Hence if you are about to travel to the USA or are already there and you are a black Nigerian(not that I know of any other colors) especially a MALE,
Please do the following:

1. Pray before you leave Nigeria for the US. Yes you read me right. Pray very very hard. Make the witches and wizards in your village no follow you go .

2. Before you leave, cut your dreadlocks if you are wearing any. Better still, shave your head "gorimakpa". You don't want to be profiled with ndi rasta n'ese igbo. Oh yes!

3. Buy enough traditional native attires, your old asoebis come in quite handy. These will ensure you cannot sag your trousers even if by "mistake"

4. When you get to the US and you have to drive, abeg tape your driver's license and other documents on your forehead...I repeat...on your forehead to prevent " had I known"

5. Don't do silly things there like play loud music in your car or wear a face cap especially with the brim turned to the back of your head. It is an irresponsible and childish behavior done only by overgrown baby daddies

6. Be mindful of the people you carry in your car, make sure you all are looking sober constantly. Playing worship songs will help you tremendously here.

7. When pulled over, slowly stop at the shoulder of the road. Make sure your hands are on the steering wheel then freeze all parts of your body. Slowly turn your head that has ur particulars taped on it to the side the police man is standing on for full view of your papers.

8. Do not say a word. Yelz...don't speak except spoken to. Do as you are told. If told to dance azonto, with all pleasure, do so. DO NOT ARGUE. In this instance the cop is always right.

Yea.... The journey was quite stressful.
Id try and get something for the sinus. The cough was chesty cough but it seems to have cleared after the ginger tea... still taking warm water tho. Hot water showers have been a life saver.

Don't mind me. Went low when it happened. Just didn't want to share the news and was really down. But thank God it's all behind and ready to try again. It wasn't the fibroids. Long story but we give God all the praise. I had premature rupture and lost all the amniotic fluid. I haven't done anything about the fibroids as they are all outside. I guess stress added to the whole thing but I'm definitely carrying my twins to term next. Amen. How's LO and preparation for delivery. Counting down I guess! The Lord is your muscle.

Ok dear, really sorry for your loss. God would definitely give you double for your trouble and your babies would arrive on April 7th (my birthday) in Jesus name.

Yeah...saw him on Friday and he prescribed piriton and cefuroxime cos I had serious catarrh and itchy throat then. The cough just started yesterday evening.

When I had a nasty cough at my last trimester, Dr prescribed cough syrup for me o. First piriton and then cofex.
Just know cough and episiotomy are long term enemies. If dem jam for your body, you will willingly cut of either your jajaina or your throat.
When you see old woman coughing and crying or coughing and holding bombom, you wee fear

My DH's aunt recommended ginger and lime in hot tea. But I don't have lime at home at the moment so I only used ginger and tea.

I had cough and catarrh some weeks back. I refused taking any antibiotics since cough is either caused by cold or a virus. Antibiotics don't work for cough. I only chewed one seed of alligator pepper once and didn't bother myself again. I allowed live it's time of about 2wks.

And talking about paranoia, I felt so too. But I read that our LOs are well protected in our uterus. So the clenching of our abdomen when we cough doesn't hurt them. Even at that, I still worried a little.
God help we women.

Thanks dear. I left naija already so little things like palm oil and alligator pepper na gold to find. The antibiotics I brought from naija is about the only thing I have close by but id like to try home remedies for the same sentiments you had about cough being either a virus or cold.

Ginger, lime in tea. I don't think this is safe in pregnancy cos iv googled and did not find it as a safe remedy in pregnancy.
