What's this one talking about? Aba is a sewage pit toilet. Below Is just a tip of iceberg of Aba. Stop deceiving yourself

[s][/s]
Pls, stop this nonsense and respect yourself. Aba is undergoing urban renewal regardless of its slow place. Hoodlums are being dealt with. Abia State Environmental Protection Agency (ASEPA) and the traffic management agency now have zero tolerance for uncleanliness and thuggery.

ABA is a beautiful city. STOP posting the shabby areas you want to post. AWKA, ONITSHA, OWERRI, ENUGU, PORTHARCOURT, etc and even LAGOS have dirty and flooded areas, do I begin to post them?

lol. what is wrong with the Igbo's that everyone don't want to be part of them. personally I see them as too greedy and selfish. they don't also love themselves. there is this Anambra family that use to stay in Asaba back then. they rejected their son attempt to marry a girl from Ebonyi. I asked why and one of them told me ebonyi and Abia are not real Igbo's. this people don't have love among the 5 southeast state but they want to drag other states to their self
They not marrying from abia or ebonyi doesn't change the fact that these states are pure igbos. Abia is even too proud to link to anambra for marriage, we often look down on many anambarians as not being marriage-worthy.

A lot of abians (especially ohuhu, ubakala, abiriba, isikwuato, ohafia people) don't like marrying from anambra. They look down on anambra in terms of marriage.

Either way, biases exist within all the Igbo communities. Onitsha don't like marrying idemili and vice versa both in anambra state
Ideato and mbaise no dey see eye to eye for marriage in imo state. Ngwa and ohuhu people in abia state have reservations about marrying amongst themselves.

It's like that in Yoruba land too. Ijebu versus ilesha for instance. Ekiti vs osun for instance.

I really give kudos to Igbos and their sagacity to do business.

I have travelled round many African countries and amazed at the level of their exploits.

Business studies, commerce and economics should be made a compulsory subject in Igboland. Its not by accident that u hardly see the too poor lower class in Igbo land.

Am from Enugu but kudos to Anambranians for teaching the entire Igbos business. Abakiliki people should also learn that art of trading as they are the only group not performing well so far in the area of business.

One love.
Anambra did NOT teach igbos business. Maybe you mean northern igbos, but for southern Igbo, it was abiriba and arochukwu people who through aro trade routes, dominated the commerce of the east before the white men came.

By the way, Jaja of opobo is not an anambarian.

You seem like an impostor to me

His account is now "alleged"? Kayfra, please kill yourself with envy. Goodbye

Who are the "us"? Perhaps you mean you and yourself ......lol.....Pele o.... despite all the logical explanation for the spelling of the name at the time and the fact the oluu-uda himself referred Igbo as his ancestry, you keep asking childish and uninformed questions. Sorry.

Cut that "woe is me" igbo victimization mentality. That nonsense doesn't work with me. You doth cry too much about imagined Igbo persecution. It is irritating

Argue the points and stop throwing an emotional tantrum. You guys even agree about the interpretation of the name Olaudah. From Bronze to the voice is loud. WTH! Now you see why I doubt his progeny
As if your doubt would affect his igboness.....lol.... What scholars are worried about is his birthplace not his igboness

By his OWN account, he said he is of Igbo descent, yet it PAINS your soul that he is giving the account himself.

Whether Bronze or Voice, he igboness is out of the question. Centuries of misspelt names will definitely corrupt the actual pronunciation. But to you, it just can't be Igbo. Lol....go and quench abeg, you are inconsequential.

His real name is Olaedo (means bronze artifact in igbo) ikwuano. The portuguese in pronouncing his name spelt as Olaudah Equiano. Same way they mispelt Benin and Gave Lagos the name.
No, it's oluu-uda (he whose voice is loud)

What kind of question is that?

How many Igbo bears Nwakerendu? How may Igbo bears ukpai?

Mind you it's olou-uda (olaudah)

I have an old uncle who bears olunnaya (voice of his father). There are name derivatives for the word olu (voice), despite the fact that it's not popular.

In those days, names of slaves were sometimes incorrectly spelt or pronounced in English.

May envy not give you heart attack o

Did I deny anything you wrote? I have doubts about his background. That's all
You will because he is Igbo. You never see anything good in Igbo despite the fact that he claimed he was Igbo by his very own account.

Olaudah (he whose voice is loud) is one of the many Igbo names that are not popular in usage.

He mentioned major Igbo customs and wrote Igbo words in his autobiography.

Olaudah equiano was a self thought Igbo slave who managed to buy his freedom and moved to London. He wrote and published his life story from when he was a young boy in West Africa to when he was captured, sold into slavery and regained his freedom as a young man. His book The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano was written in 1789. Was he the first Igbo man to read and write in English?
Yes he was. His igboness is undisputed, it's his PLACE OF BIRTH that is been debated.

In the early 2000s Abia was adjudged the neatest Nigerian state. So it's not about habits, it's about infrastructural and social neglect on a city.
