Butterflyleo: That is not the purpose of this thread. The OP wishes to encourage atheists to start offering things of value to humanity and since some here have insisted that they have "a lot" to offer yet have been unable to list the things they have to offer despite repeatedly asking them for this information, perhaps you wish to help them. Were you banned? Nna, the rate of ban nowadays eh...... |

I am talking about OTHERS not me.
You know people actually see your moniker "superhumanist" and the "super" in it first gives them the impression that you must be smart and dripping pure undiluted smarts but once you start typing you become an anticlimax.
So sad to always watch. |

butterflylion: I write for ALL to read. After all this is a public forum, let it sink into your head. Nobody can censor or stop whoever wants to read anything so DELIBERATELY I put my thoughts out there for posterity and posterity shows that those who read your comments can deduce you to be unintelligent since you hardly ever bring anything to the table except ad hominems.
Na intelligence be dat? Mtcheeew. no one is censoring you. stop the victim mentality |

budaatum: I look way beyond him really knowing there are a lot of intelligent people silently seeing how deep the pit he digs himself into gets. Just when you think he might have hit the bottom, out comes his shovel and the deeper he digs.
Do you not realise that many people read what he writes and disassociate themselves from him? If you were his god, would you not hide your face in shame and say "dude, please stop worshipping me"? In fact, isn't it obvious his previous god must have said that already? He used to be a Christian but now he's some sort of whatever he calls his faith!
Only a very tiny few subscribe to his sophistry. Still, he serves a purpose. I just picked up Bertrand Russell's, On Education from a secondhand bookshop because of him and I'm sitting in Costa drinking a latte while I further enlighten myself. Trust me, Butter is a walking advert screaming "Please become an atheist", least that's what discerning people hear from reading him.
My hope is that one day he might read what he has written and see how unintelligent he sounds, though I must confess that a teapot will exist between the Earth and Mars before that happens as he has a profound inability to hear himself and reflect. Very true. Butterflyl1on has no sense of self reflection. He thinks no one apart from a few atheists reads his comments and then he fails to understand why people say that he sounds like a scammer with his dodgy logic. |
Christianity Etc › Re: You Atheists, Are Wrong! by superhumanist(m): 5:04pm On Mar 22, 2018 |
butterflylion: The funny thing here is that you are already worshipping a certain teapot known to only you and nobody needed to tell you to worship it before you even began doing it
You just do not realise it yet because you haven't sat down to think about it.
Enjoy! WTF? budaatum, how do you manage this guy's nonsense? |

butterflylion: You must be the latest version of Jackbizzle my favourite dumbo.
You cannot say something does not exist unless someone first declares that it exists and for anyone to say it exists they must be first speaking from a position of knowledge.
Nobody just throws stuff around for the fun of it.
Or do you jump up in the middle of the night and start shouting that "crayfish does not exist " if you had never previously been told that it does?
Smh I hope sciencewatch has not given you some tramadol. Your posts have been out of sync lately |

butterflylion: Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence is it?
You could be arguing from ignorance. If you were in every grain if sand or every drop of water or every leaf of every tree or every ice crystal etc then you can be sure about your knowledge since you would be everywhere, in the past, future, present etc to know that what isn't there today was not there yesterday. Only fools accept things without evidence, especially when that evidence has been lacking for thousands of years. 5000 god's have been with us for over a millennium, yet no evidence for any of them. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists Let's Discuss God. by superhumanist(m): 7:49pm On Mar 20, 2018 |
butterflylion: This is an assumption and a sweeping comment.
Budaatum do not tell me tomorrow that an atheist did not SPECIFICALLY mention 10000 magical fairytale creatures.
How did you SPECIFICALLY go through the 5000 or is your atheism based on a generalisation and not empirically derived? Assumption? You smoke Igbo abi? Have you seen any direct evidence for the unicorn God? Or even any God or magical creature? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists Let's Discuss God. by superhumanist(m): 7:44pm On Mar 20, 2018 |
Gggg102: what butterflylion wants is for you to share why you think the 4999 gods are inexistent.
why do atheist reject all theistic gods good/evil?
the question is not specific to Yahweh, it includes; Odin, Zeus, Amenhotep... why is there no possibility that one of the 4999 being real? The 5000 different gods do not exist for the same reason that the 10,000 magical fairytale creatures do not exist: 1. No hard or direct evidence. 2. Have no physical or tangible attributes 3. Generally believed in by people of lower intelligence |
Christianity Etc › Re: Atheists Let's Discuss God. by superhumanist(m): 1:45pm On Mar 20, 2018 |
butterflylion: Monotheists NEVER argue using the 4999 gods angle. Atheists do. So they should be able to push forward their facts based on their 4999 gods position of falsehood.
This they do without realising that falsehood does not mean nonexistence but simply means no supreme authority or supreme divinity because if some are false then it means one must be true.
So how did they arrive at this falsehood which they term as nonexistence devoid of experiences from these 4999 they love pushing forward. Satanism (particular versions) is also monotheistic. Are you arguing for satanism too? So how can you even mention to argue for monotheism when even the monotheistic gods are different? |

PrecisionFx: U people have started again How did Christianity end slavery . Don't mind them. They like to remix history to benefit their religion. There were Christians in the slavery abolition movement. They played a huge part but there were also freethinkers in the abolition movement. What these Christians seem to omit is that it was Christians who started the transatlantic slavetrade. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Thank God For Slavery! by superhumanist(m): 11:50pm On Mar 18, 2018 |
ameri9ja: Ignorannce. The truth is not praising anybody. Tell the truth wether it favors black or white BTW the same bible also says there are no slaves or masters in Christ. The same Bible that tells us how to beat slaves in the old testament? Religion is the bane of the black man |
Christianity Etc › Re: Thank God For Slavery! by superhumanist(m): 11:43pm On Mar 18, 2018 |
ameri9ja: Don't lie just because of this discussion. And stop talking about fringe abberations. Many if these slaves were house slaves. They not only gave them the bible, they taught them how to read it. Or do u think they learnt it from thin air? One sent his slave to study in England. Many people, including many of our brodas in the diaspora, choose to maintain a warped and dishonest view of things. They'd tell u things like all white men are evil and no white man contributed in liberation of black prople. Wow. The power of religion. Religion is the only thing that can make a black man praise his white slave master. Religion is truly a curse on black people |

butterflylion: The Bible did not say Noah took one kind of dog. It said he took 2 OF EVERY KIND. The "2 of every kind" meant male and female. Even if not, 2 kinds of dogs wouldnt have been able to give is the numerous breeds we have today. |
Christianity Etc › Re: "7.7 Million Animal Species. How Did They All Fit In, In Noah’s Ark? - Man Asks by superhumanist(m): 8:45pm On Mar 18, 2018 |
butterflylion: What dog breeds are you talking about? Do you mean the ones man deliberately genetically engineered (selectively bred) or the ones naturally engineered?
You seem not to realise that there is almost no pure dog breed anymore. All have been humanly genetically modified (selectively bred) for certain purposes. What is this one saying? Ogbeni, the point here is that if Noah only carried one "kind" of dog, we would not have the different breeds we have today. Stop arguing out of point. No one is disagreeing that a lot of dog breeds are from human experiment s |

felixomor: Good. Have u seen black parents giving birth to fair children Black parents giving birth to albinos etc?
because recessive traits do sprng out over generations. Thats just one possibility. Secondly if a dog interbred with a wolfe, a new breed will arise also.......
These are just few of the possibilities.
Thanks Lies. Your explanation cannot account for the numerous dog breeds we have. I know about 40. |
