Leapp: Thank you so much . I really understand now. But the issue is that as a banker I did different functions at different times of the year interchangeably. One year can be FT officer, another year Merchant teller only to come back again and do the same FT officer the following year. There is never really one desk u work on but work on 2/3 desks at different times of the year as an operations staff.
How will I group all these functions and the months they were done in my reference letter if they were not done in a stretch but interchangeably?
Is there not a general job title for a bank operations staff ? List all your roles, period and functions/duties under each role.e.g Funds transfer officer, from Jan 2020 to June 2020. List your functions under it. Merchant teller... Same Front desk teller... Same Cash and teller services officer... Same Customer service unit... Same |

AZeD1: Covid-19 Anyone landing for the first time will have a very hard time doing the basics, getting SIN(most service Canada offices are closed), opening a bank account et al. In Ottawa, the apartment complexes that currently have vacancies are not doing viewings so you'll basically be renting an apartment without seeing it.
You'll spend so much to accomplish so little especially if you don't have family that can accommodate you. Yeah... This is expected. We hope covid-19 packs its load and vamoose soon. Amen |

MJKJ: Amen and amen. Coro no try at all. I was considering the remeds but as I've seen medicals extension on this thread, I say make I chill small. I hope the person give us more information. You mean they gave people medicals extension? Which category of people? I don't think it'll extend to us as we're yet to get PPR/COPR |

Please is it possible to do upfront medicals in port Harcourt? I can’t travel to Lagos or abuja because of the border closure and I have to submit proof of upfront medicals for express entry application.
Please is there anyway around this?
Thanks everyone for your assistance. Only Lagos and Abuja. For you to travel, you must offer essential services and have a letter or ID card to back it up |

lankepeter1992: Thank you. So I would declare her clearly then, I hope there is somewhere on the express entry form that one would specifically note that she is on asylum already in Canada. Thank you once again If she's genuinely on asylum over there, then the government has all her details. I also think you should seek people that have this same case as yours so they can put you through. You need all the guidance you can get. Please research well before you venture into this process |

lankepeter1992: Hello everyone, I sincerely need some guidance on Express Entry.
My wife and her whole family are currently under the refugee program in Canada with my daughter who is a Canadian citizen by birth.
But I need to apply for express entry to join my wife and my daughter.
I would like to know if EXPRESS ENTRY will work, but more importantly, if I should apply alone, or I should apply for them with me together.
I and my wife both have our WES and IELTS ready, though the CRS score is not high enough and I intend to go for Provincial nomination.
NOTE:
* She has already declared me as her husband, and she and my daughter carry my surname.
** I was rejected a visit visa before she left with her family.
*** I am concerned that if I apply for her with me, which means if I am selected on the express entry PNP, she would probably have to exit the asylum claim, come back home and summit her international passport at the VFS office with me.
**** I am thinking if I should apply alone, the question of why are you going alone might arise, without your wife, what would it means if they discovered that my wife is under asylum in Canada already.
***** I am a senior electrical engineer in Ibadan, Nigeria
All in all, I would like to know which would make sense and why? to apply alone (as not coming with a spouse) OR to apply as I am coming with my wife.
Please kindly suggest any relevant input and guidance.
God Bless! I discussed this with my spouse and he said it's better you declare your wife's status as asylum seeker. He also mentioned that he learnt of someone who got PR via express entry while the spouse was in the asylum program in Canada. |

I no just understand You can always liquidate your funds at anytime. Just know that there are penalties for liquidation. The interest earned will be subject to the penalties |

eryosa0: Hmmmmm fix ke. You pple should not complicate things for yourself na. I got ppr, didn't fix anything, don't even know what fix is. Just tell whoever family member to send you the money in your account, do your deed of gift, and submit your application with your relevant docs. At least thats what i did. You pple don't do adequate research thats the cause of all these. Don't discourage people that want to fix. Everyone has their reasons. The fact that you were disciplined enough to keep your money in your account for that duration doesn't make the other person that disciplined. Many people will start "chooking" hand and mouth in their POF if they are able to have access to it. |
