Aloy/Emeka, i read how thorough Imam Buchary was in collecting his hadith. on one occasion, he went to meet a person who he was informed to have many 10s of thousands hadith. he arrived at the place of this man and found him trying to get his horse to come to him. the man had cupped his hand so that the horse will approach him, thinking that in his cupped hands, there was grains to eat.

Imam buckary [ra] saw the same hands and there was nothing in it for that horse to it and only for that reason he he did not collect a single hadith narration from him, not wanting to take anything from a man who simply deceive his own animal, at the time of 'need' to get the animal to come to him.
