It's no big deal, I chose spinal anesthetic because I wanted to be awake during the procedure. I had to bend and stay still for the injection (this was hard because I was contracting badly), once it went in, within 5-10 mins surgery started, I didn't feel a thing and was laughing with the doctors (they were gisting about how they were going to celebrate after a long successful day of CS procedures). about 20 mins layer, baby came out, cried, and was taken for weighing and cleaning, I was stitched back up, didn't feel a thing. I was told not to raise my head for any reason for 12 hours. The first reaction I remember was shivering which they said was normal. I stayed flat on my back till the next morning (surgery was over around 6pm, started about past 5) when I was forced to start walking around.

The pain once the meds wear off is a lot! But I was given meds to take the edge off, walking around periodically also helps. Don't carry anything heavier than your baby, no sweeping, bending, stressing bathing (depending on the type of stitches). Coughing and sneezing should be avoided if possible

I was discharged on day 3, within 1 week I was back to myself, driving short distances, stitches came out after 2 weeks and I was 100%

Almost 2 years after, tummy is flat, only a small scar around my bikini line, zero pain or effect

Will I willingly do it again? Absolutely, I'd rather go ELCS than labour then end up doing emergency CS (which was what happened the first time)

Point of this story is to relieve your mind, it's not a big deal and it's better if your doctors have advised this route. The biggest issue is the pain after. Just make sure you're confident in your doctors and trust God to see you through

Hurray, 3rd trimester is here finally. We thank you Lord. Just like yesterday. We're here, closer to holding our cute LOs. We can't thank d almighty enough. We should be in our 28th, 29th, 30th, and 31st week now. Honeymoon is finally over. It's getting real with the fatigue, pressure, stronger kicks and BH contractions.

I hope we are attending our ante natal classes and taking our supplements.

Shopping nko? I hope you're doing it already. Mama Messyodi already opened floor. I pray God provides us with finances to be able to carry out this task.

Dont also forget to do shakara with your bump o. Pls enjoy it while it lasts. Enjoy all previliges that comes with it.Don't go around tying wrapper even at home. Show hubby what you've got

Mamas its a new month. how are you all doing.I'm sure the ministry is moving smoothly to the glory of God! We should be in our 24th, 25th, 26th, and 27th week respectively. 3rd trimester is just by the corner so enjoy the remaining part of the honeymoon phase. I hope we are attending our ante natal classes and taken our 2nd dose of the TT injections.

I believe our bumps are now obvious. Abeg do yanga with it oo before we start serious waddling. My tummy is not that big but i have started enjoying privileges. I no longer buy lunch myself in the office. Someone esp my bosses always buy lunch 4me. Few work load n I'm enjoying all the attention. We've been expecting this for a while so they are all very happy for me.

Let's not forget to put our team mate bunny19 and other mamas that stopped halfway in our prayers.

Pls get d medical report teamie. The hospital should. Easier if it's private. My hospital once gave me an excuse duty certificate even b4 i was pregnant. So it's very possible if you explain well to your doc

Praise be to God as most of us are now in the 2nd trimester!!! 15th,16th,17th,18th week. Wow! how time flies,just like yesterday it seems d Ms and nausea wont end but now we are perfectly managing it as there is little or no trace of it again.

Most of us should have started antenatal now and taken our first TT injection. Hope we r taking our supplements regularly too and also fruits and veggies? very important.

Any movement from Lo yet from anyone? Me i have not started feeling o,but i guess there is still time. May God see us all through to the end and may we have a supernatural delivery. Mummy alive,baby alive and Daddy alive with plenty owo,kudi ,ego .

I wish all preggy mamas on this thread a successful delivery,those who have birthed their los may God give u the strength to take care of them. And our GTC mamas God is not asleep,as He has done for us i know urs is also on the way!! He will do it!!

One love mama i am fine o. I am eating well now though i still throw up in the morning when brushing. Plus i have started feeling movement o. Baby loves apples so much. So I eat apple every day sometimes 2-3 large ones a day. All in all am enjoying honey moon phase plus the glow no be here.. I just de fresh upon say na only vaseline smell i fit tolerate. God has been faithful
