After a surveyor measures your land what next?will he file your survey plan with survey gen.office & apply for u CofO or governor's consent?

surveyor will measure your land and produce a registered survey plan (blue copy or client's copy) and submit a record copy (red copy or govt copy) of the survey plan at the office of the surveyor general of the state where the land is situated. Then you can apply for C of O with the survey plan and other required documents. For more information visit this thread

Good evening people, I feel like sharing this information on this forum. It is cheap and safe to know the status of a land before making any financial commitment because in Lagos state for example, 60% (if not more) of land in Lagos are in government acquisition. Most people just buy land without knowing the status and they even build on the land. When you check the status a land, then you will know if it is a good land to buy. The cost of checking the status of a land is almost free but the consequences of buying government acquisition land can be torturing. You need a code to activate it since this is your first time of recharging. Ask your neighbors for the code that has to do with your area.

Alternatively, make sure there is NEPA light, plug the iuc device to a powered socket and input your meter no. then press enter, a message will display saying successful, then input the 20digit code and press enter. it will display a message saying successful.

I think the bricklayer did not understand the instructions given to him by the land owner and he was not supervised. the mistake must have come from the bricklayer
