edicolove: I don't support the move and I have my reasons but I have been reading many posts here and don't see anyone advancing any good reason why the move is bad. All I see are reactions coming from people's perception of Dame and of course, many conspiracy theories. Can someone really tell us why the move is wrong. Now tell me what qualifies her for that post? The Police authority in Punjab, a district in Pakistan, has sacked 250 pot-bellied and fat officers from the Police Force.

The development brings to mind the physical fitness of Nigeria policemen.

The Inspector General of Police, Habibur Rehman, ordered a team of district police officers to measure the waistline of the 175, 000 members of the police force and all men found to be overweight were ordered to reduce their weight to a required standard before Saturday.

“The Inspector General ordered 175,000 personnel not to allow their waistlines to exceed 38 inches and reduce their weight by July 7,”The Express Tribune, a Pakistani paper, reported over the weekend.

The Pakistani police says it will recruit new and slimmer officers to replace the sacked men and women.

I know people that were brought up without being beaten by their parents and they are cleaner than most.

I don't think that's called love cos you show intentions of hurting a child. that child will grow up without full gratitude to his/her parents. learn to build on ones strong point, love him more, being altruistic in many ways instead of working to develop his hatred for you. I know people will counteract this but check your kids now and see if you want him/her to be like the bad ones

Bros,as am typing this ma uncle is raking the whole house.his soon was flogged because he refused ² sweep the class..he is just making a hell of noise and I don't know who 2 side. Dem no flog u 4 school?

My childhood story is incomplete without stories of canes I received.

A teacher without a cane is like a police man without a gun,and this made me serious in school.

A teacher we called "sir koboko" or 'hulk hogan', when your hear "he is calling you", suicide can be a better option than his lashes of cane,and we the stubborn guys had to situp whenever it comes 2 school work.

At home, my parents had a special cane for us all. Mum flogs randomly(as a teacher) and dad flogs constructively(as a businessman) and we were locked up in the store if your case is worse(we call it prison then) and sometimes starved.

Nevertheless the discipline was with caution,but the modern school and theory is against flogging in schools. Now,my uncle withdrew his kids from a school because he was flogged.

Am asking what is wrong in it? Or does it mean we were brought up as slaves?
