RomanceRe: How Can I Motivate My Girlfriend To Lose Weight? by sweetcheecks(f): 4:53pm On Jul 28, 2013
Rhemmymatician: Telling her u like big girls will make her either want to keep her shape or want to get bigger. Why should she be motivated to lose weight when her lover says he likes her big huh?
I guess you are still very far from understanding the women psych. It is directly opposite to what men think.

To women being fat means being unattractive especiall at a point where your boyfriend keeps reminding you about. It only makes you feel deppressed than wanting to do something about. Ots different when your girlfriends tell you about weight gain. Its like telling a guy how he should be driving or when he is getting lost. They get deffensive, same way women do. Its impossible to explain why but we just do not want a boyfriend telling us about weight issues, rather tell my girl friend to tell me as if it comes from her.

Just do not talk about her weight whatever you do. It depresses her more than motivate her. Rather, play the reverse psych on her. Tell her that you actually realised you like big girls. And she is just perfect for you and try to convince her you mean it. You will not need to motivate her to loose weight, she will do it on her own.

Women sometimes do not like their boyfriends to point out something unattractive about them, it depresses them more than it encourages them. I think undecided

Ayoobscom: There's no success until a soul has truly identify with its creator and worship Him the ways he has ordained.

Congratulations Aisha...now you are safe from the delusion of common pastorial and refurbic biblical brainwashing of your former religion.

Honestly, I'm so so happy for her.

"EVERY SOUL THAT COMES CLOSE TO ISLAM MUST FALL IN LOVE WITH ISLAM"
I can understand your happiness BUT I have a problem with the bolded. "must fall inlove" what if she just likes, but she does not fall inlove with Islam? What if once she has been exposed
to its reality she decides she wants out, Are you going to let her happilly walk away from Islam?

And when one of yours converts to Christianity he/she would not be hunted down like game? Remains to be seen. undecided

Afam4eva: This girl is old enough to make her choice which religion to belong to. Whether she was hypnotized or not should nto sufficed else we can also say that those that have become born again Chritians were equally hypnotized. Abi no be so? I also understand her fears of not wanting to go back home. A typical Igbo man will rather die than see that a member of his family is a Muslim and even if he allows the girl practice her religion, she won't feel at home talk more of the community where she comes from.
Really the lady looks happy and in good health. Her father should just stop this and pray about it. This might be his test of tolarance. He can now just stop threatening the lady and just love her.

The bible says " many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him from them all". If he truelly believes his Christianity now is the time to put it to practice.

You cannot live for your children you can only pray for them to live the right way. Enuff said.

On the eve of his 95th birthday, Nelson Mandela's daughter conducted an interview in the home of former South African president's second wife Winnie, Zindzi Mandela. She was showing the reporter many gifts and memorabilia that were kept in the house. Surprisingly, amongst the pictures which they considered to be exclusive there was a portrait of T.B. Joshua. That was something I didn't expect to see. What does this mean? Are Mandela and his family really Christians?
Sorry to burst your bubble but;

1. That is not Mandela's house but an old house that he stayed in decades ago that was turned into a museum in Soweto.
2. Those pictures, paintings and hounary certificates are what people send Madiba as gifts.
3. Madiba has never gone to T.B. Joshua he does not even know who that is, as much as they mostly do not know 90%of the people who sent those gifts.

A portrait of Nelson Mandela illuminated by candles at the St George's Cathedral in Cape Town. A section of the church has been set aside for people to come and say a prayer and light a candle for him.

Image by: HALDEN KROG Nelson Mandela has made "dramatic progress" and may be going home soon, his daughter Zindzi Mandela said yesterday -on the eve of his 95th birthday today.

"I visited him yesterday and he was watching television with headphones [on]," she said in an interview with Sky TV.

"He gave us a huge smile and raised his hand ... He responds with his eyes and his hands. I should think he will be going home any time soon." The latest description of the former president's condition is a significant departure from that in court documents filed by his family earlier this month, when he was said to be on life support and near death.

Mandela has been in a Pretoria hospital since June 8 due to a recurring lung infection and officials have said his condition is critical but stable. The news of the improvement in his health came on the eve of his 95th birthday today, a day declared by the UNas International Mandela Day in recognition of his
contribution to a just society.

Quotes: Nelson Mandela
"I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons will live together in harmony with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for, and to see realised. But my Lord, if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die."

Nelson Mandela, defence statement during the Rivonia Trial, 1964. Also repeated during the closing of his speech delivered in Cape Town on the day he was released from prison 27 years later, on 11 February 1990

"We are not anti-white, we are against white supremacy … we have condemned racialism no matter by whom it is professed."
Nelson Mandela, defence statement during the Treason Trial, 1961.

"Never, never and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another…"
Nelson Mandela, Inaugural Address, Pretoria 9 May 1994.

"We enter into a covenant that we shall build a society in which all South Africans, both black and white, will be able to walk tall, without and fear in their hearts, assured of their inalienable right to human dignity –a rainbow nation at peace with itself and the world." Nelson Mandela, Inaugural Address, Pretoria 9 May 1994.

"Our single most important challenge is therefore to help establish a social order in which the freedom of the individual will truly mean the freedom of the individual. We must construct that people-centred society of freedom in such a manner that it guarantees the political liberties and the human rights of all our citizens."
Nelson Mandela, speech at the opening of the South African parliament, Cape Town 25 May 1994.

"There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find ways in which you yourself have altered." Nelson Mandela, A Long Walk To Freedom, 1994.

"If we had any hopes or illusions about the National Party before they came into office, we were disabused of them quickly…The arbitrary and meaningless tests to decide black form Coloured or Coloured from white often resulted in tragic cases…Where one was allowed to live and work could rest on such absurd distinctions as the curl of one's hair or the size of one's lips."

Nelson Mandela, Long Walk To Freedom, 1994.

"…the only [other] thing my father bestowed upon me at birth was a name, Rolihlahla.

In Xhosa, Rolihlahla literally means 'pulling the branch of a tree', but its colloquial meaning more accurately would be 'troublemaker'."
Nelson Mandela, Long Walk To Freedom, 1994.

As Nelson Mandela lies critically ill in a Pretoria hospital, the world is preparing to celebrate his 95th birthday on Thursday, a day declared by the United Nations as a way to recognize the Nobel Prize winner's contribution to reconciliation.
Interest in Nelson Mandela International Day has ignited as a result of the former South African president's hospitalization in Pretoria and people find ways to honor his ideals.
A Johannesburg-based foundation named after Mandela and numerous other groups have asked people to volunteer 67 minutes to charity to match what they say are the 67 years that Mandela served his community. Mandela led South Africa through a tense transition from apartheid to democracy and became president in the country's first all-race elections in 1994.
President Jacob Zuma will mark the birthday by overseeing the donation of houses to poor white families in the Pretoria area, in line with his Cabinet's theme to commemorate Mandela's birthday this year by focusing on food security, shelter and literacy.
In Cape Town, labor activists are holding an event at St. George's Cathedral on Thursday, in remembrance of Mandela's years of service and to encourage people to donate food to charity while leaving messages of support for the former leader's family.
Mandela, who is in critical but stable condition, has been hospitalized since June 8, and hundreds of well-wishers have left prayers and messages of hope at his Johannesburg home and at the hospital where he is being treated. Legal documents have said Mandela's breathing is machine-assisted.
The anti-apartheid leader has also inspired artists and graphic designers who celebrate his life through paintings and posters.
A group of young South African designers created a poster project to offer a global perspective of Mandela with submissions from around the world. The group whittled down 700 posters submitted by designers from more than 70 countries, to 95 for each day of Mandela's life.
The posters will be unveiled Wednesday and a single special edition auctioned off to raise money for a proposed children's hospital that will be named after Mandela, the group said.
"He carries across this concept of humanity and selflessness," said Mohammed Jogie, co-founder of the project.
South African artists John Adams and Paul Blomkamp have painted two of the largest Mandela paintings to honor the man who spent 27 years imprisoned during the system of white minority rule known as apartheid.
Blomkamp said his painting was inspired by Mandela's energy, which he described as exceptional. Blomkamp said an image of his painting will be featured in a display in New York's Times Square Thursday in honor of Mandela's birthday.

The south africans won't accept our progress because they want to claim that they are the only ones in every field, including that they are the only ones with history.
