Hotstepper: Even 1 day, just go to hospital if not time to get a gynea...at the hospital, dr on call will deliver ur baby simple Thanks for responding. What if someone has an emergency say delivering via C-section especially elective CS? I guess specialized doctors I.E obstetricians will have to handle, how fast can one be referred given the few days constraints? Before leaving Naija nko, won't airlines pose a hindrance with fit to fly wahala? No vex o. My questions stem from so many landing gists and discussions I have read especially the old thread from 2017, one needs to be aware of what one is getting into make person no enter one chance. I read on the old thread about the wait time at hospitals for emergencies and fear catch me. If anyone had same situation and will not want to give details on a public forum, kindly PM me biko. Thank you |

Good morning all from Nigeria, Please is there anyone that delivered a baby immediately after landing in Canada? Say, within a few days to a week? I need some walk through on the process from boarding/fit to fly and getting a GP/OBGYN in a very short period. Thank you Destination, Manitoba |

Silversurfer1: Do you have a source for this information you've given? Canada: All forms of polygamy, and some informal multiple sexual relationships, are illegal under section 293 of the Criminal Code. Bigamy is banned by section 290. However, for a long time, the law banning polygamy has not been efficient. Source, Wikipedia If poster is a Moslem, he should research well if it is allowed as per religion and how well to go about it. |

GBSS: I think the monikers statement is ‘a child less than one year’.
I agree that the question does not give information about when the child was born, before, during or after the PPR process. But it would be a safe assumption to make, that the question is being asked because the child was birthed after AOR.
Making an assumption that the child is almost one year would be a long assumption that may not follow directly from the statement of the moniker as one can argue that the child could be 2 months old, which is far from your assumptions. We all are making assumptions based on the limited info hence my seeking further clarification from the poster and asking him/her to pardon my intrusion. My brain interpreted less than one year old as a child (infant) in the neighborhood of 9-11 months. I personally would have used a few months old for an infant of say 2-4 months. I also wondered if people would wilfully withhold info of adding their newborn after AOR, during the wait for PPR or after PPR. Been on the journey for a few years but recently joined NL and I have read quite a lot here. Generally, families declare a newborn ASAP, irrespective of what stage they're at. Your perspective is noted... Thank you I hope the poster will be able to make informed decisions based on all the rejoinders. |

Swtibogirl88: Please i have a question A friend of mine wants to get married geniuely with another man, she is no longer with her husband but they have not done the divorce yet. Now the guy wants to marry her before creating his profile to avoid writing LOE after getting PPR or ITA. What are the circumstances and will this have any effect? She has 2 kids already. She bears her formal husband's name in her passport which has 2 yrs to expire and her ECA. Please advice guys. Thanks Let her file for divorce. Timeline for divorce to be final can be long and cumbersome. Takes years for some people. After the divorce is final, she can change her name to her maiden name evidenced by newspaper publication, then request for a new international passport. Her kids... Hmmmm, if the ex-husband agrees to her having full custody of the kids, then there has to be relevant documents to that effect. AVO will eventually request for interview sef. |

GBSS: You need to raise a CSE informing IRCC of your new baby. You will be required to do medicals, provide passport and update your POF. I think you would be given a limited time to do that, so it’s wise you commence the passport before you inform them. You know how to get passport for Naija be. Pardon me, Is it possible to add an almost one year old baby to an existing application awaiting PPR or after PPR? Is that not misrepresentation? |

Thegirl2019: Good day house, please I would like to know the requirement for adding a baby less than a year old while waiting for PPR or after PPR
The documents please and how long would it take Thanks I'm curious so pardon me Is the baby yours? Why didn't you add him/her during your application? The only category I know of that you can add after PPR or while waiting for PPR is your spouse, means you got married after your application was submitted. Also new born babies, given birth to while awaiting PPR |

Hervoice: The person who got pr from avo, what was the persons timeline, had it exceeded the 6 months frame? I have no idea whatsoever, but Accra waiting timeline is crazy mehn. I learnt they work massively around this period and dish out PPR enmasse irrespective of your timeline. Fingers crossed and hoping on God for a miracle. Our medicals expire April |

Hervoice: Its four more days until my 6 months processing time is up. No update whatsoever, has Accra office been giving out PPR this January? Pls does anyone has an update on what is happening in Accra office? I want to request for my Gcms note We've entered our 10th month post AOR. No update whatsoever. Response to mails sent was the generic "your documents are on queue for review". I saw a timeline of Dec 2018 AOR. I just weak. Order the GCMS notes so you can know how far. Someone got PPR this week, had an interview with AVO I learnt. I'm not aware of any other PPR from AVO. |

MJKJ: I was worried about re-medicals in December but I've come to terms with it.
I'm sending my own 'how far with my application' email to them on Friday even though I already know what the response would be, except I get the PPR mail before then. LoL... Wetin we go do nah, it's just too depressing, the wait, your "life" on hold. At least AVO should respond to mails sent, not the generic response. It will end in praise by God's grace. |

Datevilme: Hello guys,
Concerning uploading statement of accounts, is it compulsory I go to the bank to get a printed copy, or can compile the ones my bank usually sends monthly via email? You can get a six month statement of account from your bank. It is not expensive, maybe N50 with vat per page. The statement varies in number of pages due to the number of transactions you did. |

Royalty1: Thanks Sunshine. But I hear the dried ones might get crushed into powered form. Will that still be useable? I don't know about been crushed into powder form but the possibility is there. It should still be useable. I have so much dried bitter leaves that I have commenced using some. It is very nice, same with uziza. I haven't tried using my dried Ugwu leaves though |

Royalty1: Hello House, Did anyone successfully travel with Ugu leaves to Canny? Was it fresh or dried? and how was it done? Please help out.
Thanks. I am still in Naija but I have prepared my dried ugwu leaves, uziza leaves and bitter leaves since last year. They are all chilling in zip lock bags and would be cling filmed and wrapped whenever we are set to go. Get a large amount of ugwu from the market, say 2000 worth or more because it is very expensive now because of the season. Let the market women slice for you. Spread in trays or sacks spread in a shaded place because direct sunlight will wilt it faster. Thank God it's harmattan period, so you are covered, it should be ready in a few days |

kiari: you can't use your cousin. only your sibling, or your spouse's siblings. that's all... I know of someone expecting PPR that went through the family route. He and relative don't have same parents, neither do they have same surname. The only common link is that the intending PR's mother and the Canadian PR's father are siblings, having same parents. The PR was able to supply needed supportive documents and he was nominated under PNP. He also got added 600 points |

Teemez: Good evening sirs/ma, Please I can use a cousin for prove of family on Canada bearing in mind that we dont bear the same SURNAME, before she got married and now that she is also married we still cant bear the same SURNAME. Your prompt response is highly appreciated You should be able to prove that you are related. For example, same parents so the surname will be same. That is your dad/mum and her dad/mum have same parents and bear same surname. Some other people might throw more light on this, so be open to other people's feedback |
