won Indian Wells at the beginning of the Year and met Serena Williams for the first time at the Toronto Open last month. Serena had to retire due to back pain when Andreescu was leading the first set 3 - 1, making Andreescu the Toronto Open champion of 2019.
Serena is known for her serves, which are often unreturnable due to their placement and power, her service returns, and hard-hitting play. Bianca Andreescu is known for her incredible confidence and composure, great variety in her play, power, and an ability to find a way to win every match.
If you're watching the match, you can discuss it here. Steffi GRAF is the best woman tennis player of all time |
