ScienceWatch: A beggar once asked me for N50, I said sure, but asked him if he had change as I only had N100.
The beggar became very excited and assured me that he had all the change I need. I won't share how it all ended, but that Martinez and Atheists reminds me of that beggar. Tramadol will make you tramadulled! Say "NO" to drugs |

They read the discussions we have here. I say this because, you seem not to notice the growing number of people that now call you a scammer/dishonest person. I was even surprised to be informed by 2 people who I don't even talk to that you are a dishonest human being. Stop this lies and hate. It will get you nowhere fast. |

butterflylion: From the OP
He decided to join because he had something on his mind to say. He now GAVE QUITE A TWIST to the whole discussion. Emphasis on QUITE A TWIST. not just a twist but QUITE a twist.
Only something disrespectful would get him the kind of responses he began getting immediately after. He deliberately gave quite a twist to the belief of his hosts because he was BORED. so the best way for him to tackle his boredom was to do something mischievous against people who have never hurt him or treated him badly as he clearly testified in his write up and now it backfired and he is complaining. So, you made all that up from the assumption that his "twist" means something disrespectful? I'm bookmarking this for future references to your foolishness. |

Indeed you are dumb beyond measure. Where did the OP say his life was being threatened by death? Where did he say anyone wanted him killed in his community?
Keep on adding salt and pepper to what the OP did not say. Perhaps you know something about this incident that the OP did not mention.
You can have the last say now. Lol.....you made the first claim. How was what he said in the chat group disrespectful? |

Yeah I believe you. A country that has a secular constitution but still operates Sharia law. Ogbeni, you are clearly lacking in intelligence if you really think that Nigeria has anti-discriminarory laws that protect religious rights. |

This OP is not about discrimination. Everyone at some point gets discriminated against so stop squawking.

You are still not the brightest bulb in the class. I see that you haven't travelled outside Nigeria. The typical local Nigerian doesn't understand the true meaning of discrimination. |

I never claimed to be the smartest at anything. How you drew this inference again is beyond me. There is nothing logical about your discussions that are laced with sophistry and emotional blackmail. Simply put, atheists and other unbelievers are discriminated against in Nigeria. We are a tiny minority and it can be lonely at times. A simple fact that cannot get through your thick skull |

If anything, western atheists, especially Americans are very vocal. People that can put a crucifix in a jar of urine. |

butterflylion: How you arrived at this is beyond me and I find it shockingly funny.
I do not think you know what subliminal messages are. Jesus practiced this a lot obviously from the many parables he told, this is obvious and I have been doing same.
If you read what I write here literally you will get it twisted and it's obvious you applied no thought regarding:
1. The foundation of the person typing this
2. His foundation for interaction
3. His motive
4. The subtle words deliberately included in his sentences.
If you did then you would not have said the above. But you obviously did not think AT ALL.
I am still laughing at your words in bold though. It makes for good comic relief See how you just avoided the issue. Anyway, keep comparing yourself to Jesus with subliminal messages. Lol. |

butterflylion: That's my entire point. It's a closed loop. Our source, interim and end is unfathomable by us on our own because we were not there at the beginning and can never see tomorrow. All we know is now and now is not enough when wanting to know as a certainty. But you certainly know that there is God. This is how you contradict yourself up and down. You keep pointing out the limitations of human thought and knowledge but when it comes to your belief in God, your knowledge is certain. You ironically pointed out how freethinking supercedes your religious thinking- the illusion of certainty |

The Nigerian government is one of the laziest governments of n the world. It wants to raise billions through tax alone and as a result, it is overtaxing its citizens.
Tax/charges is only one source of income for the government. What happened to income from tourism, state owned corporations and revenue from investment funds.
The high taxes that Lagos govt has been enjoying have not been used for anything reasonable.
Many people pay land use charge, yet their roads are not tarred. Where is the electricity to support manufacturing companies and other businesses? Schools have to pay police for security for children.
What are theses taxes and fines used for? Hmmm? |

butterflylion: Now it's they are minority
I thought you assumed they were none and asked me to go there.
Those who are there are preaching and winning new converts. In Saudi Arabia the population has grown to almost 3 million with some coded.
In China it's on record that the christian population is rapidly spreading and China is close to experiencing the biggest boom in Christianity for a long time in that country. And this is projected to happen by 2030.
The so called minority are making a huge change. It is illegal to preach christianity in Saudi. In China, if you preach the wrong way, you are gone. Your religious doctrine is approved by the government. And don't just put out daft statistics that mean nothing. A projected outcome is not an actual outcome and secondly, the chinese population is growing, and so, any percentage of the population will grow along too. We are not like atheists who hide behind online forums to make noise. We back our talk up with action. There are Christians in Saudi and China. They are very reserved. Out of ignorance, you keep running your mouth. You have no idea what it means to be a minority with beliefs that can get you killed. So, go to Saudi or China, then let's see how open you are on your Christian beliefs. |

I am the kind of person who sees a beautiful rose yet will still mention the thorns. I am the kind of person who calls a spade by its name regardless of what you or anyone else might think.
I am open to being criticised or having my life as a Christian criticised because I am not hiding the truth unlike some here.
What is hard about opening up about your ideologies and how you arrived at them "if" you strongly believed it to be true and a right approach.
Such a person should be bold to stand on a mountain top and shout it out loud with no apologies to anyone.
From my perspective I see Satan in the details. Something you perhaps have become blind to now that you have found excuses/reasons to chalk him away with. I on the other hand am still kicking and seeing clearly enough to say it as it is.
If you do not like it then sorry about that (as a courtesy) and not as an apology. See hypocrisy. Please go to Saudi Arabia and proclaim your Christianity or better, go to china |
