Exactly, I will never step inside a BA plane unless i'm drunk or drugged. It's a personal protest against these goons. I just don't have any patient for those idiots that treat African men BAD! And it's so sad when Africans just sit there and take it. Sometimes it's only right to fight for your right and dignity. We do not deserve most of the treatment we get, it's not about being militant but you get a truck load of respect when you stand up for good cause or your right.

That's one sad thing about British govt. why would you deport people on commercial airlines?? US govt. use chartered airlines or Border Patrol airplanes. It shows how much regards they have for human life.

I have flown Lufthansa before and i got what i paid for ! They did not treat me like a king and neither did they treat me with disrespect, those guys were courteous and even flirtatious at times. Nobody expect royalties on a plane but at least, give me what i pay for. The British Govt. can not ban any airline from entering Britain because of air business dis-agreement. what tied the two countries together is more that air traffic. They can negotiate for a better service from their people.

AND PLEASE MY PEOPLE, BE OF GOOD BEHAVIOR WHEN YOU GET INTO THESE AIRLINES BECAUSE THE SHAME YOU BRING, Bleep US ALL.

Your right about the 911 thing but trust me when i tell you that the security is level is nothing compared to what they are making it. most of these guys are just plain overzealous ! The highest alert is more directed to Iraq now than any airport in the land.

The good thing about this case is that it is getting some form of publicity and i know some people will react to it appropriately. What is bad is bad, you do not put your hands on another man just because you have the authority to do so. especially if the man was not resisting or begging for mercy.

You know they will, because their British cousins are getting away with it. But if there is some form of documentations, they will not be doing these sh*t. Can you imagine a raggedy @ss TSA employee talking trash to my cousin at the aiport using all kinds of foul languages. He didn't shut up until i turned on my voice recorder. I was so close to getting that bastard's job from him and give it to somebody else that makes sense. These people fear evidence and informations.

Sweetheart, there is nothing wrong in deportation but do it with some kinda dignity and human right. The only reasons why most of these airlines are doing these things are because Africans, especially Nigerians refuse to act. There is power in Economic power. And if Nigerians start flying a lesser abusive airline and document the abuse from British airways by taking photographs of the ills that happened to that deportee and posting it online or sending it to media outlets, most of these abuses will stop. Because they know bad publicity is bad for business, no passenger (Be it Japanese or American) wants to hear or see any bad news about the airline they are flying.

It's easier for you to say that in the cozy of your home. People all over the world migrate from one spot to the other for different reasons. Most Nigerians do it because of the harsh economic condition @ home. But regardless of time being up or not, Treat African deportee as you would an American deportee or a Chinese. We are all human and possess certain human dignity. The Deported Nigerian must have had it so bad for him to yell out in pain. These people know it's against their own law to brutalize or torture anybody but they do it because it's "AFRICANS".

Who told you Omotade was aggressive? The man did the proper thing by speaking up against the maltreatment of his fellow African. That's a definition of a man's "Ball". something i'm sure you don't understand. Even if Omotade didn't speak up, it's dam n you Dam n you don't !! British airways has been doing this sh*t for a long and that's why i banned myself from ever flying them. It's not only Africans, they did the same thing to Naomi Campbell, Snoop Dog amongst others. What Omotade did is a justifiable protest against an "eye sore". Most european airlines are not any better. I remember KLm doing similar thing to a Nigerian woman in Holland over some $20 over charge. Thank God me and another guy was present on that spot, Other Nigerian men just stood there like a log and looked on. Can you imagine a grown woman getting abused in front of her children over some $20 bill? The white lady even apologized (after the incidents and after some threat of calling the police).Because we made it known to her that she was wrong. IT'S HIGH TIME AFRICANS START SPEAKING UP AND QUIT FEARING THESE OPPRESSORS. WE DID NOTHING TO DESERVE MOST OF THE ABUSE WE GET BOTH AT HER HOME AND ABROAD.

Your reasoning are very shallow. So because the man is being brutalized and being deported, he should have been quiet?? Or they should have a separate plane for deportees because they make some kind of noise. Like this is your father's land. You failed to realize that most of these white law enforcement officers are very overzealous. Even though, the man is illegal in the country yet he still deserve some kind of human dignity but i guess you failed to realize that because you think these white officers are God !! Your first reply was highly repugnant. If all the blacks and the minority in the world adopt your views, slavery and lynching will still be in existence today. Thank God for acts of people like Dr. Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and Mr Omitade on that "Brutalized" airways plane. GET REAL WILL YA? Thank you so much for posting this thread. This is one of the things i don't like about Nigerians, Mr Omitade is a true Hero in my book. I would have done the same thing. If i was on that plane, i would have politely asked all Africans (Not just Nigerians) to exit the plane. The white people cares about their money and they would not fly an empty plane to Lagos. And if you don't fly that plane you are entitled to refund of your money. This is called a non-violent protest of our rights. These Oyinbo people do these things to us because they feel like we will not do anything. It's high time we start fighting together as a black race, because if we don't. It can only get worse.
