You are really clever you know? So the solution is to hike ticket price that will affect every Nigerian? And how will Nigerian govt do that? Force BA to increase their ticket price or what?

Krasid: I get what you are saying. When translated,it changes its meaning.
Yeah, i knew you will get it. wink
SportsRe: South Africa Vs Nigeria: Nelson Mandela Challenge - (0 - 2) - Full Time by sweetcheecks(f): 5:00pm On Aug 14, 2013
Krasid: But their nickname and the meaning is really funny oo.How can you name your football team "boys boys" and expect them to beat men. They really need to change that "Bafana Bafana" name.
I am sure thats a google intrpretation. Bafana is young men in nguni, only when you interprete it in Zulu it becomes boy but in Xhosa and other nguni languages it refers to " Young men in their prime"

Also you may never undestand becouse African terms when translated via english loose the very core meaning of the term. I am sure there are words that only Nigerians understand but when trying to interprete them thru the use of another language they loose the meaning and power? Hope you get my point.

To us Bafana Bafana is a sort praise that brings pride and warmth. Okay not sure if you get it or will ever get it.
It's not even about mental slavery. A person can get their point across without being rude, akere? But ja, let's not go there
Askies tog, nunu. That was not said in rudeness or seriousness it was suppose to be a reflective statement. Any how, monie kwaad wees nie, nawe you were too harsh ( i will choose to use harsh rather than rude) on Malema calling him a disgrace that was uncalled for. He is also a feeling person with all the bashing he gets from abelungu we can not add to his pain. Ke ngwana wamutu as well.

PoliticsRe: S-african Women Married Tonigerians Threaten Protest by sweetcheecks(f): 8:55am On Aug 13, 2013
I would never join such rubbish. At the end of the day this is a double edged sword, fighting for your family while legalising citizenship fraud.

Ask how many of these women have been to Naija and have been recieved officially as wives? Mostly, the ones married to guys with no citizenship or who are in SA illegally have not been introduced to their spouses families and might never be.

The next thing when these guys leave them they will organise another strip show protest asking the goverments to intervene. I do not think this is wise at all. Eish, luv thingz, blind people to the truth oo.

Foreign AffairsRe: Robert Mugabe Blasts Nelson Mandela As A “coward” And “ by sweetcheecks(f): 11:46am On Aug 07, 2013
thoth: This is a lie, Mugabe never made such utterances and would never. if you have listened to Mugabe during a debate or giving a speech you will clearly know this is not the way he talks.
Even when the west and south African whites were trying to mess up the Zimbabwean Economy and frustrating his leadership he never made such utterances.

All he said is true though, Nelson Mandela is a huge coward whom could not return what belongs to his people back to his people, instead he sold out and was awarded a peace price.

He went to prison for terrorist activities as a Communist Aggressor not for fighting for the freedom of his people. Nelson Mandela and his group set people ablaze alive, lynched and arsoned public institutions.

I have a reason to believe that he already agreed to a deal before he was released in prison to allow the whites to dominate the economy of south Africa and retain all the resources and lands they forcefully and barbarically stole from the black indigenous south African.

I really have no respect for that man.
Who cares?

juju2008: You are wrong. Mandela has got great wisdom which unfortunately evades most African leaders.
Forgive him, he got caught up in the lie. That is why people need read and digest before commenting. Now he and not Mugabe insulted Mandela calling him a fraud. undecided
Please note that the remarks
attributed to President Robert
Mugabe in this article are entirely
false and malicious.
The President has not addressed any
public gathering since the eve of the
election when he held a press
conference.
We regret the distress these
dishonest reports have caused the
Mandela family as well as South
Africans in genera
cheesy cheesy cheesy Could not stop laughing this is very funny. I cannot believe people could fall for this, its wrongly worded to be a statement by Mugabe.

Mugabe is an educated man, as a president he would never use such words as f**k especially adressing a crowd. He is quite polished.

This is just a wake up call that the mad angry white racists are on a mission to cause conflict in the SADEC region so we could nullify the Zim elections.

luvmijeje: Where I am today in my journey into political awareness was due to this section. Yes there was tribalism but there was an healthy discourse and debates. As a young yoruba lady, I learnt about my history, what occur in the civil war from both sides and more that I will have to open a thread to list what I learnt from this section.
Seun, you are naive and careless for you not to know the power you have in your hand. For you to allow some group of people to propagate hatred. History is awaiting you, decide how you want to be remember.
@the bolded, totally agree. Samething that got me creating the thread below.

Please could this also be extended to other bigotry expressed against other countries. I am really tired of being the nasty NL bi.atch while trying to make a stand for my country. I know we all came here not as xenophobs and bigots but we were changed along the way, some of us will never be recognised through our monikers by those who know us, as we have taken a different persona altogether. And unfortunately some of us do not have multiple personalities ( might be split but can only manage two not more) fight and laugh in the same breath words linger on and are more damaging the than arms (after being insulted and insulting people). Insults are not in our nature but do it becouse we are human when attacked the "fight or flight" instinct kicks in.

If you choose to continue building your patriotism on the foundation of insulting others, please do so knowing that " when you send chickens out to feed they have to come back home to roost". Ennuffsad!

Please see a doctor as soon as possible. You might have abnormal cells in your cervix coused by the HPV virus. If left unattended for a long time could turn to cervical cancer. If it abnormal cells they could be killed using laser or medication. Please do not panic all i am saying is it could one of many things but catching it early is the best thing to do. All the best!!
