Fantastic idea, but ethics should be taught in schools from elementary schools, through middle and high schools to tertiary and post tertiary education. If taught only in tertiary schools, the students are already adults with their own value system. Best to inculcate the right values in them right from their formative years.

I have three children, and it is the girl who happens to be about the age of this little girl that gives the the biggest wahala. Little children especially the girls need lots of attention and guidance to make them straight. They are like sponge and absorb the character of their immediate environment.

There is a saying in my tribe "a fowl does not know or care about the cost of corn". It applies to children also. They do not know or care about the cost of schooling, feeding, housing, etc. It should not concern them. You brought them into this world, the onus is on you to provide the basic am amenities to them.

The onus is also on you to correct them and curb the excesses. That can only be done if you recognize and acknowledge the attitude or character trait that needs to be corrected. Loving a child includes correction.

I don’t see why anyone is blaming him for the so called actress’s actions. Too many people want to be famous at any cost these days. She’s an adult who made a choice and should accept responsibility for that action. I however don’t understand why the same brush is being used to taint other ladies. Are we responsible for her lack of wisdom or decorum? When she was asked to say something. I was expecting to hear her thank those that had helped her. But she went on to say she has already told the school she’s not going back to that kpako school in that very rude way of hers. A lady, I assume is her mother, was busy laughing. How on earth is that funny? Is the school a charity organization? She’s complaining that they sent her home instead of beating her because she can take the beating. I hope you realize that MJ’s accusers lost their case when he was alive. Now he is not alive to defend himself they bring out a so-called documentary. Stop listening to all these Nairaland armchair analysts and go and fix your relationship. Is your own Christianity only about clothes? Should you not love her unconditionally? Should you not forgive her always? A Christian seeking advice from a forum filled with Christians, Muslims, and atheists will end up confused because you don’t share the same principles. That lady is only dressing that way for you. Most intelligent women dress sexy for their men. However, if you ignore her or don’t compliment her but nag, she may begin to feel insecure and seek validation from whoever is giving it to her. Go to her and tell her your heart. Tell her she looks so sexy you are afraid of loosing her to someone else. Encourage her to wear the clothes at home and lavish her with compliments.
