coogar: your brother should take his international passport to the bank. national IDs are invalid in nigeria - too many of them around and bank officials don't know which is which. without a passport or driver's license, your brother has no case.
That is not true, used to work in a bank and i know all National cards including voters card are acceptable as a standard means of identification in line with CBN directive.

PoliticsRe: Political Bokoharam Attack On Lagos? by superior1(op): 7:31pm On Feb 18, 2013
It is an open secret that prominent Yorubas and Hausas are the main groups spear-heading the new mega opposition party. Should this bombing continues and infuriate the Yorubas into attacking the Hausa communities in SW, that strategic alliance may be affected. BH has never attacked anywhere beyond the North, so we need to ask ourselves if what started today is just sporadic or have something to do with the newly formed APC. huh huh huh
PoliticsPolitical Bokoharam Attack On Lagos? by superior1(op): 7:19pm On Feb 18, 2013
This looks like Political Bokoharam attack, probably a strategic way to destroy yoruba-hausa synergy ahead of 2015.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Signed An Agreement For One-Term - Aliyu by superior1: 12:07pm On Feb 16, 2013
Gbawe: I think Aliyu is invoking this so called agreement now because him, Lamido, Yuguda et al, against the advise of IBB and co, had delivered the States delegates GEJ needed to defeat Atiku at the PDP primaries. The thinking of Aliyu et al were two-fold. First, they thought by helping GEJ, who had pledged to do one term, they would have a clear path to the PDP Presidential ticket for 2015.

Two, Aliyu and other Northern 'young guns' thought supporting GEJ to gain 4 years strategically weakens the older power brokers in the North like Atiku, IBB, Cirmoma et al because those guys would be 4 years older by 2015 and politically weaker.

Finally, if you read again, you will note Aliyu stated that GEJ signed an agreement with Northern governors. He did not say GEJ signed an agreement with the North. That distinction must be made so we do not go on another round of Nairalanders unfairly ranting against the "born to rule" North. The Northern Governors, essentially limited to those within GEJ's own Party, did what they did for personal ambition so we must be careful not to drag the entire region into issues limited to the actions of a few.
You made a sensible post. I only hope Aliyu does not think anybody will vote him to become president

It has nothing to do with the religion of the parties involved, if you have ever lived in Europe, you will know it can happen to any parent considered careless by social workers irrespective of their religion.

You guys need to stop putting religious sentiments into contemporary issues
Didn't lagos state increase their school fees?
Other states under PDP also did
PoliticsRe: APC Governors To Implement Free Education, confirms ‘real APGA’ as part of merger by superior1(op): 6:27am On Feb 13, 2013
seunfly: That is a very big lie, i my self finished from LAUTECH Ogbomoso and i know what we paid under AD party and it was increased by 1000% under PDP, after i graduated from the school i know what the pdp lead administration proposed for the new tution fee which lead to strike in both state particularly Osun b4 the two ACN governors steped in and reduced it.
In Osun state university the amount of school fee was close to 200thausand by PDP governor (Oyinlola) b4 ACN(AREGBESOLA) reduced it to less than 100thausand even the tution fee of polytechnics and college of educations were jerked up by several 100% by same PDP governor while ACN reduced it.
I don't know of lagos state owned institutions but i believe that no matter how Lagos state may increase the fee, with the instances i gave u in OSUN and OYO Pdp would have jerked it up more than that.
So my friend stop saying what is NOT TRUE.
LASU is better for it, i cant remember the last time they went on strike since this move by Lagos Govt.

PoliticsRe: APC Governors To Implement Free Education, confirms ‘real APGA’ as part of merger by superior1(op): 10:08pm On Feb 12, 2013
bigboss80s: Instead of foolish, stone-age, bone-headed policies like this, these idiots should find a way to make banks give student loans. Education is way too cheap in Nigeria and this is the reason our institutions cannot survive on their own without government handouts. Education is expensive and any system of free education is just not sustainable.
