PPR... Finally.

I came across this thread on Nairaland some months after AOR, in fact we were already PPR expectant and reading PPR/landing gists, gave me great joy.

To appreciate how long and frustrating this journey was, I'll say this:

I unexpectedly fell preggers like that my friend Linda . This was few months after AOR

We were excited about the intending Canny baby.

Let's sha say that AVO and Covid dashed that dream. That baby that was formed few months after AOR will clock one in a few months time.

E shock una abi... So you guys will appreciate how myself and many others waited for this PPR like no man's business.

It has definitely ended in Praise and Thanksgiving.

PPR will fall on every single one waiting by the grace of God. Amen

What could possibly cause delay in COPR...it got to ircc since 5th Nov 2020 uptill date nothing yet. But got a GU on my profile on 30th Nov.

Be patient. It is usually 4-6 weeks from landing gists I have read in the past.

Record timeline?...nahh. I know two 17th-Sep-2020 AOR that got PPR from AVO yesterday too

Una sha break record o. The earliest I knew of was 3-4 months post AOR. It will most definitely end in Praise and Thanksgiving. Amen

So I got a new heads-up on general applications today. Someones application was rejected for inconsistencies because his occupation on his marriage certificate read something and his occupation/work experience/work history read another thing. Who would have thought they connect the dot this way??

They sure do lucky dips where they pick any application and work on it, abi how do we explain these things. I hear say 2018 wey no get issue still dey wait with all parameters passed.

Has anyone received PR after March 2019 and was able to land successfully in Canada. Theres a form attached to COPR that says people should not land till restrictions are lifted.

Has anyone experienced this?

I know of one person that got PPR and landed last month. I have read of many others landing in the last few months. I learnt there is a group for those people, where they share info.

My visa office is Accra and Hong Kong as secondary it is stated on the notes and prior to that when I called I was told. Ovo there on page one I guess is as a result of the phone call made it probably was directed to Ottawa call center.

I doubt you can call AVO, I stand to be corrected though... Someone mentioned your last notes shows you're in OVO, do re-confirm.
The only way you can reach AVO that I know of is web form and mails. Many times, they don't respond or give generic responses

Dem go scam you o. The only genuine agents are RCICs (Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants). The only ones I know are based in Canada like Iwajayimmigration and infoplacecanada. RCICs are not cheap o.
Shey you know you can do this yourself, DIY.
Just go to page one, start from there. Ask plenty of questions when you are in doubt, someone will answer your questions. Cheers
