Why not put a cavet emptor asking people to distance from me on nairaland.

If it reverses the forex rate currently twitching the economy, then you deserve a ball with two glands as an award
You see your life? just laid bare to the whole world, you couldn't say a single thing to address the issue raised, but you've been here all day supporting rape, now attempt at putting up a defence supporting your argument, you can't, all you know how to do is talk crap, yet think yourself better than others and I, smh.

Sometimes I wonder why I even bother, it's really a pity.

You don't know about Nigeria, have you left Port Harcourt.

Cocoa, what will be her complaint.

She went to her boyfriend house and he raped her huh?

Except if the said girl is smart enough to inflict injury on her self, the boyfriend can always come up with brilliant defense.

The only person to prove that she was raped is the OP.
What does port-harcourt have to do with not knowing whether Nigeria uses forensics? , You see why you shouldn't be taken seriously, and stop making assumptions about me, you don't know me.

Saying she got raped at her boyfriend's is not complaint enough? Humour me please, come up with a defence for him, and you know she sustained no injury in the process, how exactly? I just told someone not to argue with you, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since this is a serious issue, despite the fact that it's obvious you make no sense whatsoever...

Judging from the law angle. Can she prove she was raped?

Remember, the act happened in the bedroom and the only witness admitted doors were unlock.

How will you convince a jurist that a boy raped his lover?
If she had left scene of crime immediately, going to the police station with torn clothes and signs of battery, then yes, she can prove it. I don't know about Nigeria but detection of crime is quite easy, using forensics.

Btw, I am only quoting you, so others can know rape is provable and not take your comments as facts and not report rape, other than that, you are to be ignored, nonsense.

Very warped thinking. People date without sex. The fact that you spend money on someone doesnt give you the right to defile them. She did not force the guy to spend on her, he did it willingly to impress her. When you meet a greedy person, it is your prerogative to discontinue relationship with the person or continue. Rape is never excusable. Gosh! How do you people reason sef?

come on. stop playing dumb. you know what you did. just admit to it. you took a passive aggressive jab at cococandy. in fact cococandy we need you here to tell us how you felt when you saw sweetcocoas post. that ought to clear this right up.

my weekend going mighty fine mademoiselle sweetcocoa
wink cheesy
You can't answer a simple question and I'm the one playing dumb? Sukkot really? Smh seriously at you right now. undecided

I am too blunt to take a jab at someone in that manner, certainly too smart to side with someone insulting a baby.

Do you even know that as a response to that post, the person it was directed at can just type only "hahaha" with smileys, laughing at the poster's f00lishness? No need for too much talk cos she's sure her baby's cute. I even bothered typing plenty after laughing mockingly at the hater's stupidity, because I do believe all I said about the lil girl to be true.

Cococandy and I have no issues, we aren't buddies or anything either but I'm not petty to take a jab at her with her kid, have I something I want to say to her. like I don't believe you right now, you really think that little of me?

I'm only responding in this manner because it's you tbh, if it were someone else, I'd have gotten another ban like I did while responding to ireneony, I don't take kindly to such ridiculousness . angry

take a chill pill please, I'm just saying my mind. If my comment offend you, I'm sorry smiley all I'm saying is, she shouldn't have taken the gift because she should know when guys give out something, they will always want something in return. At least now she will learn her lesson smiley
What you still fail to realise, is that your comment gives rapists/ potential rapists an edge over their victims, in fact you endorsed rape and that is highly offensive.

You or anyone else have no place to say whether she should take gifts or not, that decision is hers and hers alone to make and there should be no consequences whatsoever for accepting a gift, fvcking key word here is "gift".

Gifts are free, unless otherwise stated, it is very fallacious to assume that any man that gives you a gift expects something in return, and in an event where they expect, there is no onus on you to give something back, while one good turn deserves another, committing a crime to get your supposed deserved favour is unjustifiable, reason it's called a crime in the first place.

The fact that the world crawls with useless/evil people, is no reason to try to make excuses for crimes committed.

Y'all should get some education please.

come on now, dont play dumb. but like i said, maybe its just how you write but dont think everyone will agree with you on this issue. daz all am saying. its controversial in dat not everyone will see it how you see it as is the case with myself and ireneony. so just off the bat, 2 people have asked you why you are laughing. those 2 people are not crazy. but it is what it is. trust ya weekend is going schmooveeee wink wink grin
You didn't answer my question sukkot, don't evade.

Can one laugh at a dumb statement while calling it dumb, both in speech and writing? This is not about how I write.

There is no controversy whatsoever in that post, if I was taking a jab at cococandy, wouldn't it be beyond stupid to defend the baby in the manner I did while calling the OP a hater and stupid in the 'plainest' of words?

Ofcourse not everyone will agree, people are disagreeing on rape, how much more a post about a baby's looks, you forget that majority of the world is daft, pity you fall into that lot today. cry

Sukkot, you disappoint me terribly.

My weekend is going swell, yours?

I really miss the old NL where you can say things without mincing words, I actually believe people grew common sense to an extent at least by getting harshly schooled on here, it's a pity really.

Do you even know what a gift is? She brought rape on herself, like do you have a brain at all?

What sort of silly talk is life is give and take? What law says it is a must to give or take anything from someone biko nu? Just how is rape consequences of receiving gifts you weren't forced to give?

Its a passive aggressive way of getting at someone. like you have something against cococandy but you chose this passive aggressive way of throwing jabs lolzz. but like said, maybe its not your intention and this is just the nigerian way of writing --- but in england or america or any western country they will see that as inappropriate. FACTZ. wink

What I wrote was exactly how I wanted it to be, I could've written 'hahaha' a thousand times and it would've meant the same thing I mean.

Btw, I didn't highlight any parts of the post I responded to nor mine but even if I did, it still wouldn't have changed the intention of my post.

I think the victim(girl) should report to the police, the guy was wrong for beating and forcefully engaging in sex without his partner's consent, the girl too is at fault for milking the guy without giving anything back. So both is at fault.
What nonsense are you talking about? Since when is it a must to sleep with someone because they spent on you? Statements like yours is what gives these rapists part of the impunity to do what they do.

Like you can tell a person how to react to gifts, hian!

Many things I have read here has opened my eyes to something. Life is truly unfair. I have never ever pranked a lady before and don't really like that shit. She did it first and it really broke me down. Yet she has blamed me, her mum has blamed me, her friends have blamed me, many here have blamed me and yet till today she still hasn't come to terms with forgiving me. Well in life one must learn to bear some shame and walk away.

Since its all my fault as responses here have shown, nobody wants to see that she pranked me first and that the prank I did wasn't even my idea. I will accept the blames and abuses and move on with my life. Many may not realise it but what if I saw a weapon dat night and I killed her, I will be in jail now still blamed by everyone.

This is why I don't do pranks, yet my first prank cost me this much. Losing someone hurts and sure this hurts me, but enough of me feeling bad about myself. It happened, I am the only agressor, she is the victim. No wahala since this is how the world works. Have learnt a big lesson. Thanks
You couldn't have killed her because it was a well thought out prank, she knows you and how the house is, plus she could easily as well speak if it was getting out of hand, making you realise she was the one, so quit imagining .

Her prank is the most common one ever, it's not that dangerous if you know who you are pranking.

To even think you boasted, smh.

nobody wants to consider that I fainted, something dat made me shed tears unashamedly should show I was scared to bits, maybe mine was worse, but I didn't even see it as too bad till now. Till date she has refused to forgive me. Or even give me a chance to beg. Anyway I am watching her, like u said, if she is mine she will come around. If she isn't she will walk away. Its hard for me sha . I shall survive
Oh! Please, you fainted ko.

Why were you boasting about not scaring easy if something like this can make you faint? Her prank is a prank, yours is something else.

You only just succeeded in traumatising the lady, like you don't know how repulsive roaches are, talk more of rats that can bite and infect her with disease, not to mention the fact that she has phobia for those, then you go and bolt the door, removing the light, making it totally impossible for her to try and escape.

What you did was very extreme and a wise woman would stay away from you.

Acting as a ghost or whatever to scare someone is practically the most common prank ever, even kids do it.

You are too mean abeg.
