These Biafrans are merely exercising their constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of movement and expression. Peaceful protest is a right not a privilege. So how is that treason? The pictures you posted that Buhari is running a terrorist Government.
You do not have the right to stop others from passing on the same road you are protesting or for them to close their businesses. You do not have the right to disturb public peace and orderliness, despite the fact that you have the right of expression.

Every right comes with a responsibility. Once you fail to live up to your responsibility, your right stops.

Right is not absolute.

Those folks are just too petty. The used to ban me all the time back in the day, but they stopped recently, then gave me a long ban on the beauty thread cos I said the chic that won the competition's fugly and these mofos started catching feelings. grin Shyte, when I said the romani chic during last year's competition's the best looking one among the lot - these mofos called me "objective" for that. grin

There are just too many mods from that axis on this forum. This isn't Biafraland for fvck sake.

The lala guy showed his inner Biafran colour today with this thread: https://www.nairaland.com/2727097/buhari-ojukwu-protesting-against-obasanjos passively supporting IPOB youths. grin
I don't know how I have escaped ban for 4 good months.

The mods from the la la la dawning sun are too many and Seun needs to balance the equation.

Are there any basins in Osun?

I think the Yorubas in Kogi might also have oil potentials based on where they're located.
There is no oil basin along that axis. They have more of solid minerals.

Sincerely that axis can be the hub of agriculture and tourism for the yoruba nation.

Valid points, but we must do a lot differently not to end up like every other African country that seceded. I see a common identity in the people of Eritrea, south sudan and others yet they worse off than they were.

Shymexx articulated his points very well.

The only way Niger can work effectively is by having a confederacy in in regional system of governance in place with each region or confederates being autonomous to a large extent.

I will rather be a small but an effective nation like Switzerland or the Scandinavian countries than being big forl nothing like Nepal.

Why is that it is only Ibos that are complaining, just because they lost the election with their Drunken Master of Otuoke?

When they were bastardising our economy under Jonathan, people like Okonjo, Stealer Oduah etc where were they?

They were busy shouting "leave our daughter alone".

What you are seeing today is the repercussions of leaving your daughters alone. Alas, we are all suffering for the ineptitude of Jonathan and the corrupt tendencies of Igbos that he packed into his cabinet.

We trust in Buhari to turn things around and surely he will.

Let me tell you something you don't know, they are not TOLERANT of differences, while serving, we knew better than wakaing aimlessly on fridays, dressing in too tight clothings & male & female corpers maintain a respectable distance when walking together, cos little things set them off.

In addition to ritchiee 's submission, they are united cos THEY ALL SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE...

There is a reason for the word "Miscommunication" & "Misinformation ".... There are more than 200 languages & dialects in the south, help explain how the unity can be forged! !
They do not speak the same language. Their language is more diverse than the south. They only have a lingua franca which s Hausa and pidgin is ours in the south. They also have a sense of unity because they all believed they are at a disadvantage individually as a group and their strength lies in their collective stance as Arewa.

They are tolerant of differences if the elites and religious leaders do not instigate them. All the northern crises have their root cause in their elites or religious leaders instigating them.

It is very rare to see a spontaneous attack just because of one hot head commoner.

DO not get me wrong. I am just making us to be objective a little. We do not have to be stereotyped and believe everything we have been hearing.

This exactly is why I loathe thinking that Hausas are bad people,if anything they seem to be a little holier than the Southerners but the MUMU type of killings they indulge in his way above what one can call DEVILISH...no word for it...yuk
Who instigates the mumu killings? The same elites.

WHy? For selfish reasons and persona interests.

Why are the majority of them gullible? the same elites ensured they do not go to school and usually cloud their reasoning with religion that promotes being subservient to whoever is in a position of authority, even if he is a devil.

Most often than not, the elites are the problem and not the everyday people.

Come of the pedestal, I'm no bigot... I also respect people, left to the regular notherner, they'd want to be left alone to their culture & religion...

It is the elite I'm referring to...

I served in a local govt, we only meet on payday , sign for salary & everybody hasta la vista...
It happens in most places too.

I served in the headquarters of Gokana LG of Rivers State, the same thing happens there.

How are our elite different from northern elites? Ours are even capitalists in nature, while theirs are more of socialists. We should always be objective atimes. I am not exonerating them from their thirst for power, but our elites are not better and they are active collaborators.

One thing i respect the northerners for is their unity. DO you think it is that easy to achieve that within that diverse population of people.

Are they stealing your resources without constitutional back up too?

I served in the far north, these people have zero going & would kill to leech on continously on the south..

May Lugard's soul never rest in peace !!!!
They are not leeches. They are farmers. They produce a good percentage of what we eat in this country.

The problem bedeviling is their elite that is taking advantage of their illiteracy level, which our elites are finding it very difficult to do in SW.

Come to think of it, when it comes to looting, the elites do not know ethnicity or north and south or religion. They develop a good sharing formular for themselves and share the loot accordingly.

Emerging power houses are using population to their advantage (china, Brazil, india) we need our huge market for rapid development
SW alone has a population of 50m people with a considerable amount of middle class.

How many countries can boast of that?

Politics › Dasuki Paid N850million Annually To U.S Firm For “security Advice” On Boko Haram by superstar1(op): 8:17pm On Nov 09, 2015
Embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, paid a staggering $3million, approximately, N850 million annually to a United States firm of attorneys, to provide ‘security/defence advice’ to Nigeria on Boko Haram, Pointblanknews.com investigation reveals.

According to a document made available by sources at the United States State Department to Pointblanknews.com, the firm, was also expected to ‘pursue potential donation of military and law enforcement equipment from the US government. ‘

The firm, Patton Boggs LLC, based in Washington DC, appears to be the ‘favorite’ consultant’ of some top Nigeria government officials including a former Foreign Affairs minister, Ojo Maduekwe who hired the firm for $1m per annum to ‘advice Nigeria on bilateral relations with the US government.

J Gordon Arbuckle signed for the firm while Dasuki did for Nigeria. It was not clear how long Dasuki had been using foreign based firms but this agreement was sealed on August, 2013.

The first installment of $750,000 was paid in September 1, 2013.

The agreement explains the assignment in part “…by providing a comprehensive security/defence advice, and to include pursuing potential donation by the US government to the government of Nigeria excess military and law enforcement equipment. “

It says further ” we ask for an annual budget of $3million USD, paid in quarterly instalments of $750,000, each payable on the first day the engagement commences ( we recommend 1 September 2013) and subsequently, on the first day of each successive quarter.”

According to the terms ” This budget will be all inclusive, that is, it will cover our fees and those of others we engage to work with us, travel, other operational costs and ordinary business expenses”

Efforts by Pointblanknews.com to speak with the former security chief on the terms and to explain the quantum of donations the firm facilitated from the US, and how a law firm provided security advice, were unsuccessful.

Also, emails and phone calls sent to Patton Boggs Spokesperson, Angelo Kakolyris were not answered as at the time of going to press.

A yoruba friend ask me: under what conditions would you support One Nigeria and let go of the Biafra struggle.

Here was my response:

1. Close down Lagos ports and Open up PH, Calabar, Onitsha and Warri.
2. Cancel all direct and major connecting flights to Lagos and Abuja airports...only local or minimal connecting flights will be allowed. While this is being done, open up Enugu, Owerri, Asaba, Uyo and PH to international flights...direct and major connecting flights.
3. Ask all international and diplomatic missions to move their embassies and consulates from Lagos and Abuja to Enugu, PH and Calabar.
4. All federal governments agencies in Lagos and Abuja shall be relocated to Enugu, PH and Calabar. CBN, NNPC,e.t.c shall and must relocate to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
5. All multinational companies in Lagos and Abuja, shall and must relocate their offices to PH, Calabar and Enugu.
6. If these conditions can be fulfilled and implemented, we can try one Nigeria and let's see if you Hausas and Yorubas will like it for a month. Meaning, Yorubas and Hausas needing to get visas shall travel to PH, Calabar or Enugu to do that. Same with flying or connecting flights, same with shipping and importing their goods, e.t.c.

The yoruba friend replied: you can't be serious, this is wickedness. I said really? Don't you think Biafrans have been suffering and enduring this very same wickedness for over 50 yrs? He was quiet for a few seconds and said: wow, you are right but it never occurred to me. I said, that's the problem with One Nigeria, those who are benefiting love it and would love to maintain the status quo

1. The agitation is limited to the 5 SE States maybe with the addition of some igbo speaking part of Delta state and PH only (not all PH)
2. The leave the rest of Nigeria and relocate back to their SE
3. The recall all their leaders in Abuja
4. They start rejecting allocation coming from the FG
5. Maybe stop blaming Yorubas and APC for their woes.
Word.

They can not be sending Stealer Oduah to Abuja and be shouting Biafra in Aba, when their Lunatic Albino god would have given a voice to the call for their fraud of a nation in Abuja.
