contactmorak: it's u who actually needs help fast for such unfounded conclusion. I'm Yoruba and even in Lagos state where I schooled some Yoruba Economics teachers do write it as Econs just to shorten it knowingfully that the students know these things. But you choose to disgrace your own tribe by calling them out and making it look like Econs is really bad. Infact u are a disgrace to your tribe. That's all I can tell u at the moment. Have a nice day and go and sin no more.
pweetixandy: fyi..I am ibo,and I stated clearly what I know,ONLY ibo teachers say ECONS. I'm sure in ur schizophrenic mind u thought I was yoruba or some other tribe, infact, lemme leave u to ur stoopid self.
. You are igbo & yet u scandalise ur tribe unjustly. U must be stupid. If u hav teachers in ur family dat refer to it as 'Econs', then pls u don't have to generalise
eleven: This is one of the challenges Jonathan has with his media & communications team. They are too inefficient. It took a guy on Twitter (@MrAyeDee) few minutes to completely rubbish Soludo's report with verifiable FACTS and expose Soludo's intellectual deceit.
Meanwhile FFK is rambling nonsense here without facts when there are so many facts supporting the good works of President Jonathan.
Abeg for those who are interested in reading a more matured & intelligent rebuttal, please see link:
Som people will still lie no matter how obvious d truth is. Even a blind man can see dat GeJ looks relaxed, confident & free. GMB looks intimidated, guilty & uneasy
simeonval: Op you are the one that arranged the whole thing. What are you doing in the house by that time? U don't have work abi. You invited the lady, unfortunately your girl caught up with you and you come here to tell us stories. From my own analysis you met her at your office or somewhere and invited her to your house, you now come here to tell us she came to drink cold water, there's no cold pure water outside for her to buy and drink. Pls tell us another story or tell us the truth.
Tallesty1: Seems like Buhari is wiser than you even without his certificate. How did you know the mind of all Nigerians.
Eerm, Zahra abi Zobo, tell your dad to call his boys to order oo, he should have known that to give monkey water no hard, na to collect cup be wahala............
BaddieKay: Alot of people don't seem to be happy with Ibinabo and she been the actors guild president.Guess she must be doing something wrong

Naijasinglegirl: They told us Lilian's groom-to-be was one of those wealthy Mobil workers. "My best friend's wedding would be the talk of town." Lilian's chief bridesmaid bragged.
All the big girls in school heard that and ran to queue for her expensive asoebi. Rumours also had it the groomsmen were representatives of different oil companies. The best caterers in town had been hired for the wedding. I hurriedly used my hard earned money to buy 3 yards of her asoebi when I heard that.
Back then, I was a 400level student and working on my project took a toll on me. The wedding date escaped my memory because I was too busy to catch up with my girls for random gist. It didn't occur to me that Lilian's wedding was in 4 days time until my friend stormed my hostel with her already sewn asoebi. Between requesting an express service from a tailor or making my hair, I settled for the later. When I saw the girls in my hostel looking good in their asoebi that Saturday morning, I had to cut a piece from my 3 yards to stylishly strut around the shoulder of my yellow dress so I wouldn't feel odd amongst them.
Let me make something clear at this point. Whenever I attend a wedding, Either or all of these four things take me there. 1. The people attending. E.g Lilian's chevron, shell and mobil groomsmen. 2. The excitement of the photos I'll take. This depends on how beautiful my hair or dress is. 3. My relationship with the couple. If you are family, I might grudgingly attend the church ceremony. Reason being, I unconsciously memorise marriage vows and that is one hell of an information that is completely worthless to me. If you are my distant friend, I'll attend your reception for no4 only. 4. THE WEDDING FOOD.
Its easy to tell no1 and no4 were taking me to Lilian's. The problem was the venue for the matrimonial service and reception were one and the same place. It was difficult to reckon when the oil workers groomsmen would be outside briefly for photos before the reception starts and when refreshments would begin. Good thing I bullied my two friends into affirming the wedding food was our utmost priority so we all waited till 1pm before leaving the hostel. Surprisingly, the couple were yet to recite their marriage vows when we arrived at 2pm. Fine! One more annoying marriage vow to memorise. I cursed silently.
It was almost 4pm and the matrimonial ceremony was still going on. There was nothing spectacular at the wedding as those in Lilian circle made us believe. Even some of the so-called oil workers looked more like fillings stations attendants. The pastor had diverted from the usual Adam and Eve story to preach on fornication. I cringed in my seat as I glanced at my wristwatch and the programme booklet for the umpteenth time. My friend whispered that its because Lilian was four months pregnant outside wedlock.
My impatience state had me lamenting, ''But pastor do our stomachs really have to pay for the sins of the couple?''
My sigh was audible when the reception finally began. We couldn't leave the hall to take photos with the couple for fear that we might lose our seats. Due to the poor timing, they had to rush most of the items listed in the programme.
We were told to form a queue beside each canopy for the buffet. It seemed like we were not the only ones waiting for food as the whole place was thrown into a pandemonium. Nigerians sure don’t know how to queue up for a buffet. They jump in line, push whoever is in the way and makes sure those serving attend to them before anyone else. I felt like stabbing the restless guy in front of me with the heel of my shoe or strangling him with the piece of aseobi on my shoulder.
My friends and I were among the first 20 in our queue but my joy was cut short when the MC instructed we all head back to our seats. The ushers were going to serve us there.
The new directive messed everything up. Some people had already gotten food at the buffet, some got food twice while some didn't and it was difficult to tell where they sat. The ushers were not helping matters by serving in a scalar manner.
One of my friends got first. Fifteen minutes after, the second one got hers. Thirty minutes after, nothing for me yet. Both of them were now giving each other that 'eeyah... I pity Naijasinglegirl sha' look. Occasionally they would glance at me and give me that 'sister, relax, you will eat in Jesus name' look.
"Should I remain my food for you?" One of my friend asked.
"NO!" I voiced out in anger.
Didn't know who to pour my frustration on. From the back row I sat, I tried to eye the bride with disgust but she wouldn't even look at me. I thought of taking off the small piece of asoebi from my neck to wave at her. After paying for your asoebi, no food abi? 419 wedding!
One of my 'bellyfull' friends had the guts to suggest we head outside to wait for the mobil groomsmen. How can I listen to any man on an empty stomach? I abused her with all the curses and swear words I learnt since 1914. As the immigration officer of our 3- female clique, both of them had absolutely no right to go out without me. At that point only the wedding jollof rice mattered. LoL
Reality set in when people started leaving. Typically of Nigerian ceremonies, once they eat, they dump your ass there and then! Even the couple finished their 'feeding of the couple stuff' and they no longer gave a hoot about their guests...including me.
You've got to me strong gurllllll... You've seen worse. Don't dare cry. I consoled myself.
I was too preoccupied with hunger to notice my friend had gone over to the catering section to complain on my behalf. Whatever she told them worked as one of them was seen heading towards my direction with a tray.
"Errrmmm...sorry oh. You should have struggled for food na. There's rice here but the chicken and meat we have left has been packed away by the bride's relatives. Would you mind the rice only?"
Emi? Eat leftover rice? I may be a beggar but I am a beggar with class and a damn good choice.
"Let's leave please." I motioned to my friends tearfully. I could sense a violent ulcer attack ready to strike me. My friends began consoling me. "Don't worry, we would try to seat at the front when next we attend a wedding."
"There won't be any next time!" I retorted angrily.
Maybe they've been, but that was the last time I wasted money on asoebi's that couldn't guarantee me trival benefits like the wedding jollof rice.
There is no hero among those pictured. Too many people on NL are either too young or don't read.
Murtala Mohammed had an Islamic agenda, that's what Buhari took forward to apply for OIC membership. IBB completed it. Murtala destroyed the excellent civil service we inherited at Independence. Sacked Oxon, Cantab and London trained civil servants massively under guise of fighting corruption. Civil service collapsed from there. A heroic coup plotter? Such doesn't exist. Just because OBJ was very generous to Murtala posthumously doesn't make him a hero.
Yar'adua was handpicked by OBJ, was ill throughout his regime. His only achievement was appeasing oil militants (using GEJ) to keep oil money flowing, he had no choice anyway.
Abacha looted recklessly. A tyrant.
Fayose maybe a thug, but he's not subservient like his people to Northerners.
Nigeria is one place people fear the truth like Ebola.
With these lot touted as national heroes, no wonder we're where we are. I wonder what would qualify one as a villain in that country.
In Nigeria, truth is bitter.
. Most reasonable comment on dis thread. I tell u somtimes I just wonder wat kind of ignorant or ill informed pple are on NL, there are only a handle full that make research b4 commentin, a vast majority are just out to follow d crowd. Its a pity. But dey can't hide d truth tho
icebeatz: You people are missing the point of this post. It is highly commendable for a political party to remember the citizens and go house to house in order to reach as many as possible despite limited resources. Look at osinbajo, always campaigning in buses and public places. It is commendable. This is not about who did this or whondid that. If you see a good thing, please commend it.
. Wat is soo good about it? Dat u go from room to room, bus to bus campaigning, how is dat our business? How has it improved d lives of d masses? How does it undo all d crimes commited by ur so called presidential candidate? Will it ressurect d dead youth corpers he killed by his inciteful statements in 2011? Nonsense!
Sunnybobo3: Don't be surprised if the real son comes out tomorrow to deny writing the above. APC can do and undo.
am tellin u, dese people can lie eh? Dey lied wit Victor Ikpeba's name not long ago. Dey lied wit d picture of d Archbishop of Owerri, claimin he went 4 their rally. Don't even bother taking dem seriously
obamartins: Bastards are known by their utterances. This guy is a clear example of a bastard. His father (if naa him really born am o, because i doubt it) will be turning in his grave. Spits on his face.
Kenai: OP, please take note and mind the way you word your posts. They weren't "JOINED" by the archbishop at the rally. They PAID him a visit at his parish house next to the Assumpta Cathedral. That photo behind them is his picture. That is his house! Saying "He joined them" gives the impression that he attended their rally; and here within the Imo catholic community, bishops and archbishops are not allowed to attend political gatherings that don't concern them; although they're allowed to host debates.
PS: What's wrong with Amaechi's face in that picture? The guy resemble person wey smell sh**t.
jaybee3: How do you even come up with all these ridiclulous gibberish?
A well trained girl don’t go into relationships and starts making demands like it’s her freaking birth right. Most girls that demand as well as have a false sense of entitlement are always in the relationship for personal gains. We aren’t stupid
Why would you invest in something then be comfortable when dividends ain’t coming ya way? makes no damn sense
It’s perfectly reasonably for some rich folks not to embrace the foolishness that comes along with constant relentless pursuit of ever changing phone technology. So long as the phone can provide the basic functions that phones are meant to do then GBAM. At the end of the day wealthy folks don’t indulge in things that wouldn’t necessary ad zeros to their bank account. Invest Invest Invest

In becoming a soldier, he attended the following institutions:
-Nigerian Military Training College (NMTC), 1962
-Mons Officer Cadet School, Aldershot, United Kingdom (1962-1963). Generals Sani Abacha (read about Abacha HERE) and Obasanjo also attended this academy). In Aldershot, Buhari was described as 'an only pebble in the beach, a star in his calm and calculating disposition.'
-US Army War College (1979-1980) where he was described as “a gentleman, a soft-spoken soldier, who preserved the ethics of the profession almost as a Quarter-Master-General. He would touch the tip of his cap in greeting for a lady, would never enter a room with his beret on. Always careful with his language, would smile at every joke and would never do anything to rock the boat.”
In the year 1962, he joined the Nigerian Army and rose steadily through the ranks.

Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, December 1983 – August 1985 From July 1975 to February 1976, he served as the Governor of the newly-created North-Eastern State under the regime of the late General Murtala Muhammed (read all about Murtala HERE). The North-Eastern State is what we now know as Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe and Taraba States. Mehn, that's huge! See the picture below. https://www.naijarchives.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/MUHAMMADU-BUHARI-11-NORTH-EASTERN-STATE_Naijarchives.jpg
Later, after the assassination of Murtala Muhammed, he served as the Federal Commissioner (now Minister) for Petroleum, Energy and Natural Resources under General Olusegun Obasanjo. He was appointed to that post in 1976 and was there till 1978.
On the 1st of April, 1977, the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel and the Nigerian National Oil Corporation were both merged together to form what is now the ultimate ATM machine for Nigerian leaders -the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Buhari was appointed as the head of the NNPC in 1978 and was there till 1979. Under Buhari, who wasthe Pioneer Chairman of the NNPC, great achievements were recorded: 20 depots of oil involving over 3,200 kilometres of pipeline were constructed all over the nation, in addition to the construction of petroleum refineries in Kaduna and Warri (subsequent governments have wrecked these refineries and there is obviously no plan in their skulls to build new ones, I do not know of any other oil-producing nation and OPEC member that buys refined fuel from others. The largest refinery in the world is in India, a country that produces no crude oil. I see our importing refined petroleum as one of the most glaring stupidities of the Nigerian nation, the supposed giant of Africa).
(The NNPC states that it's vision is to become a world-class oil and gas company driven by shared commitment to excellence while its mission as an integrated Oil and Gas Company is to be engaged in adding value to the nation's hydrocarbon resources for the benefit of all Nigerians and other stakeholders. I think that 'all Nigerians' should be rewritten as 'some Nigerians' while the 'other stakeholders' should be edited and become 'the cabal'. As an 'ordinary Nigerian', ayam yet to feel the full benefit o. Sorry for the 'digreson', e dey pain me for body ni, we were on Buhari shey....lol! )
Watch a video of Buhari swearing in the new governors below:
. Am not a Buhari fan, but I hav to admit, dis guy was smashing hot wen he was young, damn! So handsome. But hop his heart is fine too, dats d most important

tit: which one is easier to get: 1) the plaque of a school or 2) a students certificate.
why is APC going to all the trouble of going to steal a plaque at the US war college instead of giving INEC a copy of the MSc certificate mahdi Buhari got at the US War College?
