Sorry about the stooling and itchy eyes dear. The drugs had that same effect on my DH, so its quite normal. But id advice you use the omeprazole with it like instructed.

Thank God the CBP officer told you that. That was what I was telling the person who wanted to use the Oakhurst Medical Center which is a center that offers discounts for uninsured and underinsured people. Those packages are for US citizens and residents and not for people coming here to give birth. It's akin to taking Medicaid cos their (Medical center) services are being subsidized by taxpayers dollars.

She was particular about the 'under insured' bit of the statement. Cos I remember her asking if I had insurance and I said no im self pay.
Now this is actually the only correspondence I have that says under insured..all my other correspondence from Texas and Chicago says its discounted cos its self pay. Does it mean that using the self pay option is accessing tax payers money?

In the spirit of giving back and scare the crap outta some people, I present my POE experience.

Flew Etihad to Chicago.

Check-in at MMA was swift and nice. I got fast tracked cos of my belle so the whole check-in was less than 5mins. They did not ask for fit to fly at Lagos.
Boarded the aircraft and we were delayed on the ground for 2hours. The cabin crew kept saying they were waiting for paper work but they were two NIS people at the door of the aircraft. Suddenly about 8 very suspicious ISIS looking bearded arabian men boarded the aircraft...To say the flight was uncomfortable would be an understatement At a point one naija passenger forming air Marshall had to go warn the guys not to leave their seats anymore.. . just incase they were planning to blow up aircraft ... Anyways, turns out the guys were denied entry into Nigeria and were being deported back to wherever they came from.
Got to Abu dhabi and I was informed I was selected for special screening (as indicated on my boarding pass). Went through abu dhabi immigration, there they checked my fit to fly but my doctor did not indicate if the pregnancy was a singleton or multiple but thank God I had my scan results with me. I was cleared through UAE immigration then I headed for US pre-clearance and was shocked to see so many people compared to my last trip. And no fast track sef even with my belle so I had to wait in line for almost 30mins.
CBP: hi
Me: How are you today
CBP: fine, thanks. What's the purpose of this trip today
Me: Child birth and annual vacation
CBP: Do you have any correspondence with a doctor
Me: No direct communication with the doctor, you only get assigned one upon arrival. Hand him my email correspondence with the patient 's services and the price quote. He types on the screen and hands me back the correspondence.
CBP: how much cash do you have on you
Me: eighty three hundred
CBP: place your right four fingers.....

I was already rejoicing the interview was over, but he dials a number and tells me he is sending me to immigration.
Secondary inspection:
Me: how are you
CBP: hi, what's the purpose of this trip
Me: Child birth and annual vacation
CBP: Do you have any correspondence with a doctor...
Me: Told her same thing I told the first guy
CBP: how much cash do you have..
Me: repeated same. I noticed she was just looking at me so I asked her if she wanted to see it and she said yes. I gave her the envelope and she counts the money. After counting she asked again how much I said it was and I answered. Na wa!
CBP: what cards do you have with you, I showed her my BOA card and she asks, oh you have a BOA account?
Me: Yea i do.
CBP: how much is on the card
Me: I hand her my account statement I printed out.
CBP: Do you not have any form of prove to show your communication with the hospital
Me: Yes I do and I hand her my correspondence and printed out OB delivery package...
CBP: Im going to let you in but be warned that although the hospital offered you this package, it is not their duty to enforce immigration laws. This statement (uninsured and under-insured) here refers to American citizens only and is funded by tax payers money. Please make sure you decline this offer and tell them you want to pay the full undiscounted price and have all your receipts else your visa would be cancelled
Me: ok.
CBP: Do you understand what I said
Me: Yes i do, thank you.

Had to wait an additional 20mins for agriculture...they threw away my ofada sauce

I don't think you are alone. BH is quite common in the 3rd trimester.
The advice is to take plenty water and change positions often.

Abeg make una help me, this 1st trimester no easy o.

I believe I read somewhere that flagyl causes discoloration of your baby's teeth..... please stay away from it. What was recommended for me by my doctor when I was purging was to drink lots of water. Keep drinking water and it would stop. But still check in with your doctor first.
