Tinubu made those promises because of the pending PEPT at the supreme court.
After the judgement he bundled the NLC president and used mc oluomo s thugs to assault him.
The same way Buhari never fulfilled any of his promises despite taking 77trillion Naira loans with nothing to show,is the same way Tinubu is gathering wealth for his great-grandchildren.Na only the late Abacha loot them out eyes on because baba don kick the bucket

Go and find out why there is quiet Xmas everywhere in Lagos .even Nigeria breweries did not sponsor their usual beach jam. Lagos economy is gone , take it easy on the demolitions so that you can have people that can bailout wema bank, GTB, Polaris and sterling bank during consolidation coming soon

Lagos is quiet, I know people who travelled from UK and US to Lagos this Christmas and from what I see there is nothing modest about Christmas in Lagos, it's been rather lavish inspite of all the tales of poverty.

Nigeria continues to be a tale of two towers , those who have a potion of the Commonwealth spend it recklessly while the dispossessed masses suffer hunger and great want

So you believe all the BS that Betty brought him home. Someone who went abroad on countless occasions for treatment. Make una fear God with these lies anyway, your nonsense can only end on the internet, dem no born una well to confront that Woman.

Betty influenced him coming home to be nearer to the state and to defeat theoves for impeachment. There was already increasing grumbling that he was too sick to come back home that was when Betty took a picture with him where he was seated and throwing up the peace(Victory) sign.

It's very common knowledge that his health was degenerating but there was a clandestine and extensive plan to retain power so that the governorship primaries can be planned by them rather than surrendering power to lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Governors are too powerful in Nigeria which is why all these intrigues are going on

You can have 10 dialysis machines but what of the training for the nurses who would operate and monitor the patient. I've been informed previously that in hospitals in UK training for management of patients on dialysis is some 6 months or more, and it has to be a certified nurse doing the dialysis. Most of the board registered nurses in Nigeria have left for other countries most of those quacks you see at hospitals are nursing assistants

Oga can you just be silent. The wife had nothing to do with it.

What was said above is exactly why Aketi couldn't get the medical attention he needed. Betty brought him home rather stay in Germany or US and get the best medical help because she wanted to stay in power because she was corrupt and her son was doing same.

Akeredolu should have stepped down a long time ago, they just brought that man back to Nigeria to suffer needlessly and die.

If he was undergoing dialysis at the time he died that mean the lukemia must have reached an advanced stage and started causing multiple organ failure

Should have focused on taking proper care of his health instead of dragging governors seat with his deputy.
Now none of all those matters anymore

I don't think Ogbeni had anything to do with the issues in Ondo over the last 1 year, it's the scheming of his wife , his son and some people in the cabinet and legislators who used his incapacity to abuse and misappropriat state resources and wealth. He was a victim of these people, and the reason those people stopped his deputy was because they wanted that power vacuum to remain

I put it to you that if the Igbo leave today Nigeria would go on without them, I guess the calculation is that if the Igbo leave it would cause a cataclysmic collapse of the ethnic nationalities that make up the whole I think otherwise, I believe that would only cause the remaining ethnic groups to come to a consensus that works for all, there would be some hard bargaining but it would yield a better nation.

This has nothing to do with the relationship built but rather the socio- political and economic realities of attempting to do it alone.

This is pure nepotism at play here. Our judiciary are heavily compromised already.

Can't be labelled as nepotism because the younger brother is a civil servant who was already working in the NJC and must have been there before his brother ascended to the supreme court as a justice, he has been prompted by the civil service commission and his caree should not be shackled by his brother's position.

He wasn't promoted by his brother, he is not a member of the NJC but rather an auditor in the accounting office. There is a possible. conflict of interest but that reality must be juxtaposition against the civil rights of the brothers to a pursuit of happiness.

You're just saying nonsense, the building contravenes the law, and those buildings are also negatively affecting the lives of other home owners and residents.

People are getting flooded and loosing their properties, I have read stories of vital documents getting destroyed in floods, cars damaged, most flooded houses are damagd because we don't build hosuess with moisture membranes in Nigeria so thr foundation becomes weakened.

It is time to free this guy.
1. 90% of the Igbos support him and this government needs Igbo support
2. Nnamdi Kanu has calmed down and has been giving non-violent vibes from detention. He is against the carnage going on in the state.
3. The government instead of detaining him can use him as a tool. Right now Simon Ekpa needs to be checkmated and this can only be done to some great extent by his former boss.
4. The IPoB groups will use this judgement as a reason to be more vicious. They will kill more government workers and even kill more Igbos at will.
Yes Nnamdi Kanu's talk during Endsars was more of terrorism. But if Igboho is walking free in Germany, and Sheik Gumi is still chewing gworo in Kaduna, then Kanu deserves to be given a CONDITIONAL release.
Unfortunately it is like Tinubu is on a course to self-destruct with the policies of his cabal.

This government doesn't need Igbo support, 2027 would be worse because between now and then the little influence Obi had in NC would have been errroded, see that appointment of CDS from southern Kaduna , SGF from Benue etc has already taken care of that area.

I hope for his own sake Obi doesn't attempt to run in 2027 because the defeat he'll experience would be brutal.

Igboho is walking free in Germany because he managed to escape to Cotonou before arrest and that government wouldn't release him back to Nigeria, did you notice he started behaving himself once he saw the might of government.

Even his ENDSARS hate speech was targeted at Tinubu & his perceived business interests.

Same Tinubu is now President and you expect a soft landing from him? Just dey play

My issue with Kanu is, why the hatred for Tinubu when the man never crossed his way? Besides, he left governorship seat in 2007. And never had issues with Igbos while in office.

Infact, his administration recruited most of the Igbos that are in Lagos state civil service today. He had many of them as commissioners.

Igbos form at least 15% of all Lagos state MDAs workers. Secondary schools nko? I went to a government school. My Principal and lots of the teachers were Igbos.

I just don't get it

Tinubu greatest crime is one is succes and second his influence in the formation of APC and the dispatch of the Goodluck Jonathan government which was evidently considered a SS/SE government.

The most powerful individuals in that government were from SE and even the other deltans like NOI were of Igbo descent, that really rubbed a lot of the SE people off.

Looks very well. The pictures do present what must be the greater metropolitan area as very lush and well planned.

Enugu is one of the premiere metropolitan cities under colonial administration I suspect that it's population has not increased exponentially as the others must have over the previous many decades.
This would be to the benefit of it's citizens who must enjoy the reduced congestion.

The man was just embezzling Nigeria money, he suppose to be in detention like Emefele, but what he got from our so called renew hope is reappointment. You people can continue you will meet God later. So according this ungodly man, the cost of taken crude to where they refined it, that of bring it back as refined product, insurance and import dutiesall this will not have any impact on cost?

Sacking Kyari would send the wrong signal to investors given NNPC L is no more a government entity as it was before.
A transition should have been put in place to see to his exit when it was fully deregulated but for the FG presidency to sack him would compound our FDI problems in that sector.

I don't agree. Nigerians are happy to pay market price. The problem, especially with petrol is that they need it to survive. Imagine if electricity was 24/7, demand for petrol will dissipate. People are happy to pay for petrol for transportation. Fix the roads, provide the basics. The economies of scale would bring down the cost of local production, overall lowering the price we pay. But government is hell bent on taxing an unproductive population

Nigerians are not happy to pay market price. They would rather cut corners and end up paying an exorbitant price

The cold truth, the cold truth and nothing but the cold truth

Refineries are created to make money. Money to pay the owner, to pay for maintenance, to pay for taxes, and to pay for worker's salaries.

Any attempt to restrict money making by refinery would lead to its collapse.

(Like what Tinubu is doing now. Landing price of petrol has been above N720 since October 9, and yet fuel is selling below N700 nationwide. LOL.).

Anyway, Nigerians do not want to face that truth.

(Awaits people to start spilling electrons).

Cement and salt prove you right.

The reason dangote cement is the price it is has been properly explained by industry experts.

Dangote can't be selling at a loss to please Nigerians, the fact the man is still in business while others are exiting is quite impressive, he lost over 20% of his fortunes to FX/ naira depreciation some months ago.

The logistics of cement distribution is the reason the price remains high, we saw BUA claim they can supply at 2500 naira yet the price after it has landed in Lagos/ Enugu / PH/ Kaduna etc is still over 5k. If you can however buy from factory you're welcome to the 2500naira.
