funny enough, the Yorubas are not wailing about the removal of their native son or asking that his replacement should be Yoruba. The difference in ethnic idealogies are different and clear for all to see.

do you see my response to this thread ? this is how a yoruba man responds to news like this. this how we roll. we dont consider every yoruba to be our family. just cuz you are yoruba dont mean i count you as family. thats how we yorubas get down, and as such this type of thing does not affect anyone of us. the man who got removed when he was getting his salary did not share it with every yoruba person. we are individuals first, then yoruba next. a little lesson for you SE folks

I've said it before that anybody who is asking for the division of Nigeria has no sense at all. The hatred between ethnic groups in thesame region is even worse than that outside the region. Give the igbos Biafra today and I bet they will use a good number of years bombing each other; Enugu igbo vs Anambra igbo, Ebonyi igbo vs Abia igbo, Imo igbo vs Ikwerre, etc. Our problem in Nigeria is that we hate ourselves for nothing irrespective of tribe, religion and what have you. I've heard older uncles of mine refer my tribal people who speak different dialect from ours as devils.. We speak thesame language, just some little variations but a man from my side will prefer to do business, marry, interact with someone even from space than have anything to do with those people who speak same language as us.. We black people have a long way to go.

I agree that the confirmation hearings will be more of a rubber-stamp of Buhari's choice. I'll be surprised happy if the Senate (and the House) reject the Acting service chiefs.

A Federal High Court ruling in 2013 held that substantive service chiefs cannot be deemed to be properly appointed without NASS confirmation.

It is obvious the house is not going to indict the governor no matter how, the members are in his pocket. Meanwhile, he is not going to escape hammer if he is truly culpable except PMB derail from his anticorruption stance which I don't see happening. Note, Aregbesola, Fayose and co are going to leave office before Buhari first time expires. So, there is going to be an ample time to kick the ass of any corrupt politician.

NOTE, APC is my beloved party and I abhored PDP with venom of a python. If Aregesola and co from APC are found wanting they must be dealt with according to law. Era of impunity and nepotism is over for best.

And fulanis have always been in middle belt, they have kings there also, only problem is they are minority.

Lastly I hate when people always label the fulani man as the constant agitator, sometimes they get attacked first, and no one cries foul, yet when they retaliate the media then labels them the agitators, just Cuz they don't own the media,

... back to the topic, the voting pattern from the last election was influenced by the general disaffection with the president and the insults his wife made against the north , , also the realisation by the middlebeltans that the average south east earner or ss man does not differentiate between them and a hausa man ( be they Muslim or Christian ) made them fall in line and vote for Buhari
