Christianity EtcRe: 'How T.B. Joshua Took My Wife' – Pastor Peter Kayode Tells It All by sweetcheecks(f):
Nigerian Pastors really need one to use a descerning Spirit. Only God knows who is who. My experience makes it hard to even listen and believe even one of them which makes me very sad. They have a good eye for young, pretty ladies with a potential to be a huge success and when you refuse their advances/proposals they curse you and start praying for you to die more of an evil act than godly if you think about. undecided But thank God for His word its faithful and changes not.

I will start a diary on this one of these days on this topic. If your faith in Christ is not strong enough they would totally destroy your spirituality. Now even if I am invited to their churches ( which I will try everything possible to get out of) and they preach until they are soaking wet, I just sit there and watch the act. I guess I am still raw and angry from the experience and find it hard to even talk about it.

I know not all of them are like that but I would rather avoid putting myself in the way of trouble.
If this makes me xenophobic so be it. Once beaten, twice shy!
Enuffsaid! sad

KidStranglehold: So you're actually from South Africa? How are AA's doing in South Africa?
The successful AA are really enjoying SA becouse the have learnt to be humble, learn the culture and adapt. Watch the video and see how well these people are doing. They ussually never want to go back to the US as SA has it all and its a black country,

Impressive, I actually know that AA community, they are familly friends Cora is my friend's mom Vazantha M who is the girl on the wall picture. They have have really gotten it right and Nigerians need to watch this video very attentively and learn how you make it in SA. And if yoy do not the stigma stays with you and its hard to off it.

Nice video, nice seeing people I had not seen in while. kiss

Gudiza: Generally get the sense men of black origin all over the world desperately want come back to Africa and help build. They've had enough of racism and want to be proud of their origins (Africa),increase cooperation between themselves and the motherland, and expand their reach and knowledge rather than being holed in foreign lands where they remain second class citizens.

But, they are frustrated with the level of poverty, underdevelopment and conflict they hear all over the western media about Africa and this sometimes can play out as hostility when Africans go there to hustle.

That they're willing to go to South Africa despite the crime tells u a lot.
Our crime rate is grossly exergerated. What country has the highest crime rate but remains among the top world tourist destinations in the world? Recieving world royalty, celebrities, etc year in and year out, while most own properties? I think its a way of keeping the "fools" out while they enjoy the place, thats brilliant strategy by the way.

11 JUL 2013
Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, South Africa's first female deputy president, wa appointed by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Wednesday to head the U agency promoting equality for women.

Mlambo-Ngcuka, a former member of parliament and longtime women's rights advocate, succeeds former Chilean president Michelle Bachelet as executive director of UN Women.

Ban spokesman Martin Nesirky announced the appointment, saying: "Mlambo-Ngcuka brings to this position a wealth of experience in advocating for women's issues with a combination of strategic leadership, consensus building and hands-on management experience."

Bachelet was the first head of UN Women, which was created in July 2010 by the General Assembly to combine four U.N. bodies dealing with the advancement of women under a single umbrella. She returned to Chile to run for president again.

Mlambo-Ngcuka, 57, was elected to parliament in South Africa's first multiracial elections in 1994 in which Nelson Mandela led the African National Congress (ANC) party to victory.

She was a member of the ANC's national executive committee from 1997 to 2007. She also served as deputy minister in the Department of Trade and Industry from 1996 to 1999, minister of minerals and energy from 1999 to 2005, and deputy president from 2005 to 2008 when Thabo Mbeki was president.

Mlambo-Ngcuka established the Umlambo Foundation in 2008 to provide support to schools in impoverished areas in South Africa and Malawi.

Earlier in her career, she served as the first president of South Africa's Natal Organisation of Women affiliate of the United Democratic Front anti-apartheid movement.
She then worked as the World Young Women's Christian Association youth director in Geneva before re to South Africa, where she worked to promote economic development and skills training and help squatt women.

Foreign AffairsSAA Named World's Most On-time Airline by sweetcheecks(op): 11:12pm On Jul 16, 2013
16 July 2013
South African Airways (SAA) is the most on-time airline in the world, according to the June 2013 Airline and Airport On-time Performance Report by global flight and airport information services company FlightStats.

According to the report, which covers major international airlines and airports in north America, Europe and Asia, the big international airlines on average delivered 75.85% of their flights to the arrival gate within 15 minutes of schedule in June, down from 80.70% in May.

Only six major international carriers delivered over 90% of their flights on time, with SAA topping the list at 93.33%, outperforming several reputable carriers from across the world.

SAA has achieved over 90% on-time performance for the last five months running, topping the list of most on-time airlines three times during this period.

"This speaks volumes about the commitment and determination that our staff put into their duties in order to consistently provide a professional and reliable service,” Zuks Ramasia, SAA's general manager for operations, said in a statement on Monday.

South Africa's national carrier, the most awarded airline in Africa, operates direct flights to six of the world's seven continents.

With its current fleet of 54 aircraft, the airline operates 53 000 flights per annum, ferrying 7-million passengers to over 1 300 destinations in 194 countries, both through its own network and partnerships with other airlines.

"SAA will remain indebted to its workforce who, despite all the challenges the airline is currently facing, have chosen to focus on the work at hand, which is to bring the world to Africa, and take Africa to the world," Ramasia said.

"With close to 30 different accolades collected between 2012 and this month, our staff are clearly doing something right. Nonetheless, we are cognisant of the fact that there is room for improvement."

Foreign AffairsSuccess Stories: Standard Bank Named Best In Africa by sweetcheecks(op): 11:03pm On Jul 16, 2013
6 July 2013 South Africa's Standard Bank was named the best investment bank in Africa by international finance magazine Euromoney at the magazine's annual Awards for Excellence ceremony in London last week.

It was also named best equity house and best risk manager on the continent. "Winning these awards is particularly significant as it is an acknowledgement of our commitment to our clients as they grow in and across Africa," Standard Bank Corporate and Investment Banking CEO David Munro said in a statement.

"We have a unique footprint and physical presence across Africa, global connectivity to serve Africa, unique sector expertise and a talented and experienced team, all of which reinforce our position as the leading financial services organisation on the continent."

It was the 23rd edition of the awards, and Euromoney judges had to choose between over 600 banks and brokerage houses by examining key performance indicators, financial ratios and innovations.

"Our presence and experience across sub-Saharan Africa, our specialisation in natural resources, and our ability to connect African markets to each other and to China, Brazil, the Middle East and the developed world's pools of capital, combined with a strong reputation and product expertise, afford Standard Bank a unique competitive position to build long-term and well co-ordinated client relationships," Munro said.

"The bank has benefited from its expansion in Africa, pushing it ahead of the competition," said Euromoney editor Clive Horwood. "It has a clear advantage in South Africa, where it is the biggest bank by assets.

And it already transacts an extraordinary quantity and quality of deals further north too. "In addition, Standard Bank remains perhaps the most prominent international book-runner on local-currency bonds across Afr

Your arrogance really. You need to know who wears, which one to where & when. Pretending to know it all. Even if they wear it half nude it is still their culture and they are proud of it. Below is your culture that you abandoned and ran to adopt white and Arab designs and boast them as your culture.

Infact, i feel like slapping u dis xenophic mumu rightnow. Mtchew
You mean our police, that we pay with our tax money should leave all other duties and act as some probably dodgey, illegal and faked name and ID Nigerian body guards? Becouse all these attacks were done at strange times and places where
there were no witnesses.

In SA its not hard to meet a Nigerian whose name is Dumisani Mabaso who is 14 years old but came alone and drives a citi golf. Tell me now where do they start looking for such a person becouse rest assured the nigga will not be in the official database only his friends will know his real details.

Please attack with facts. Nigerians especially the non proffessinal tend to flock together they need to have each others back and report or comppaign if hits like these are done by South Africans. How do you think our police should get any information in situation.like these.

If the government starts deploying police to moniter Nigerians 24/7 guess who is going to cry harrasment, racist, hate, xenophobia.

Please people choose one and stick to it. You can ask Jonathan to ask his pal Zuma to make available 24/7 survailance on all Nigerians in SA.

Stumbled upon a very rare original you tube video of South African youth of yester year doing "Toyi-toyi". One can feel the oneness, a thousand hearts beating as one, a rhythmic thump of their feet, an united determination, bravery and a "never die" conviction to confront their armed enemy and the willingness to die in the process rather than submit to an oppressive goverment.

Wow, I salute you our heros!
YOU DANCED AND SANG WHEN YOU WERE AT WAR, SAD, ANGRY AND WHEN YOU CELEBRATED.
NO ONE PROTEST LIKE AN OPPRESSED BLACK SOUTH AFRICAN. LONG LIVE SPIRIT OF "TOYI-TOYI"
Your act still bring goose bumps to this day,
Shows one never needs arms to fight but " One Spirit"
A thousand hearts beating as one, AMANDLA!
