Seun: Yes, please,Maybe the op is simply searching for a 'correlation' or 'causal relationship' between the price of garri and the topic in question. Some examples of topics: - Fuel Subsidy removal (price goes up - cost of transporting the garri to the market) - GEJ Cassave plan (price goes up - increased demand=increase in price of garri) - The 40 man laptop squad (Price goes up - due to their insatiable appetite for - No gold medals at olympics for Nigeria (price goes down as people turn to drink to numb their embarrassment) - Fashola rolls out some new fines (price goes down as demand for garri diminishes due to fines imposed on the common man) I think its called 'desktop research'. |
I blame 'Goodluck' . . . as one of the 'wenches' said - its because of the economy. Na fuel subsidy removal cause am - the inflation is too much for one guy to handle, |
The pic tells the whole story about this encounter . . . . See small boy (Buhari) running to greet a 'Great' (Ojukwu) . . . . Its like Ojukwu didn't even recognise him (Buhari) . . but just extended his hand anyway. Lovely pic |
Sincere 9gerian: President Jonathan should just ignore completely the few BLIND and DESTRUCTIVE critics, who by the way were the same persons that VEHEMENTLY opposed him during the 2011 elections. These blind critics are drawn from both ACN supporters in the south and CPC supporters in the north. The 2011 elections have since been concluded, votes counted and Jonathan WON overwhelmingly. The BLIND and DESTRUCTIVE critics have since refused to accept the fact that the 2011 elections had been WON and LOST. They CARRIED OVER the battle leading to that elections TILL DATE. What else would make someone, who does not know where Abuja is or how the villa looks like to be calling our president a DRUNK if not DEEP SEATED HATRED borne out of defeat they suffered in 2011 elections. The same DEEP SEATED HATRED that made Buhari refuse to attend the national council of state meeting since after the elections. I am convinced that Jonathan’s Presidency will remain a REFERENCE POINT to assess future presidents even100yrs from now. Already power is begining to stabilise and many cities are experiencing 24hrs power supply for the first time in the history of Nig. The trains are begining to come back gradually. Our education system is improving. Our democracy is stronger than ever due to electoral reforms carried out by Jonathan. Our police and army are begining to shine again.GEJ's attack dogs on the rampage: https://i.imgur.com/AxaPG.jpg |
The flood situation in Adamawa State worsened on Monday with the death toll in the disaster increasing as 15 bodies washed ashore the River Benue bank, in Jimeta—Yola, just as the state government commenced immediate evacuation of the communities along the bank of the River Benue across seven local government areas of the state. Adamawa State Secretary to Government, Chief Kobis Ari Thinmnu, told journalists on Monday that the state government was having serious crisis coping with the situation, as over 45 communities have been totally submerged. He appealed to the federal government through the National Emergency Management Agency to come to the immediate assistance of the Adamawa people, as the disaster was beyond the scope of the state government. Thinmnu said that it was unfortunate, that Nigeria has no bilateral protocol with the republic of Cameroom on the usage of the waters of Lagdo dam, adding that, the release of water by the dam authorities, every rainy season, has always caused enormous damage to the people of the state. He appealed to the federal government to approach the Cameroonian authorities so that modalities could be worked out, to remedy disaster situations, as the people of the state are always on the receiving end. He stressed that over N100million worth of properties have been lost to the current disaster, adding, that at leat 60 buildings had been reported to have collapsed in one local government alone. Other properties lost to the disaster included farms and livestock. In the meantime, the Adamawa State government, at the weekend, set-up a disaster management committee, to manage the situation as the water level continues to rise. The principal medical officer in charge of the Yola Specialist Hospital, Dr Bala Saidu, told THISDAY, that some victims of the flood were brought to the hospital's mortuary. He said it would be difficult to give an exact number of bodies so far recovered, because it was rising as the situation worsens. He however said as at the weekend, 15 corpses were deposited at the hospital. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/flood-situation-worsens-in-adamawa-as-15-bodies-wash-ashore-/123333/ |

Wickedness in the highest places . . . . . .Seems the 'Emir' son is a mass murderer. |
Trouble and tragedy hit the Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa on Friday, when three friends were found dead in the room of the Emir’s son. The bodies were identified as Ali Tajo, Mustapha Murtala and Nasiru Shehu, and it was reported that all three of them lived in the house owned by one of the sons of Alhaji Mahmoud Sayyadi, the Emir of Ringim. The alarm was raised by one Magaji Tambura, a bricklayer working at the house. He said that he and a friend stumbled on the scene when they came to pick materials that he used a day before. Magaji said that he knocked on the door, but there was no response, so he and other neighbours had to force the door open, upon which they discovered the bodies of the three friends. Residents of the area have been speculating on the cause of death; however, the matter has been reported to the police and the corpses taken to the hospital for autopsy. The Police Public Relations Officer of the Jigawa State Police Command, Abdu Jinjiri, said that the state police command had been informed of the matter but they were yet to get proper details from the Divisional Police Officer at the Ringim Local Government Area. http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/3-friends-found-dead-emir-son%E2%80%99s-house |
GenBuhari: I started losing respect for Mandela when he divorced his wife within months of his release from prison. A woman who waited 27 years for him.I dont think it was within months of his release - because I met both of them when they came to Nigeria after he was released. I actually shook both their hands and exchanged some words with them when they visited - Anambra.(before the state was divided into Anambra and Enugu states) I think they divorced because 'Winnie' was still a radical and 'Nelson' had turned soft. I'd suspect his personal assistant was/is a spy assigned to keep an eye on him and report to his 'masters' on his utterances. |
Freiburger: AUSTIN, Texas—With stunning swiftness, the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency said Thursday night it will strip Lance Armstrong of his unprecedented seven Tour de France titles after he dropped his fight against drug charges that threatened his legacy as one of the greatest cyclists of all time.So what drugs was he using? And how comes it was never detected for at least 7 years? This situation stinks - the guy will always be a legend as far as I'm concerned. |
Is Okonjo-Iweala also subject to these performance measures? Because if so her head will be the first to roll. Mrs Incompetence herself - with her big fat lying mouth and IMF biased brain. |
GEJ - Your woeful performance is what the media has highlighted. You can roll out whatever scheme you like - but the 'buck' stops with you. You've been slaughtered in the media - because its what you desrve. Once you do things that deserve praise you will surely get. PS: That your 'wife' hasn't helped your cause. |
Kenyaphilia: Mugabe is definitely greater..Mandela was hijacked by the West and they made a hero out of him as long as he gave them what they wanted...if you haven't seen, whites(within and without South Africa) worship Mandela and they do it for a reason..give me Mugabe any time.Very correct, |
Mugabe introduced an 'indigenization' policy. No mining company can operate without 51% of the company owned by indigenous people. You will never see police mowing down miners in Zimbsbwe - becuase the people own shares in the companies they work for. Compared to South Africa - where after apathied the 'whites' were left with everything they had stolen - including the best lands and mines. Mandela helped cause these prooblems for his people - they are still treated as second class citizens on their land. |
denzel2009: This is nothing jare, we have seen the white version of this before. They probably rejected or refused her incapacity benefit payment this month.Lol . . . . . Hope it wasn't you that cut of her 'income' . . .(puter says nooo) |
OAM4J: I got your PM and I replied to your mail.Seun don become 'Psychiatrist? Seun - congrats! @Op - Why dont you patrol the streets with a 'placard' bearing your message? |
Even the 'Crazy' ones amongst us are conscioous . . . . BoooommmBaaaaClaaaat! |
It must only be a fool that doesn't realise that 'Okonjo-Iweala' is the IMF's 'Economic Hit- Part of the 'West's' agenda - Even 'GEJ's' rise to President was backed by the 'West' and their vote-counting/rigging machines. Should have been obvious with the election results that are mathematically and statistically impossible to obtain (95% vote in nearly all Southern states?) |
Rosa Park 2 . . . . Lol, Think her message was clear - but the delivery left a lot to be desired. See how calm and composed the other passengers are - its like a normal everyday thing to them! |

Hmmmm . . . .Sokoto's oil or Nigeria's oil? Let see, |
The governor disclosed this on Monday while receiving the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, who paid him Sallah homage. “We will soon write the Federal Government on the issue with a view to complying with the necessary guidelines. “The oil deposits, when fully explored and exploited, will certainly boost the socio economic status of the people of the state as well as the nation’s economy.” The governor also promised the sultan that the state government would soon commence implementation of a new salary structure for traditional rulers in the 23 local government areas of the state. “A committee set up to look into the remunerations of traditional rulers in the state had completed its assignment. “We will soon come up with a white paper on the new salary for the traditional rulers and send a bill to the House of Assembly to legalise the package,’’ Mr Wamakko said. The sultan said his visit was to felicitate with the governor on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. He commended Mr Wamakko for giving special attention to the traditional rulers. “We are leaders representing the people, we must facilitate all efforts to further improve their living standard,’’ he said. The sultan commended the governor for providing new official vehicles to all the district heads and for the ongoing rehabilitation of their residences. http://www.channelstv.com/home/2012/08/21/well-soon-start-to-explore-our-crude-oil-deposits-sokoto-state-governor/ |
Santino1: This has nothing to do with disputing people on the pole or not, it has more to do with beauty of science itself.. All I did was offer another plausible explanation. Its not my field - but I rely more on eye witness accounts rather than theories. Those simple 'Inuits' described what they are witnessing on the poles - and it ties in with other earth changes. Likewise, 'Americans' seem to know that the poles are moving and are making relevant changes. Nigerian science is always behind - hence we speculate whilst they 'make statements' based on occurences. I'm not a geologists or even a scientists - but I take in info, analyse and then draw my own conclusions. I believe we're in the 'midst' of a change - how its defined is irrelevant. |
