mushystuff: And there lies the problem! While no one is asking you to find out because you probably do not have the requisite qualifications, the least you can be is charitable and positive as long as he has not attacked you in any way or been violent towards you.
Hitler with all his inhuman crimes and heartlessness towards the Jews, what was his appearance like? All these demonic politicians we have that rob us blind every day, how do they look? Yet knowing how dirty they are you will still hail and support the one that will 'favour' you!
Bottom line, give everyone the benefit of doubt at least at first instance otherwise remain silent! Why don’t you live by your own words and give people the benefit of doubt. You can start by getting off your high horse and stop talking in such a patronizing way. The guy in the picture looks unkempt. Period! We usually address people based on the impression they give. When we do get to know them, out impressions may change. As for Hitler, it is true that history describes him as being nondescript in appearance. But his words were that of a murderous mad man. That would have sent me running. So please get off your high horse. There is nothing about that guy in this picture that will make me associate with him. If I should meet him on a day he appears clean and sane, then I will associate with him. |

mushystuff: Stop profiling! Quit stereotyping! If he had been shot I'm sure you'd justify it with a full complement of stupidity! Some of you are just annoyingly quick to judge and condemn as if his appearance is punishable by summary execution! Meanwhile na una wicked pass! Haba! Let’s be truthful. If I see him on the road, I will go the other way. I will do this in the least obvious way. It is not his tattoos, or waist beads or even hairstyle. It is the crazy look in his eyes. He looks like an addict on the verge of madness. I read where someone said he is very kind. With the way he looks, I certainly don’t want to find out. |

Tintinnoty: Bail is free but unfortunately, unscrupulous officers still extort suspects and make them pay for 'bail' before they are released.
Nigeria is a messed up country where everybody looks for way taking the advantage of the other.
In this country, we are who we are. This is not true. Bail is paid in most countries. The Bail bond one pays is forfeited if the person does not show up in court. |

tarantino1: When you have a job and you fail to do it properly, even going so far to abuse your position, please tell, what's the next line of action to take? Further Pampering?
I don't know why Nigerians like to feel pity for their oppressors. It's like a curse or sth It is not pity, but common sense. If they are all sacked, what do you think will happen to them? You’ll see an increase in armed robbery. These armed robbers will Be mercilessly Brutal!!! The solution is to teach that they are employees of the people. Every arm of government need an orientation where they are taught their job is service to the people. |

Chrisjay1998: Just like since 2016 they have been restructuring and giving them Orientation what has changed ?? we Protested against the inhuman treatment we get from SARS and this is 2020,we are still Protesting for the same Shit !!! we Won't be Decieved any more by their English you saying SARs officials are fathers and husbands with Kids do you care about the ones they have Gunned down and killed Are they not somebody's Husband and Sons in the family Because you have never yet faced the Brutality of these Animals doesn't mean you won't still get your own share of the pain I hope one of your Relatives or Siblings is gunned down in Cold Blood only Then... Will you feel the pains of the Youths You are complaining about SARS, and at the same time hoping one of my siblings or relatives will be gunned down!!!! How are you better than the SARS? Your soul is just as bitter as theirs. If past orientation did not work, then they should be given more until a solution is found. As they have been disbanded, what do you think will happen to them? They’ll probably be taken to other police unitA where they’ll probably rub off negatively on others. The solution is to teach them how to do their jobs effectively. Drop the bitterness! |
Celebrities › Re: Trey Songz Laments FG's Plan To Redeploy SARS Officers by sweetrace(f): 3:48pm On Oct 12, 2020 |
Exactly what does he want the government to do? Does he want members of SARS sacked? Are they not fathers who quite a number of people depend on? If they are sacked, Nigerians should prepare for some serious level of armed robbery from existing armed robbers and possibly jobless ex SARS members. Instead, the government should give a reorientation not just To the members if SARS, but the entire armed forces. They simply need to understand that their job is to serve the people and not bully them. |
Politics › Re: EndSARS: Gridlock In Lagos As Protesters Shut Down Lekki Toll Gate by sweetrace(f): 2:35pm On Oct 12, 2020 |
tot: I don't even get the logic. How does toll relate to SARS? One affects people across the different states and has led to loss of lives, the other is located in a single state. These are 2 different issues. The post I read says people had Gathered at the toll gate to protest the issue of SARS. 1. The issue of SARS has been resolved, so what is the point of the gathering? 2. The protesters should move on to something else. Since the venue of the protest is at the toll gates in Lekki, they might as well protest against the existence of that. 3. The initial protest of the toll gate was lukewarm with a small turnout. This is a good opportunity. |

You should praise her for talking about girl power. She is not saying women should become domineering. Neither is she teaching that women should nit get married or disrespect their husbands. Women should be free to show their strength. A strong woman respects everyone, wants to be the best version of herself possible and treats everyone with respect. I have never seen this author being disrespectful. |

Tenshades: Same as other things that give people pleasure like alcohol, cigarette, sex, Carbonated drinks, etc.
People who are addicted to certain stuff can do anything to get it to make them feel alright.
So, marijuana isn't the only thing that people get addicted to.
Everything needs moderacy.
Sensitization and regulation are important to get the best out of marijuana. The only thing On your list compareAble to the addiction of marijuana is probably alcohol. But, marijuana is much more addictive and the addicts feel bolder, stronger ... when they are high and reason from the wrong end of their bodies. |
