MadameU: Dear Nairalanders please is there any one that has travelled with a car seat and stroller back home using emirates? I would like to know if you were charged for the infant car seat, at check in was it counted against the baby's baggage allowance or just checked in without it counting against the baby's baggage allowance? Thanks all. God bless us all Please am interested in this answer as i also have stroller and car seat and using emirates |

Thank God everytin worked out well. I travelled with my daughter and at POE the officer had to stand to see her and asked if i showed d embassy a zero balance for her bills when renewing my visa. That was all.
Dont know where ur flying from but if leaving from lagos make sure u hv a naija passport for ur child cos those immigration officers will not stamp a us passport. Atleast that was my experience |

MamaTobenna: thank God for a successful poe. Got scared about the emirates delay though. How were their services though and how did they take care of you during the delays Did not take care of me at all o. Did not even ask for fit to fly. All legs of d journey was fully booked and cramped. Did not put me up for d delay only when we got to boston and no connecting flights available for the day was put in sheraton. I expected alot and was highly disappointed. Could have avoided the long journey if i knew. Plus travelled with my toddler so was the grace of God that i pulled through. |

Reporting from usa via emirates. POE was boston, very smooth. Asked purpose of visit, how much i had on me, why usa, how long i intend staying and if i showed the embassy a zero balance on my last baby during my visa interview.
Emirates trip was over long with weather delays at stopover in dubai. Left on 29th got here 31st. |
