FamilyRe: Are You Sexually Compatible With Your Spouse? by Sunshinelady(f): 10:50pm On Nov 05, 2014
Phema:
Oh please, now you're beginning to sound ridiculous! You've never met a lady with higher libido? Or the ones you've met with higher libidos "soft pedal" so your judgemental self wouldn't call them names? And you are there feeling like the king of the jungle. Smh. You really do need some exposure.

So, you actually feel men are the sole custodians of healthy libido? How old are you and what planet are you from? You realise that's his wife he was talking about and not some one night stand. And for you to think its something to laugh about? Ridiculous I say!
. 1000likes. I can't beliv dat OP guy, I feel like landing him a slap, his tinkin & way of talkin (or typin) screams of immaturity

My man, for your own good, run out of this thread. From the way things are going, something tells me this thread will get to the wuuwuuwuu stage! You know that stage when a woman places her palm on her lips and taps it repeatedly to make the wuuwuuwuu sound and say things like ole! Oloshi! Women can NEVER be rationale on issues like this.
. Lmao @wuuuwuuuu, it actually took me awhile to get wat u meant. Lol!

Take note! Not crying cos of a lady, but crying cos a lady rejected a man. Come on! That's the depth of childishness. U knw, like wen a child demands for cookies and the mother refuses and he starts to cry! That kind thing.
lol. If d guy loved d girl deeply, I don't see anythin wrng in crying (so long as it doesn't get creepy & weird tho). Com on, lov can make u do childish thins @times
RomanceRe: Ladies Why Do You Enjoy Kissing So Much? by Sunshinelady(f): 8:59pm On Nov 04, 2014
Reiyvinn:
uhmm that true but the thing is, as Farano said, kissing is meant to lead to sex. So it baffles me when most ladies kiss as though that's the only item on the menu when in fact, the real stuff, as Tallesty1 once said, is down there waiting.....
. Its now u spoke wats rilly on ur mind. Ur problem isn't dat d kissing is too long, its dat its taking too long 4her to open up d thing 4u. So u fill unsatisfied wit d kiss, while hungering & thirstin 4 wats in b7w her legs. Ur case is a case of lust.

RomanceRe: What's The Factor That's Kept Your Relationship Or Marriage Till Today. by Sunshinelady(f): 3:32pm On Nov 02, 2014
itsik:
Well na GOD
Cos sometimes it seems the burden on us is too much that it will break us and there is no hope. Then miraculously you see everything sorting itself out like it's a program. It's not easy to have two people of different family background and upbringing agree to be together be it in a relationship or marriage.

The differences, the challenges, the set ups, the betrayal by friends, but GOD still keeps us going and growing stronger.
To all those out there still finding it difficult to get a lady or a guy to call their own or be with for ever. Pray over it and know that none is perfect and neither are u. Have an open mind. Cheer up and keep a smiling face. Don't look down on people cos of the condition they are in cos u never know who will be the right person.

All the same its the handwork of the ALMIGHTY. Prayer is the factor. My dear

Who said falling in love isn't a good thing. Show with a raise of hand sad
. Word.., God bless u

CultureRe: Nigerians And Fake Foreign Accents by Sunshinelady(f): 3:57pm On Nov 01, 2014
nobilis:
OP, Thanks for giving us your life And family history. You should have also mentioned when you naturalized as an American or a British citizen.

Back to the topic.
What's all the fuss about accent?
There is No hard And fast rule anywhere that a person must speak a language in a certain way because he is from a particular country . People can decide to pick up new accents or drop the old ones they acquired in the past. People can also to learn new accents And be using them interchangeably with the previous ones they acquired.
As for me, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. As long you are communicating with your audience, you're covered. After all, a person's nationality must not be known through his accent.

And (I stand to be corrected), I don't think there is anything like Nigerian accent because the way an Hausa man speaks English is so different from the way an Igbo or Yoruba man speaks it. Let alone other ethnic groups.

And for those mentioning culture And pride about culture, I wonder when English language became part of your culture. So what has a "Nigerian accent" got to do with culture? Do tell.
. I could hug u now. U just spoke my mind. D OP just wanted us to know dat all his/her relatives live abroad (or wateva). My aunty my uncle my wife bla bla..boring us wit long family ties mcheeew. Once u r speakin 'english' there's nothin like 'Nigerian' accent cos 'English ' isn't even urs in d first place, d only pple dat can tell u how well to speak it are 'English pple' because its their language. There are so many ethnic groups in naija (as u rightly pointed out) & hence so many accents, so no such thin as 'Nigerian accent'. Abeg make he free pple wey wan speak wit English accent, e no concern anybody, everyone to his own . Haba! Wats d fuss about? Dat ur wife, uncle, brother, aunty etc, doesn't hav British accent doesn't mean everyone else shuldnt. Its a choice, if u wan igbo accent; fine, Yoruba; fine & good, hausa; kul, British; fine, American; alrite. Choose d one u want & leave other pple's choice alone

But this one ended within 48hrs

. Exactly, I know its immature to collect bak gifts after break up, but dis one was too soon beko, it was selfish of her. If it was a sincere breakup she wuld av rejected it, knowin she was leavin him in a number of hrs. But sha in a relationship there are 2 sides to d story, mayb she also got him expensiv gifts in d past, who knows..?

Firstly, i feel so stupid and used.
okay, the real story is this, I promised my girlfriend (Now ex) a Samsung Note 3 phone for her birthday. Luckily for me at my place of work, the cooperative had the same phone up for pick up. As a guy who is deeply in love and knows that giving is part of maintaining a healthy relationship, i decided to pick up 2 Samsung Note 3 at the rate of N130,000 to be paid over a period of 12 months. Good news, the birthday came and i delivered.
Bad news, just 2days after my warm heart gift to her, she BROKE UP WITH ME. REASON: She doesn't see a future, blah blah blah...family issues, cultural differences.
i'm in the second month of my payment now. still paying for my Ex phone.

Advice: Can I ask her for the phone back? i feel cheated. (To make matters worse, she even uses her new bobo as Dp's on her bbm, for a phone i'm still going to be indebted for the next 10 months.

SHOULD I GET MY PHONE BACK?
. Na wao, dis grl harsh o, she wuld av rejected d phone since she knew she wuld break up in d next two days. & u sef dat day she broke up wit u is d day u wuld collected it o, but now its up to a month it wuld seem somhow
