What chance exactly did she stand against the devil when her Pastor had long given in and allowed the devil to use him. Who is suppose to be more spiritually matured btwn her and the Pastor? Why would you squarely put all the responsibility to fight the devil on her? What then is the use of Pastors if they are allowed to be used by the devil and not get to share any of the blame thrown around?

I am a Nigerian woman, and I can tell you that nothing here is new when it comes to the male of the Nigerian species! Father, husband , brother, distinguished gentlemen, Man of God, Pastor ! Priest , respected pillars of society , bosses etc etc the list is endless, we all have them as our loved ones abi? Yet we as women have to admit that our men are capable of this and more, no matter the title you put to them, so why all the horror and finger pointing at the lady?
If Nigerian women could bare their minds openly on a forum,on their experiences with men in positions of authority, or so called respectable pillars of society, it would read like a "how to guide"for Soddom and Gomorrah . Moral decadence in Nigeria is extremely wide spread, every day women are forced to make decisions between immorality and achieving their basic rights!

The devil don't give a damn whether you truly born again pastor or a fake pastor, he (devil) will joyfully strike such a person to death to avoid confession and repentance.
My advice to Pastor Biodun is this. Whether Ese is lying or not against you, she has done the necessary by exposing her secret sins with you. You should be bold enough to also expose your own sin so that, true forgiveness can be obtain by both of you.

You are soo right here. It took a pastor of His People church falling seriously ill to confess to 2 affairs he had with two young ladies in his church. Apperently he got so ill and the doctors did not know what was wrong with him. His healing had to come thru confession and councilling after he resigned from a church he founded.

I hear you but in this case it seems like this guy has been doing this for a long time. Do you sincerely think if all true and this guy has been doing this to many she should have still kept quite? I feel Pastor Flo did not really responsibly deal with this. He should have had a meeting with the two of them and make peace instead of being careless and ask what she expected. Pastor had a chance to save this situation but chose to make the woman feel more cheap. Becouse she says she felt like the guy expected her to ask for money.

Really people do not how it feels like to be a woman and when a person of authority trusted with the spiritual being of many young women abuse that right and you find people insulting and saying horrible things about the girl leaving the serpant to continue with his evil acts. Then the same people call themselves Christians. Its so annoying that Christian have mastered hypocricy to the extent they would judge and demonise Moslem for killing or arresting women who have been molested while they also condemn this girl and call her all sorts of names for exposing the truth. I am soo proud of this girl, I think if all the women that have experienced such in the church should come out and expose these pastors it might reduce the level of hypocracy in the church. Below is a post I wrote a while ago on another thread. And it still really makes me soo angry am not even ready to talk about it, is this so called pastor made my life hell for refusing his advances.

For people who have never gone through such its easy to say anything but remember people who are prepared to do such are evil. You are doomed if you give in to them as ( in Ese's case) but still not immune to their threats and promises to pray for your demise if you refuse their advances(as in my case). You would swear they are more Juju man than pastors/they are just plain evil.

sweetcheecks: Nigerian Pastors really need one to use a descerning Spirit. Only God knows who is who. My experience makes it hard to even listen and believe even one of them which makes me very sad. They have a good eye for young, pretty ladies with a potential to be a huge success and when you refuse their advances/proposals they curse you and start praying for you to die more of an evil act than godly if you think about. But thank God for His word its faithful and changes not.

I will start a diary on this one of these days on this topic. If your faith in Christ is not strong enough they would totally destroy your spirituality. Now even if I am invited to their churches ( which I will try everything possible to get out of) and they preach until they are soaking wet, I just sit there and watch the act. I guess I am still raw and angry from the experience and find it hard to even talk about it.


I know not all of them are like that but I would rather avoid putting myself in the way of trouble. If this makes me xenophobic so be it. Once beaten, twice shy!
